Best gym to train at in the UK by far. Some of the best coaches in the game which have produced countless champions and gold medalists. Mark Spencer is perfect for the head coach role and does an amazing job at running the gym. He’s not just head coach to his fighters and students, he’s a great friend and mentor who puts everyone before himself.

I have been training at the gym for over 5 years now and it is the best Mixed martial arts gym around. The coaches and staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, they are very supportive to everyone regardless of their skill set or ability and they dedicate a lot of time and effort to the gym and students there. Best gym I have ever been to 100%

Excellent Martial Arts Gym Been training here since October 2021 as a complete beginner to Bjj and Mma. Have learnt loads since under head coach Mark Spencer alongside Marie and Jason. Excellent atmosphere and very welcoming and first class coaching and lessons. Would highly recommend if anyone is looking to get into Bjj or Mma training.

In my 8th year as a BJJ Black Belt, I remember Mark Spencer as an active MMA competitor when I first got into the sport 22 years ago. I’m even more delighted he’s joined SBG, represented globally by some of the best on the planet including former UFC Champions Conor McGregor and Forrest Griffin. If you are look for MMA or Jiu Jitsu, whether you are a beginner or seasoned Vet, or a parent looking for a safe healthy environment for their child, look no further. Mark also has a very successful female team with leading competitors on the international scene.

I love this gym! The coach is amazing; knowledgeable, skilled and yet very humble - still has the "white belt mindset". The other people here are great too, and the culture is just what you want. Never had any issues with ego or dangerous practices on the mat. Couldn't be happier! Thank you to everyone there for making it such a great place to train!! πŸ™

Been training with these guys nearly 2 years and have loved every minute. Such thorough coaching for all aspects of MMA. I’ve been a Judo player for years, but training with Mark and the rest of the club has brought my grappling game on exponentially. Would highly recommend a visit whether you’re a beginner or just looking to spend some time training with some new people.
