Dopo aver parcheggiato la macchina in area stazione di Verbania percorrendo a piedi per pochi minuti via Montorfano, si passa sotto la ferrovia e si arriva in zona La Rustica, (il bar ristoro quest’anno è chiuso). Un grande prato a ridosso del campo da golf a disposizione di tutti con una splendida insenatura con fondo sabbioso, l’acqua cristallina e limpida del lago digrada piano piano rendendo la zona sicura anche per i piccoli. Bellissimo posto per trascorrere una giornata balneare. Ho visto molte persone praticare stand up paddle sup in sicurezza, è vietata la circolazione di barche a motore. Da qui si può anche salire a visitare il borgo storico di Montorfano e percorrere il sentiero azzurro. Un consiglio per tutti, non lasciate l’auto in qualche maniera in via Montorfano, la strada è stretta e partono giustamente multe salate.

Wunderschöner kleiner See der von begrünten Bergen eingerahmt wird. Von Fondotoce aus mit einem schönen Blick auf die Alpen. Ob das Wasser so sauber ist wie angepriesen kann ich zwar nicht beurteilen, aber wer den Trubel am Lago Maggiore entfliehen möchte findet hier sicher einen schönen Platz.

Ci vengo da anni e ogni volta rimango incantato da questo posto e dal lago pulitissimo. Che meraviglia!

Meraviglioso luogo di pace. Acqua limpida per essere un lago, si avvicina molto al mare... possibilità di noleggio pedalò e canoa a prezzi vantaggiosi, vicinanza a bar, ristoranti e bagni pubblici. Gita da rifare!

Che posto incantevole il lago di Mergozzo! Piccino, pulito, con tutto ciò che si può desiderare per passare un pomeriggio o una serata in riva al lago!

Positiv: toller Innen- und Außenspielplatz für Kinder, direkter Zugang zum See, einzigartig schöner Blick auf Mergozzo und die Alpen, Fahrrad- und Wandertouren vom Platz aus möglich, Kiosk mit Brötchen und anderen Lebensmitteln, Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut, aber vor allem die lebendige und positive Stimmung auf dem Platz. In der Ferienzeit nichts für Ruhe suchende Personen. Negativ: Viele Schnaken. Kein Klopapier auf den Toiletten. Fazit: ein familienfreundlicher Platz mit authentischer Campingatmosphäre!

Einfach ein zauberhaftes Fleckchen Erde! Ruhig, enspannend, schöne Badestellen und wirklich schön!
