Great location. Terrible hotel. Mold in shower. Shower head plastic garage from Leroy Merkin. AC broken with a note two weeks old. Not even a glass in the room to drink...but a note they offer daily "tea service" for a fee. Staff were nice.

Our experience at the Hotel Dona Sofia was just excellent. It suited us because of its price and location. Staff were helpful, warm and welcoming. They provide a very professional service and are always ready and willing to meet our every need. Rooms were spaceful, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was really nice, and service was really good. Thoroughly recommend this for a special treat.

Had a lovely stay. Room was quiet, clean. Bed was perfect. Perfect location near city center and all the sites, restaurants, etc. I did not eat at the restaurant so I cannot judge it. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even let me in when I came back very late from a party (~1 PM). Only minor thing is that Expedia said the rooms have safes and mine did not. But I did not require it, and their own website says nothing about it, so I'm not going to hold it against them.

The hotel is very well located, close to all the main tourist attractions in Braga. The hotel is pet friendly, they charge a fixed fee for the pet's accommodation and tidy up the place with a bed, water pots and food. Hotel staff are very friendly and help with everything you need. The breakfast is quite good, anything special. The rooms are good, warm and clean. The soundproofing is not the best but it didn't bother me. I strongly recommend!

The hotel is in an optimal location...The staff are friendly and outgoing...They allow dogs...The room was clean...However it needs updating...Breakfast is very basic...When folks come to the area they do not want food from Continente or Pingo Doce...You have many farms and regional products around the area...Think outside the box!

Very good location for a slightly tired hotel. I would suggest refreshing things up a little, along with some TLC.

I love the hotel! Super-positioned in the heart of the center-walking distance to all attractions. Staff extremely nice and soooo helpful. I enjoyed the stay!

It is located at the heart of the city centre. You can simply walk to anywhere. The staff is amazing at the reception . They are helping you by all means. Breakfast is more than enough. Comfortable rooms and excelllent wifi.

The hotel staff are super lovely, the breakfast buffet is served to suit everyone’s type of diet, the rooms are kept nicely warm, and the hotel view is fantastic. Above all, you can shop till you drop dead. I stayed at the hotel for my SEF appointment, and it is just a five-minute walk to SEF. I will surely lodge soon on my subsequent tour visits to Braga.

Location can't be better, right at the centre of the old Braga area. Staff was kind, Room was clean and nice. The construction at the entrance was noisy but I guess it's only temporary.

This was my second time at this hotel. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by Pedro, a very kind and helpful receptionist. He gave us great tips of places to eat and visit. Whenever we met coming and going from the hotel he always had a smile accompanied by a greeting. If I return toBraga I definitely will stay here again.

What an amazing location and Staff. The rooms are spacious and you feel very safe . The only issues could be the thins walls if noisy neighbors and the mattresses are older. From the third floor room, we had an amazing city view and one of Bom Jesus!! The proximity to EVERYTHING sells the Hotel Dona Sofia...once you get your bearings straight,you realize you are with a 10 minute walk of every major attraction. Parking is very limited and will not be available at check in, so they have an arrangement with an underground parking garage only 200 meters away for 10€ per day with 24 hours in and out availability. This is sure better than trying to find a street spot, constantly feeding the meter, AND worrying about the vehicle!!! 5 Stars for Hotel Dona Sofia, we will return!!!
