Food was good. Tamales were quite spicy, so be ready for that. But I had to have a second dinner somewhere else because the portions are so small. It's one of those cute farm to table places where the food is delicious, but they don't give you much of it. Just go in knowing that....

Excellent food and ambience. We sat at the bar and loved seeing the chef and crew in action. We had the sourdough toast, seasonal salad (apple and hazelnut), gnocchi and trout tacos. I appreciated the menu was both condensed and had variety. They nailed all of it. Nice and informed staff. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful concept and experience. Staff was detailed in their explanations and followup. Menu is detailed and varied in choice. Lake Trout Taco did not disappoint. Corn Tortilla was *made in-house* and NOT commercially made. Each component was slightly spicy but not overwhelming at all. Loved the salsa. Beautiful space accented by the seating. Display chair items are for sale.

Food here is excellent and the price is reasonable for how good it was. The vibe is relaxed and a bit upscale. We sat at the bar which was actually great! Cool to see all the dishes get made, they all looked incredible

My husband and I came here for dinner on a Wednesday night and it was packed! Everything was delicious from the wine (good natural wine selection) to the food. Everything is super fresh and leverages seasonal ingredients. Salads were a breath of fresh air with nice flavors and fresh ingredients after a lot of uninspired, overdressed salads at other spots during our trip.

Fantastic menu. It is a little expensive but treat yourself! The flavors and ingredients are top notch. We had sourdough bread, ravioli, lamb kebabs, fried polenta, and rhubarb crisp. Happy with everything. Lamb portion was a little small, but everything tasted phenomenal and unique. Service, decor, ambiance, all a great experience. This will be a top recommendation for others visiting Bozeman.

Delicious. Great location. Nice people. We had breakfast on the roof terrace and it was lovely. Black and white special (best buckwheat pancakes we’ve ever had plus buttermilk) plus an amazing corn muffin plus a bunch of sides with eggs (don’t miss the homemade hot sauce!). Can’t wait to try dinner!

Really top notch food! My husband said it was the best steak he has ever eaten. They had lots of thoughtful options for dietary lifestyles. When we go again I will request a seat not near the door. I really appreciate the lack of single use items, down to the hand towels in the restroom being actual towels.

I had the privilege of working at this incredible restaurant many years ago, and to this day, it continues to hold a special place in my heart. The restaurant's owners embody a philosophy that is truly remarkable. Their commitment to zero waste, unpretentious charm, and the art of scratch cooking is a rare find in the world of dining. I have since moved away from Bozeman, but I always make a point to return to Little Star when I am in town.

Chic, cool, and modern. This would be a great spot for a date night, but stick to drinks, bread, and pasta. Entrees creative but underwhelming. Very cool spot to spend a couple of hours, though.

We had the kebab and duck dish. Both were excellent and refreshingly different. The place was busy, but the staff was extremely friendly. We really enjoyed our visit. The place was very lively. It was somewhat loud -- at times this interfered with our dinner conversation. But we managed.

Beautiful and intimate diner with a stellar fresh and authentic menu of locally sourced and in-house made ingredients. The wait staff and chefs were so friendly, we enjoyed our dining experience!

Don't miss this great place to eat. Chef John took care of us at the bar and the staff was friendly. Watched them prep our meal in front of our eyes. Falafel was GREAT. Menu changes weekly and it is expertly thought out. My wife and I had a chilled wine called cosmic blend which pairs perfectly with Vietnamese-American green garlic noodles served with pork belly. I had to order the pita bread and hummus to try and it was also a star. Finally found a great place to eat downtown! Check out the rooftop area as it's great when the weather permits. Make reservations!

Friendly staff, efficient service, pleasant atmosphere. Loved the local food aspect. Falafel was my favorite! Only wish that had more variety in wine by the glass. Reply to owner: Had lighter blends and dolcetta, but I particularly enjoy bold Cabernet Sauvignon (especially from WA).

Beautiful restaurant, I sat at the counter and enjoyed the interesting view into the kitchen. Food is thoughtfully made and presented gorgeously. The appetizer I chose was sourdough bread with hummus and was very tasty. My main dish was the pork and I really liked the meat, however not the accompanying sides. I would certainly come back and try other dishes!

Absolutely loved this place. The staff becomes family, and the food is made with love and so fresh! They switch their menu so you always get something new. I highly recommend this gem. Thank you for an amazing dinner guys.

Had a really wonderful experience. The rooftop was beautiful and relaxing and when a storm moved in, the staff easily accommodated us inside. We did a tapas style dinner and all our food came out at once. The gnocchi was our favorite, but everything was delicious. Service, food, atmosphere, with the prices, it was everything I wanted and expected.
