It wouldn’t let me put this post without a star, this new policy that they implemented is just ridiculous. I have been a customer for years. I love my stylist Nichole, and joey for my hair cuts. Unfortunately, last time I was at store before booking my next appointment they asked for my card to be placed on file. I did, since I always come to this store. Apparently according to them I misunderstood my appointment time from 12:45 to 1:45. I received a call at 1:10 stating that I was charged a full service fee, which I didn’t attempt. I offered to come in, then they said if I go I will have to see some one who is level 1 while I was being charged for someone who is on level 4. Then I asked for reschedule to a different date, They said I will be charged a separate new charge. And they refused to refund my money. It’s not like I ever missed any of my previous appointments. I always was on time.

I have been going to Pyure Aveda for years and have had many instances where the front desk staff have been rude and snobby to me. Also, the staff that takes out highlights and washes hair is extremely rough and I have asked them multiple times to be gentle because they were pulling out my hair due to their roughness. I have never complained about my favorite stylist, but today was told by the manager that he does not want to do my hair anymore since I left after 15 minutes when he was working on someone else when I arrived. I was ignored by the front desk staff, Giselle and Donovan, and then when I said I would need to reschedule since he was working on someone else, they rolled their eyes at me. When I called to speak to a manager, Giselle put me on hold for 7 minutes and then Donovan answered. I asked to speak to the manager and he lied stating that he was the manager. I said I wanted to the speak to the manager and was put on hold even longer. I eventually hung up because I arrived home. The manager, Caroline called me and said that my stylist did not want to see me anymore because of all of my issues. I will not write his name because he is honestly the best and I respected him so much. That respect is now gone. I am appalled and hurt by they way I have been treated by this salon and it's staff.

I have 2 friends that recommended this salon. I love the entire experience and professionalism of this salon and would absolutely go back if it hadn't been for the fact that a month later my hair is totally damaged. I wanted to dye my hair a dark purple. The colorist told me that if I washed with warm or hot water the color would rinse out. I told her this sounds like a hair rinse and not a permanent dye and she insisted that it's permanent which didn't sound right to me at all. I used cold water as instructed everytime I washed but a month later, not only is my hair no longer purple, but it's totally damaged at the edges. Whatever product they used is obviously too damaging for black people's hair. Obviously, regardless of the great experience I will not be going back.

Would highly recommend Joey without reservation. I’ve had 2 very different haircuts by Joey to date, both customized to my needs at the time. He listens, communicates a plan and masterfully creates a look that fits your needs. He is well versed with cutting curly hair and creating a cut that works for both curly and straight styling. His work makes you feel like a new person each time :)

Yesterday I had an appointment with Bailey and I had loong hair. I showed her an inspirational photo and how I want want my hair to look like and the bangs too. I was more than shocked she literally chopped my hair no kidding!! I went to this saloon with long hair and I have short hair now when I mean short it is not even on my shoulders it is really short. If I wanted short hair I would tell her that but you can just make someone a short hair because that is what you feel like. I am beyond disappointed beyond upset I will have to deal with that every day now looking at the mirror. Worst experience ever!!!! I would never go back to this place or refer someone.

Pedro…. from the wash, to the massage, the consult, the blow out, the styling… I tried him for the first time for a hair cut and blow dry and his attention to detail; the listening, he was SO meticulous…he was so gentle with my hair, he helped me decide on curtain bangs based on my face shape, I’m positive I will be going back sooner rather than later. If you are looking for a new stylists, HE’S IT. He was also a total vibe.

I just called to make an appointment. And their new policy is to put a card on file. I don't feel comfortable with that at all. I've been coming here for years. Also I asked the girl at the front desk if I'm able to come in, pay for my haircut and make my appointment at that time. She said no no matter what we need A card on file, this is very unprofessional, And illegal, You've lost a very good customer

Destiny is incredibly talented, professional, and attentive to her clients. I would highly recommend her for several reasons. She also has a kind spirit and gentle touch while still accomplishing the clients goals and desires. Great job! I will definitely be back!

Been in soflo for two years and struggled to find a salon I felt comfortable in. A friend referred me to Pyure and JOEY.... he was wonderful! So welcoming and kind. He makes the entire experience relaxing and truly cares about his clients. Joey gave me the perfect haircut. I love it!!!! He helps make his clients feel their best! I won't be going anywhere else.

This was my first time at Pyure getting my hair colored. Destiny was my colorist correcting a previous service by another colorist. Destiny went through step by step what she was going to do to correct the color/highlights. She is very knowledgeable and did a great job evening out my color. I would highly recommend Destiny!

I have used Pyure Aveda Lifestyle salon for years. They are simply the best! Aveda was the first to have all-plant based products and they are wonderful. They perform as they advertise, with a wide variety of specialized products for your specific hair and body care needs. Also delicious aromatics and perfumes. Matt, the teaching stylist in the Boynton Beach Florida location gives a superb scissor only haircut. Also has a firm yet soothing touch for the scalp, neck and hand massage that comes with your appointment. And carries a pleasant conversation if you choose. It’s personal; he’ll remember your family. *****5stars and thank you for such excellent hair care.

I was super skeptical letting anyone touch my hair after my last experience at a different salon. I went in with such little expectations but left feeling beautiful and confident. Sierra did an absolutely amazing job making all of my hair dreams come true. I now love going to the salon and getting my hair done. I get so excited to book my next appointment each time I leave. Really thankful I found Sierra and Pyure Salon. I can finally love my hair again.

My experience at this salon was hands down amazing! Total spa retreat! Sierra is the sweetest and knew how to manage my natural hair… she did my color service, i showed her pics of what i wanted and she definitely delivered! Thank you so much girl ill be seeing you again soon 🥰 Also Angelica was a sweetheart too she cut and styled my hair 10/10 recommend! Love love love my hair 🥰

Astrid H did amazing today on my hair. I understand she's usually at the Wellington location but I caught her at the Boynton location. The salon is gorgeous, welcoming, and clean. It has a great atmosphere, the fruit water and shampoo room will definitely keep me coming back. Hopefully I'll find Astrid again but if I don't please keep the water and amazing shampoo services!! My color looks straight out of a magazine. She listened my all requests and I came out with exactly what I wanted. Thank you Astrid I can't wait to see how far you go!

I had such a bad experience with the colorist, She did the complete opposite of what I asked, she bleached my hair twice and put the wrong toner on it, in the end my hair was two different colors, completely damaged, some of my hair also fell out too. It was a very traumatic experience. That weekend I had my husband's Birthday Celebration and that woman ruined my Hair and my spirits. Worst experience of my life. I’m writing this review to warn other customers that may want to go to this salon or have had similar experiences.

I highly recommend Nicole for color and Joey for cut/style. Both are super fabulous at what they do. Nicole is so sweet and Joey is the friendliest person you will ever meet.

I highly recommend Vanessa! She has been through my whole journey of coloring my hair to the darkest and brightest hair colors. She is very patient with my needs and she knows what is best for my hair. She super kind, patient, and respectful. 10/10 would recommend her to anybody.

Loved this place! The treatment was amazing. Joey took care of my haircut nicely and he was sweet! Additionally loved the last minute add on of availability they had, needed a haircut that same day and got it! A bit pricey, but I think for the service, it’s worth! Def will visit again in a few months

Having an appointment at Pyure is the BEST thing if you need a little pick me up. The shampoo performed in the Zen Den (no talking/no cellphones) is so relaxing yet exhilarating. Joey is a true artist professional. He listens to your hopes, concerns and even encourages you to bring pictures to show the direction you want. I highly recommend Pyure, but do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Joey!
