Really like how they got it set up now. You order from a kiosk, get your drinks at the fountain machine, seat yourself and wait for your name to be called. Easy peasy. They did forget to give us the extras we ordered but other than tht it was great!

Great food if you like a burger place. Soda shop with a happy hour from 2- 4 pm for half price milkshakes. Short staffed like everyone else, so be patient. It's worth the wait!

For most of my life, Steak 'n Shake was my favorite fast food joint. Sadly, like many other fast food restaurants, they've changed. And not for the better. What used to be quality meat, now tastes more like some vegetable rendition of beef! Menu selections have changed with the time (also not for the better); no more orange freeze milk shake; no more baked beans..........I will say their fries were good!!! This particular location is clean, staff is good, always busy. Sadly, it's just not what it used to be overall.

Delicious. This burger just hits differently, in a good way! It is not your typical fast food burger. And, the service was fast! Be sure to try the mint Oreo shake. Or, one of the others!

$42.00 for three small meals and 2 milkshakes. We ordered on a kiosk and the kiosk asked us if we wanted to tip. Nobody came to our table, we had to pickup our food and clean up our trash. Bowl of chili is more like a cup. Steak N Shake used to be known for their reasonable prices. Not any more

I'm extremely disappointed when I am coming to steak and shake for a nice little diner family dinner and google says the dine in is open and it's not. These things should be updated so people don't go out of their way and ruin plans. I love steak and shake but the service is getting worse and worse.

Everything was great sever was fast and everything is self service. You order on the tablets and get your own drink the staff calls your number for food and milkshakes

The visit to this location was pretty standard to other locations I ordered the frisco melt large onion rings and a cotton candy milkshake which is my favorite but my honest opinion is it was high priced for what I received first off the burgers was quite smaller then the toasted bread it was on and second the milkshake wasn't completely full since I didn't ask for whip cream and a cherry which they should settle the difference of the whip cream since I ordered none instead of shorting me on milkshake. The only other thing I have to complain about is that I put it under service for the rating is the fact that you have to order yourself, pick up your own food and bus your own table after you are done which I'm not lazy my complaint is the fact they are taking jobs away from hard working humans and still keeping their food prices just as high just to fill their own greedy pockets cutting out jobs for employees and not giving anything back to the costumers in their downsizing.

Good to see this restaurant survived the pandemic. The condition of the restaurant inside has improved and the food always hits the spot.

The burgers here, although very thin, are also very good! The milkshakes are also excellent, as well as my favorite -- onion rings! I frequent this Steak & Shake for lunch and it is a favorite establishment for lunch or dinner. The only negatives I would mention is that the kiosks ask if you would like to add a tip, and when I decline to tip, I have a slight suspicion that my order is moved back of orders that did add a tip! But I could be wrong. Also, here it is important that you SAVE THE QRS CODE that is printed with your receipt, as *you will need it* to make the soda fountain dispense your drink! This Steak & Shake is recommended!

Restaurant was very clean in side and out however the double steak burger wasn't that good maybe I didn't order it right using the touch screen instead of a person the bun was cold I remember it being grilled no tomato lettuce it was dry the fries were cool and we drove probably 15miles passing many other places on the way I will not be returning

You now have to place your order electronically rather than with a server, and there ARE no servers any longer. It's self-serve drinks, pick up your order at the counter when your number is called, and bus your own table. The food was good per usual, including an excellent shake. But the floors were sticky and it was hard to find a clean table. The employees were friendly and helpful though.

The experience has definitely changed with no one to seat you or greet you. You now check in at a kiosk and order your meal. A self serve beverage station and waiting for your number to be called. All very impersonal and not the type of restaurant experience I would wish on anyone. Go someplace that has service and waitresses still.

The employees here are always friendly and courteous and the food is always good. It's rare to find mistakes with my order here. They do tend to run out of cherries for the milk shakes pretty often.

The biscuits and gravy doesn't look like this in the picture on the menu... And all you can eat pancakes? Awesome, right? Not so much when they make you wait 30 minutes before they bring more. But it wasn't very surprising.

That will be my last time at a steak n shake. The removal of servers/waiters has reduced the restaurants to just another burger joint. The servers were a big part of the allure. Now there is nothing that differentiates this restaurant.

Food was good. Not a 5 star rating because one inwas freezing the whole time i was in there and ordered a burger with bacon and didn't get any bacon. But even though the bacon was missing, it was really good.

Everything was amazing! I had a steak frank meal. The food was quick, hot and fresh. Very good. Staff was really nice, too.

Great location, and the food came out really fast. Im a bit more old fashioned so i cant say i agree with 100% kiosk ordering. They keep it clean in there. And the food was what you remembered out of steak n shake before covid hit. Beware the sweet tea it could use some sugar 🤣

I did not like having to make my own order, I just wonder how long it will take before they decide we should cook our own food.. if that happens i will not go back. I did not expect to have to learn their POS system just to get food. The lay out is a little awkward at first. We got there just 10 minutes before closing. So they made us get to go orders. We did sit on the benches outside. But could not refill our drinks. It is a serve your self kind of place. Good if you like not being waited on.

Self checkout, I am not a fan. Ordered doublesteak sandwiches, large onion rings with one meal on the other everything small fry. Onion rings were great and sandwiches were good, as always. Kind of thought a large onion ring order would have had more but it could be because I liked them so much.

So the food was very good honestly but we give only 3 stars because they have went the robot way only now. You cannot go into this establishment and order food from an actual human person. Has to be a machine. One that takes cash and one that takes card. Me and my family absolutely hate that part.

First time to go there in years. Used to enjoy going every once in a while. It's definitely not the same Steak and Shake that was. No table service. Kiosk to order food. Food was just ok. My shake was really sweet.

This trip was not enjoyable. We went thru the drive thru which was very chaotic. The two folks working appeared to be bickering, missed items on our order even though it was repeated at the speaker and still forgot to give us part of our order after it was corrected. Come on folks!

Stopped here for lunch and was pleased at the service and the taste of the food. I wish they would still make the shakes side by side. That was a bummer having to choose between strawberry or banana.

Nice place, good burgers but no toppings for burger lovers like myself. I like loaded burgers. If you like only mustard and pickle you will love it. The burgers look patted out by hand and taste like quality beef. Service at the drive thru was prompt and timely, just not a good fit for me.

I love the garlic burger w/ cheese, onion n pickle! Love the chocolate shake as well! I really wish the restaurant would go back to the way it used to be, with being seated and have a server take your order! Also I wish you'd bring back the chocolate Hershey shake n others that you eliminated!

Food was fine and service was quick and friendly. However, I did have to clean my own table and the place had a dilapidated feeling to it overall. Ghost of its former self.

The food was amazing. However, after having a bad day I wanted a good laugh so my friends and I put the name Joe Biden on my order. When my shake order was called I laughed as expected and my day quickly went bad again when a middle aged woman that was the manager with shoulder length dark blonde hair came to my table and said “now I have to go yell at her and get her in trouble because you made her say stupid stuff like that” I explained to her that it wasn’t the girls fault and she was just reading the name on the ticket and the manager walked away without listening. I understand it may have been immature of us to do that but I really didn’t see any harm in it. After all it was Halloween and we were just having a harmless laugh when the restaurant was practically empty.

I’ve been to this Steak ‘n Shake multiple times. Usually the food is good. I don’t know what the heck happened this time but I’m writing this at 3:45 in the morning because I can’t sleep because I got food poisoning. At around midnight almost 10 hours after I had a late lunch I suddenly became nauseous. It wasn’t that bad. Eventually the nausea got so much worse and I went to throw up. I felt a little better. So I went and laid down. About 45 minutes later I had to puke again. This time with a ton of dry heaving. After that I went and laid down again. My stomach feeling better like the 1st time. About an hour and 10 minutes later I had to get up again and go puke. I’m also experiencing diarrhea at the same time. As of writing this I’m hoping I’ll no longer need puke/dry heave and hopefully I can actually get some sleep. Safe to say I probably won’t be going back.

The place doesn't even have caramel syrup. Those idiots couldn't even fix me a caramel shake. So I asked for a vanilla one instead, when I get pure garbage. That's right garbage taste like half vanilla ice cream and half Cool whip I'll mix together for a yucky van yuckenberg shake. Yeah you heard it right here it was nasty.

Follow Up: was contacted by corporate and they offered a refund of our food. We have always enjoyed steak and shake for their freshness and variety. Well give this another go, but probably won't use the app unless we can verify the doors are going to be open. Ordered in the app at 9:15 pm and then the doors were already locked, but in-store was an option in the app and store hours said 10 pm. By the time I got my food, it had been sitting in a warmer for over 20 min since I now had to wait for all the cars in drive thru. I would have cancelled the order had I know this was how they handled things. I was told "we have a warmer" when I asked if there was a way to get my food that was ready any sooner. I don't think the warmer was designed for 20 minute waits.

The update of this restaurant was made with Covid-19 as the lead designer. No more waitresses and personal service. Tables spread out. Hospital white everywhere. It now has all the antiseptic atmosphere of a 1950s coin-operated Automat. The food is still as good - at least for what they kept of the original menu.

The food was great but the lack of service I don't like. There's no customer service anymore the lack of waitress is not a good way to run a restaurant!
