I’ve
been
a
long
time
customer
and
card
holder
of
Macy’s
but
I’ll
never
return
to
this
location
due
to
the
unwarranted
hostility
of
an
employee
named
Betty.
As
you
can
see
in
the
photos,
this
fitting
room
is
nongendered.
My
boyfriend
and
I
specifically
looked
for
a
fitting
room
without
a
gender
specification
so
he
could
help
me
try
on
a
few
items
because
I
have
limited
range
of
motion
with
my
arms
due
to
surgery
and
trying
on
clothing
by
myself
is
difficult.
I
was
in
the
dressing
room
taking
off
the
last
item
when
a
worker
named
Betty
came
into
the
fitting
room
and
approached
us
verbally
with
an
incredibly
hostile
tone.
She
demanded
that
my
boyfriend
leave
the
fitting
room.
We
complied,
but
said
that
he
would
open
the
fitting
room
when
I
was
dressed
again.
She
demanded
that
we
open
the
door
immediately
and
said
that
she
doesn’t
care
that
I
was
not
dressed.
The
interaction
was
needlessly
hostile
and
publicly
humiliating.
I
wouldn’t
care
that
she
was
telling
him
to
leave
if
it
was
a
female
only
fitting
room,
but
it’s
specifically
non
gendered.
I
usually
like
shopping
at
Macy’s,
but
Betty
left
a
bad
taste
in
my
mouth
and
I
won’t
be
returning
to
this
location.
