Great weekend getaway. It is located by the sea, with lovely decor, spacious rooms, and excellent room service. The only reason I put a 3 star is the food. IMO, The quantity and quality of the food served are not up to the mark compared to the price charged against it. A plate of french toast with 4 pieces and ketchup costs 300 bucks. I think there is room for improvement here.

Rooms are very spacious . They have ample parking space. Location of the hotel is just awesome. I like the concept of complimentary tea and cookies where one can enjoy the view of sea with a cup of tea. All stuffs were very professional. Buffet spread was good . It would have been great if some additional non veg items could have been added in the spread.

The hotel's location is pristine. The beach resort is vast and full of natural beauty. The staff is very professional and provides you all necessary service. Swimming pool, lawn, snooker table, children play area and prompt room service are some of the highlights. I did not like the food in lunch and dinner, but many options are available in the buffet. The breakfast is nice, but the evening snacks of Jhalmuri and tea is one to savour. Barring some of the minor shortcomings, the stay at this hotel is enjoyable.

What a fabulous place... The ambience was splendid. The food was grand. Staff are polite and accommodating. It is one of the finest properties I have stayed yet. A must visit for newly weds, families with young kids and also elderly couples. The property holds activities for all age groups.

Classy hotel with beautiful views. It's situated near the shore line. Booking was online and hassle free. We followed the Google maps to reach the hotel. Parking for guests is available inside the hotel. The room we opted for was enormous with sea facing balcony. We soaked in the view over snacks. The campus is huge with swimming pool, bar, restaurant, view top, games room, sit-out area and so on. In the evening, we sat on the bench inside watching the beach, and we're served tea with snacks by the staff. Evenings are beautiful at the sit-out area. There is a gate which leads to steps to the beach and is secured by hotel staff. We opted for buffet dinner and breakfast, which was diverse and sumptuous. The staff is courteous and polite. We had a great time.

I stayed here for two days. It was an amazing experience. This is there only place where I've seen better staff than even Taj group of hotels. The staff was extremely courteous, never said no to anything and always greeted you with a smile and folded hands - from restaurant, to security to house keeping, everyone. Food and the variety was also good. They had a great spread for breakfast and dinner. The bar has great ambience and mixes amazing drinks. The beach and the approach to the beach were a great experience. The morning and evening tea at the sea side was not only a great scenic experience but the tea was always so flavorful. The rooms and bathrooms were nice, clean and spacious, with all amenities one can wish for. Though i didn't experience them, the swimming pool and the variety of games and activities for kids were elaborate. Once again, I would like to highlight the staff. It is the people that make a place. Mayfair Gopalpur has the best of them.

Beautiful location and spacious rooms . We visited the property on a date when the property had a wedding event. The staff were busy handling wedding guests and felt the property needed more staff to manage other guests. The property has a huge dining hall but severely understaffed as food was taking very long to deliver . For the price which we were charged we expect better service

Awesome resort. Food was an enjoyable experience. The rooms were clean. The only aspect that can improve is the restroom maintenance which looks old, and, in some cases, the pipes had a leak. We went as a group of 60 and had a wonderful time.

We had a really nice sea facing room. Room was quite clean, but the bathroom was slightly disappointing. The water in the shower had a sewage type smell on the hot side, so we were forced to use cold water. Liked that they provided glass bottles instead of plastic. The buffet spread was quite good for all 3 meals. Additionally, the recreation facilities are also great. The beach was a bit rough as we visited close to a full moon night. Beachside service of tea and snacks can be better (staff can be more courteous, can be more snacks options and better service).

The service was excellent. The staff made sure our stay was problem free. The 3 stars is because the reception staff was lacking in professionalism. They were rude and were taken aback with even minor issues. It was our wedding anniversary and our friend had asked for some special flower arrangements as a surprise for us. He was told that he needed to let the staff know at check-in time. On letting the staff know at check-in time, he was told, very rudely, that they need 24 hours' notice. It led to arguments and finally was sorted, but the happy thoughts were marred by this incident, and they had to disclose the surprise. I did not like that experience from such a respectable resort. Even during check out, I observed that the staff got into a very loud argument with another guest. These kind of situations should be handled separately in another room and not in blatant display to other guests. Not professional at all! The amenities, though, are excellent and very well maintained. The food was awesome. The dishes were well cooked and were delicious. I was already being cautious as I was traveling, so I was not able to taste all the dishes laid out. I

The facilities were great, with a swimming pool, gym, and spa. The beach was pristine and we had a great view of the sea. The resort had its own private beach, which was great as it was not crowded. The activities were great and we had a wonderful time swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. All in all, I had a wonderful time at the Mayfair Palm Beach Resort and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

The resort is an amazing sea-themed getaway which provides a luxurious experience. The resort is sea facing and gives a beautiful view. The rooms are very spacious, like a suite and so is the bathroom. The resort also has an amazing pool surrounded by beautiful trees where one can relax and have a peaceful time. The resort also offers many sea based activities and provides life guards. The only thing that disappointed me was the extremely slow delivery and absent mindedness of the waiters in the restaurant which I think could be worked on by giving them strict and professional training. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to everyone.

A very good resort located at an interesting location. The property boasts many activities which will keep you engaged the whole day. Superb beach access and resting places. The only issue I faced is the swimming pool. Most resorts position the swimming pool in such a way that everybody can look at you which I particularly don't prefer.

This is the best place to stay at Gopalpur. Huge area, having almost every facility for all kind of guests. We stayed at family room, this room doesn't have the ocean view so I think ocean view rooms will be better option for those who are looking to see the sea from the balcony. Check in time is 2 pm, they are very strict about the timing and won't provide you room even 1 minute before the check in time. Service is top notch, had all the services required by us, staffs are very much helpful and courteous, always ready to help the guests with smiling face. Dinner and breakfast was complementary and the buffet spread was huge with all kinds of food options available to satisfy the taste buds of every guest. Food items tasted awesome. Hotel had pool, spa, games room, children park ,all kind of attractions. Direct access to the beach is also a bonus but to remember that they close the beach access at 6 pm sharp so nobody can access the beach at evening and night. Security guards are very alert and attentive. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. Overall had a great stay at the Mayfair property and it is highly recommended pace but the only drawback is that it's very expensive so if you can afford then this is the best place to relax at Gopalpur.

Stay - Executive Suite The staffs here are very co-operative, prompt and the rooms are clean and spacious. Food is very well prepared and tasty. Tip - You can request for items that are not in the menu and mostly the chef obliges and prepares it for you. The sunrise point provides a great view. The executive suite has a private pool which is a big plus. Overall a great place to spend a few days.

This is excellent. No need to even go out of the hotel . There are swiming pools and a private beach . It is really beautiful. There is not a corner where pictures cannot be taken. There are recreational games for both young and old . The suite room exceeded our expectations. There is a private swimming pool in it as well . The staff is very helpul. Ambience was awesome . Buffet tasted good tho the vegetarian selection could be improved.All in all,highly satisfied.

Best place for vacation in Odisha. Liked everything about this place. Lovely view of sea from the resort. Staffs are all very polite and cooperative. Service is praise worthy. Food is Lil spicy but you can inform the cook in advance and get less spicy or no spicy food. Overall experience is good.

This was undoubtedly one of best resorts i have stayed. We went for two nights three days and booked the premium room with jacuzzi. I am writing this review 1 week after stay in Mayfair Gopalpur & I must stay it's one of the best beach resort in India. Everything was so perfect & beautiful. You can enjoy the sea view from room & garden. Private beach access with a sling on beach is like cherry on top of a cake. They provide complementary tea & snacks in morning & evening in the sea side cafe. The resort is built on sea shell theme. The furnitures, amenities are highly appreciated. The entire hotel is so photogenic that you can click pictures in every corner. Thing I most liked is the washroom which has a bathtub too for a relaxing hot bath. But we didn't much like the dinner buffet. The no. of spread is less and we didn't get bread/naan after asking it to 2-3 waiters. So, I would not recommend to add buffet for anyone. You can order from the menu & eat.

I love this place pristine beach, great ambience, excellent restaurant, outdoor pool, scrumptious food and spacious well appointed rooms. Everything to make for a great restful vacation. Love this place and look forward to go back time and again. Only letdown is the excruciatingly slow check in process which is sure to test the patience of a tired traveller.

Great place. It's really worth it. Beaches are clean. The walking area to the water beach length is short not much. You have paid water activities everyday in morning till 9AM, and in the evening. It's a bit costly but you can have all the fun. The staff is exquisite. We mistakenly forgot our belongings (very valuable) and they had taken it to lost and found and also informed us as we had a big group that we went in. It's safe and secure. It's worth a trip to travel. Food is great and delicious. You will love the unlimited variety in breakfast buffet, I was tired looking at the options. I usually try everything, but if I try everything here, it will be lunch time 😂. Overall a great experience. 5/5 I would say.
