Unfortunately my first visit here left me questioning whether to go back. I believe this was once a fantastic play area. However has not been maintained to the standard you would expect. The baby "soft" area had hardly any soft obstacles or shapes in and no toys that could be located. The Sand pit had plenty of toys and utensils in however had some litter that needed cleaning out of it. The trikes and bikes most were fine however several had pedals missing, and the push along toys broken. Activity board pieces broken. Play kitchen not many items visible to play with. Wooden toys like pizza blocks extremely worn In need of replacing. Messy play tables weren't set up. More items for younger babies/crawlers in soft play needed and tatty and broken items need replacing. I was also amazed to be told I could not feed my baby with food I had brought. It had to be purchased on site. I had paid £4 entry and then nearly £17 on 2 coffees, egg on toast and one toastie, to be told I had to pay on site prices for baby food. Personally I think this is a little excessive and unreasonable. Adult food, fine I would not expect to bring my own food and happily purchase coffees and light bites from play areas but have not once been asked to buy baby food from any other baby play areas.

I visited with my one year old and can't praise this place enough. There is a lovely selection of toys and activities for under fives and a sandpit. I found it a much more pleasant experience than some of the other play centres around. It's a joyful but also tranquil place to come to.

Had a great time today, with my 1yo and 3yo. Lots and lots of things to do and explore. Nice coffee and sandwich with an amazing view of a shipley and saltaire.

An absolutely amazing haven for children (and parents) where there are endless activities and things to keep little people entertained. Our 18 month old loved running around and playing while we ate toasted sandwiches and coffee. Scrambled eggs for kids were perfectly made for the age. I would say appropriate for children up to maybe 5-6 before the toys start to lose there fun. Any age before that, take your child there now.

First visit here and very impressed. The staff are very welcoming and acknowledge you as soon as you walk in. There is plenty to entertain and stimulate your little one. Our 11 month old boy enjoyed the sensory board and baby area. The coffee is great and the brownies amazing. I didn't get a chance to try the lunch menu but the range of food on offer was very good. I'd recommend booking a table mid morning as it can get busy.

We visited happy planet for the first time today and me and my son both loved it ! There is so much for the babies and Toddlers to play with. I love the fact you can order a coffee and sit back and watch them play or join in with the fun. The area is nice and open and airy which makes it feel less stuffy like some other play areas. The staff were very friendly too and made me feel very welcome. Can’t wait to be back :)

Such a wonderful place. Friendly staff, very good prices and such a refreshing change to see natural materials used for the play areas and seating rather than plastic. So much for the kids to do from baby onwards. Will be going back very soon. Recommend.

I love this place! We had our little boy's third birthday party here last weekend and it was perfect. There's such a relaxed vibe but there's so much for the little ones to do that you can enjoy a coffee in peace and let them explore whatever they're in the mood for. I cannot rave about this place enough, it's ace!

Me and my 3yo both love this place, our new favourite play place, so much more diverse than your standard soft play. Great coffee, lovely food, and fantastic creative play!!

Amazing so lovely for little tots. Lovely coffee and cookies were yummy. The play area is quite not like the busy ones, gets too loud for the younger ones. My niece loved it. Thank you xx

Daughter had a fantastic time at Happy Planet. There is plenty to do for your young child and the open layout makes supervising very easy. I was sat on a very comfortable sofa whilst little un went off and played with her new temp friends. Food was not ordered however I had a cappuccino, which was very decent quality, much better than other play centres I've been to. Happy planet is better suited to younger children but my 5 year old really enjoyed her time here.

Absolutely great. Lovely role playing areas and nice food. Been a few times with multiple people and always friendly. Loads of little areas to play, a big sandpit type area and climbing frame. Great toilets with toddler seats as needed.

Our first time at happy planet it was really lovely great for small children. I didn't have to constantly follow my son coz I could see him and the staff are really friendly. Coffees and cheese on toast were lovely 😍

Very poor setup unfortunately, starting with the worst bit ....toilets and baby changing were stinking of baby nappies , just a room freshener for a few pennies would have made all that difference , but irrespective of that there were no towel tissues even or clean bathrooms to use ! Water all over the counter which had become muddy with dirty shoes of kids over time ! Ridiculous really. The play area itself had run down toys , home made innovative toys like a juice bottle full of broken used pencils .....what is that suppose to mean ???!! The rocking chair had a cloth seat which when pat on , released soo much dust that I pulled my toddler away and didn't let him use. The blackboard section - blackboard is soo worn out , hardly lets you wipe anything off it for your child to be able to draw on it so useless there too. Massive area sectioned off by artificial bay stacks that are not even properly held together in the Jude bags. Littering all over and children stepping over it - and possibly feeling uncomfortable walking/running over it. The carpet for tummy time opposite the mirror was soo filthy , my godness. The venue is located next to a garage with there vehicles lined up in the small road leading into the venue , so no decent parking on site either , pulling a pram in and out over bumpy roads and across the street was one heck of a job . We left before our 1 hour 45 minute slot ended , didn't order anything to eat- as was not sure what the hygiene situation would be there. Just simply wasted money and time . Never going back again

Love it here so much, such a kind and friendly team and fantastic environment for the kids to explore and learn through their play. Epic vegan jacket potatoes!
