Came here for their signature frigedeira and the Roman cake. Both were delicious as well as the fried cod balls. The place was hopping still at 2pm but the boss still took time to chat with us. He's a funny guy. Can recommend.

Frigideira not fresh, dry pastry and not tasty.

Visited Braga on the slow train from Porto. 7€ return.No toilets on board. Stopped at this cafe for a Tawny Port and a light lunch. Local pie n chips for 5€. Claims to be the oldest business in Braga. Pretty town. Worth a visit. Plenty of seating inside and out.

My husband and I stopped by Frigideiras do Cantinho try the famous meat pie and pudim. The meat pie was a little dry and oily (that’s why I am giving only 4 stars in this review) but the pudim was very good! Very sweet and a hint of rum. We also ordered coffee to enjoy with our sweet treat. The serving staff was very nice and attentive. They cut the order in half because they knew we were sharing the treat. Stop by if you are in the area for the pudim!

Asked for a ham omelette. 30 minutes later got plain omelette. Took back stuck a piece of ham on top and covered. Told them take back no sorry. 20 mins later ham omelette appeared. No apologies no remorse said do I want it and i said no. Friend finished her pastie which had a smittering of boiled no flavour mutton in it I think who knows. Wine vile. I don't complain unless really bad. Avoid this place

Empty bar with few staff, poor with poorly educated staff and little attention to the customer. When we asked to order they responded like this: We are busy...! After this answer we have decided to go out. Bud expirience Very poor restaurant bar

Very nice place at the city centre of Braga for a quick bite. The food options are tasty and relatively cheap, the staff and facilities alright.

Came here late at night and was served an almost vegan version of a traditional meal that is not on the menu. Loved it. The restaurant dates to 1792, though not in the same family. The current family has operated the restaurant 60 years. It's a long time either way. They are doing something right. My meal was tasty and the waitress spoke perfect English.

The authentic Frigideiras! A specialty we always eat here and carry with us. And Tibias of course.

I’m not used to 1 star but this time is mandatory. We wait 1 hour our dishes and after that time you tell us you don’t have these dishes. Unacceptable. Worst service I have ever experienced. Sorry in advance.

Bad experience. The food is no longer offering good quality and it had almost no meat inside the typical frigideiras. Not to repeat!!!

The site is in a good location, as it is in the center of the city. The frigideiras were quite dry (I don't know if it was something specific, but we ordered six and they were all the same) and they came with a little stuffing. To be the typical dish, we did not see any special flavor beyond a normal fried empanada. The waiters are nice, although they work quite slowly. The best thing about the site is probably the price, it's cheap and the size of the frigideira is good. However, I think that the price for the side dishes is a bit extortionate, considering that it is rice and fries. In general it is a good place to eat something fast and continue seeing Braga.

The frigideiras are to die for, a must have. *drooling face*

Great location, very good price. Their signature food is underwhelming for the reputation. The place itself is interesting to check out as you can see the remains of a Roman domus underneath!
