Great place for a day out, whether go ape-ing, cycling, walking or a bit of fun for kids in the playground. Long queues at the cafe during lunch time, better bring your own lunch if possible. 4 hours parking for £3 or full day £6. Plus is nearby Bracknell forest!

A great place for getting people outdoors. There is a nice cafe where you can get a warm drink and a snack. The car park can become very busy towards midday, however there are several overflow parking options.

Beautiful find for the kids. GOApe next door and science fun too, but you pay to go in. Bring your picnics and food set up and relax. For the keen cyclists 🚴‍♀️ bring your bikes and enter the forest trail. Fun for all! Across the road is Coral reef great swim for kids but booking in advance for time slots to enter!

Lovely children centre they have built. Has activities for all ages and they have kept it bright and colourful for all ages. They have different sections with all educational play. They also have a very large outdoor play area which is free to use. Parking is expensive though. Plenty of parking. The discovery centre has a small soft play int here aswell. My little one loved and will be taking her back shortly. We spent a few hours there but did not get to see everything so its probably a half day to full day activity.

Great family day, lots to see in the Discovery centre, things for all ages. Well stocked shop. The cafe serves you at outdoor tables with a decent selection. The queue is quite long but food didn't take too long. 2 sets of toilets. Play area for the kids as well as lots of opportunities to build dens! Parking is £3.10 for 4 hours for £6.20 for the day.

Great place to visit with kids, rain or shine... Would suggest packing a lunch box as service can be really slow and it's pretty pricey. Bike trails are fantastic and good for all ages and abilities

Pay for parking then you have access to a fantastic woodland adventure. There's a huge outdoor play area and some great places to walk or mountain bike. You have to pay extra to access the lookout centre itself but I would say that is a bonus extra. Ice cream and ice coffee were out order of choice at the cafe.

We had a wonderful day. Had an interesting and fun Bug Hunt led by a member of staff that my daughter greatly enjoyed followed by a fun session in the science center. The Playgrounds also offered lots of child based entertainment - so much so that on this occasion our forest walk ended up being quite brief. The forest is great. It's lovely and expansive and fantastic to explore - especially when going off road. Parking here can be a real challenge. There is definitely a fear that you're not going to find anywhere and have to leave. Luckily, so far, we've managed to find a spot eventually.

Went with two kids 5 and nearly 2 and they both had an amazing time (as did the husband). The water play area, which is near the entrance, was a great hit with our little one whereas the older one loved the different interactive exhibitions. There is not much place to sit once inside so did get a bit tired towards the end. Lovely play area outside (very dusty though so best to carry a change of clothing). Great place for a walk in the forest too though we didn't manage to cover that.

The kids said they had "had the best day". 3 kids - 4, 9 + 11. They all had so much fun. Great play area outside. Lots of interactive things indoors. Would highly recommend.

The Look Out Discovery Centre has something to keep young and old entertained. The centre itself is filled with really fun science activities that is bound to intrigue those young minds. My 4 and 6 year olds spent over an hour engaging with the different activities. Heading outdoors, the wooden play park had the kids running, jumping and climbing to their hearts content. There are also walking and MTB trails which seem to draw most visitors. Parking is limited so you will need to drive around for some time to eventually find a spot.

Greatest time so much to do. If you book make sure you are there for your alloted slot time or arrive a little early. Once your session has ended they do ask you to leave. Definitely recommend so much to do, lots of areas for play and most if not all displays/ activities are interactive. Enjoy!

So the actual place is great. However DO NOT PARK USING THE APP. I have been issued a parking charge of £50 yet we paid for all day parking using the app. Bracknell's parking dispute website also doesn't work

This once was an amazing, educational centre for children. Unfortunately, with it being so popular, it has seen better days. Not to say it doesn't have its potential to be great again, but with half the exhibits broken or not in use. It's just a shame and needs a little TLC

Great day out for our one year old daughter and accompanying adults alike. Lots of the exhibits are setup with assistance for very little children. For example: little stools to boost their height to give them access. Several of the exhibits needed repair, otherwise it would be a five star review.

I recently attended the bubble show at The Look Out Center with my 4-year-old son, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The performer Alex was not only incredibly funny but also managed to keep the kids mesmerized throughout the entire show. My son was giggling non-stop and couldn't take his eyes off the amazing bubble tricks. It's clear that the performer's energy and enthusiasm made this experience truly memorable for the young audience. I highly recommend the bubble show at The Look Out Center to anyone looking for a fun and entertaining activity for their kids. We'll definitely be coming back for more.

Amazing place we love going with our boys! Today we went for a birthday outing and enjoyed the space experience area finding the black bead and of course rolling the balls in the vortex! The space show was great and the boys actively participated answering questions and wearing a spacesuit! Totally recommend for all ages even husbands! Mine kept wandering off pushing buttons 😊

We celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at the Look Out Discovery Centre last Sunday, and it exceeded all our expectations. Our host Holly was amazing with kids and made it so much fun for them. It was really great value for money and our best Birthday party so far.

Great place full of practical handson things for kids, and big kids to try. We have been coming here for several years, and although some of the exhibits are ageing somewhat there having been some new ones added as well. It takes us 45-60 minutes to get here, which is a vindication of how good it is. Especially 4 - 10 year olds. There is also an excellent outdoor playground, which is free to use (apart from parking). The forest and bike trails are great. More than a whole day's adventure.

We had a fabulous day at the lookout! The kids (3 and 1) absolutely loved the discovery centre. The water exhibit and the building area were the clear favourites. Dress warm in winter because a lot of it is as cold as outside, even though it’s under cover. The outdoor play area was fabulous as well and would be worth a visit just on its own. Luckily I saw other reviews about the cafe before we went and we brought a packed lunch. If I hadn’t done this then the day would have been absolutely ruined (due to starving upset children) by the slow service from the cafe. We waited about 45 mins just for 3 coffees. Be warned!

Very very busy on a Saturday. The car park was absolutely jammed. Some disabled parking but not well marked out if I’m honest. The woods themselves are lovely, been going there for 30 years. A little sad that the den building area just passed the play park is now so sterile looking. Nice addition of some pathways for easy wheelchair access. Toilet facilities were clean and pleasant, but struggled with the amount of people. Shop looked well stocked and tidy. Didn’t go into the centre itself, but will be bringing my Nephew when he’s old enough. Clean water station for filling bottles, could do with a hose area for rinsing dogs legs and boots though.

Fantastic place for young families. A mix of indoor and outdoor activities, which all combine congestive learning and safe fun. Staff always friendly and the environment is clean and maintained. Food and beverage along with car parking can be a bit hit and miss, both with a bit of a high price point.

Cafe review: Had a great morning on the bike trails, and wanted a coffee to finish the ride. No indoor facilities; take away only. Queued for 10 minutes. Person in front wanted a Babycino for the child with them. Sorry they don’t do them. (It is just a latte without coffee, so they would do them). Instead he opted for just milk. Sorry, we have no milk. I asked for an espresso in my reusable cup. “Sorry, we don’t accept reusable cups”, citing ‘Covid’ as the reason. It’s mind boggling that they aren’t accepted, when everywhere else is. Next to the cafe window is a 10ft poster stating that everyone should recycle, and it’s importance for saving the planet. Next to said poster was a bin overflowing with single-use, non-recyclable takeout coffee cups. When the trails and the bike hub are let down by the café. I went without a coffee, as did the rest of my cycle group.

We went when is was pretty much torrential rain so the look out tower was shut which was a shame, there wasn't much cover for those eating outside. We also went in the height of summer holidays which meant it was very very busy even with the staggered times and bands it was just overcrowded which meant it was abit of a sensory overload it was hard to tell where to look next so much to see and do which was great and you can spend a good while here so good value for money, the kids enjoyed themselves and staff were lovely wish we could of explored the woods more will be back to just enjoy the outside if nothing else. It's only fault was the amount of people allowed in definitely ruined the experience in the fact it was just too much going on.

Amazing place for long walks, biking and relaxation. If lucky you may also find some mushrooms 🍄 My favourite place 🌳 🌳

Fantastic indoor activity centre, a few different rooms including small "construction" play area with trucks and bricks, my toddler loved the sensory light room and water play area. Also has an outdoor play park. Saw a lot of families biking and there's a bike place so I think they hire out bikes. Lovely outdoor café with good vegan options, had vegan fish finger ciabatta and a coffee - lovely! Summer hols, sign outside said no on-the-day tickets left so definitely worth booking in advance.

Great place ! Out kids enjoyed many activities and learning tools. The indoor activities are educational and activate the critical thinking and problem solving skills (few activities were out of service). The outdoor activities are various for all age groups and some of them are special needs friendly. There is a Go Ape area but our kids were too busy with what they had so we didn’t go check them. The cafeteria is good and it has a variety of healthy food .. I found many vegetarian and gluten free options, also there were enough tables for eating and benches for resting while watching the kids

Easy parking £3+, play area was nice and cool under all the trees, excellent variety of playground equipment for lots of ages, lots of picnic tables outside and also in the shade, so a great place for hot sunny days. Toilets were okay but not spacious, there's a cafe but we took packed lunch. Also there that we didn't use: a discovery/science centre, Go ape type climbing and MTB trails. We went after a toddler swim session at coral reef which is just over the road. Great combo for a day out.

We had a lovely day out here, exploring all the areas inside as well as braving the lookout tower! A highly recommended place to go to.

Highly recommend a visit. Affordable Good parking too. 10/10

I have been here so many times to walk and take pictures. Very nice long walk. You can get lost in there. Push biking is a must. There are courses in there you can do. Segway Ing and tree climbing with harnesses. Well worth the trip and educational aswell. Plenty of parking and Coral Reef is across the road

Mainly commenting on the surrounding area and activities, but also slightly the discovery centre itself (I last went was I was much younger). Lots of facilities and activities set in a huge pine forest with both plenty of wild trails, walking paths, bike paths (basic to advanced) The centre itself has lots of interactive and fun ways to learn One of my favourite places to come when I was a child and still to this day

Perfect space to spend a couple of hours with the kids. Already suitable even for small toddlers. It's been here for a while and it would be lovely if Bracknell council could find some money to update it, but it's still lots of fun for all ages and the staff are friendly as well

Great experience and learning for kids, specially primary school children. Some displays do not work though. The grounds and outside play area/park is good and spacious for families. Food was lovely too

My 6 year old loves it here!! The park outside is great with a kiosk selling coffee yummy home made cakes (I had the flapjack was so nice) Inside is great for all ages: fun learning for older children and just fun for the younger ones. We’ve been to a birthday party here too and that was fab the hosts were really good with the kids the children had a really good time!

This place is fantastic the science/discovery museum is great for big and small children, spread over two floors. The outdoor playgrounds are fantastic suitable for both young and older children. Parking is very reasonable at £3 for 4 hours. I thought the cafe only done nibbles, but when I went to leave I saw a really small hot food menu attached to the glass where you order. Not sure what they hot food they offer or of the prices. Overall great day had by all and would highly recommend

We loved our visit to the lookout discovery centre...lots of interactive hands on activities for younger years children. Spacious/ colourful centre and lovely outdoor playground. Parking took 10-15 minutes which ate into our booked slot. Restaurant was ok; limited selection so would advise to pack snacks.
