Recently I was stayed in this hotel for 4 and half days. It was terrible experience. The reception lady was very rude, no room cleaning even after so many requests. Also they will charge double price if your visiting first time this hotel. So be careful. The min price of double bed room at ground floor for medical purpose customer is 350 and goes up to max 450. However, if your new they will cheat you by doubling the price. I was forced to pay 700 * 5 = 3500 while checking out.

Location: This hotel is located at the heart of the city, so reaching the property is very easy. Parking: They have enough parking space available for cars just 50 metres away from the hotel. Staffs: They are very courteous and helpful. They are ready to answer all your queries. Room: The room was spacious and clean. There was a smart TV available with working internet. It was also equipped with AC and Geyser in the bathroom. I have taken 1 star from the as the western toilet was fitted in a bit awkward position. Also at one end of the bed there was some time fitted (like some cemented bench covered in tile) which can be hazardous in winter time. Otherwise it was great. I have not availed any food as there are Street food and restaurants available near the property. And my understanding is that they order their food from outside. Also many people (for medical treatment) are using this hotel for long term stay. A suggestion to the owner: it will be much better if you can provide white bedsheet, pillow cover, towel, etc as it will give the hotel a premium feel rather using the coloured ones.

Worst lodge ever. It's not an understatement. I have been in lodges that were bad in quality but atleast the staff treated us like customers. Here are some of the problems: 1. The pics are highly misleading. Either they have edited the pics or gave us really bad rooms. To this, the owner says that I'm looking at the wrong pics or that I'm not looking at the right place. Pathetic excuse. 2. The rooms are all old and the bathroom is quite small. Not well lit, dull and a little cramped. 3. They didn't tell us from which restaurant they get their food from. The prices seem a bit high and they never say it clearly which things cost extra. They didn't even give a bill with all the breakdowns and final amount. 4. But the biggest problem was the attitude of the owner. When my family complained about the wifi not working and escalated the issue, she was rude and kept telling us to withdraw the complaint. We let it slide because the issue was fixed after some time. But the biggest problem was when the geyser tap broke. The bathroom has all these poor plumbings that will wear out after using for a short time. The geyser tap was leaking and the next day, it just came off. They charged us 200 for this. The owner said that we're doing it intentionally to ruin their image. Wow. Like we love to just throw away ₹200 for no reason. And the staff argued with us saying that we tried to "demean" the owner. Absolutely disgusting behavior from the staff. TL;DR: Don't pick this hotel for the ratings. Most of the 5-star ratings seem fake and paid. I don't know about others but hospitality is the one thing that you can't expect from this hotel. I'm pretty sure they'll respond to this review with something that just puts all the blame on me or they might copy-paste "police statement issued" BS.

The hotel is near from railway station which is good in place selection.... Staffs are helping in nature.... Rooms are just perfect well furnished neat and cleaned 24/7 availability of rooms More importantly pet friendly Overally i recommend to stay here

The owners responded immediately right from the time of my enquiries about the place. Their cordial and sincere responses made me book the place without second thoughts. And I was right. The place is great for a stay! The room was nice and spacious, priced perfect, kept absolutely clean and maintained excellent. So was the washroom. The hotel is situated on the main road and is very easy to locate. They have their own separate free parking space where you can conveniently park your vehicle. The service is very spontaneous, and we felt at home there. I will definitely rebook when going to or through Berhampur, without a doubt. (The owners also helped us with our travel itinerary and gave valuable suggestions for our road trip.)

A good stay in a very accessible location. Quite good and subtle. Suits the need of staying in a hotel satisfactorily . Staff behaviour was excellent. Main reason for my stay was parking, and I was surprised with extra good behaviour of staff and management . Parking is enclosed with gates and provides good peace of mind. All to the upside points for hotel. Can be choosen for stay anytime.

The newly renovated rooms are very clean and comfortable. The reception's staff one of the best I have met during my travels in India . Highly recommended!

The hotel staff were very much cooperative, helped me a lot, the owner is a nice and humble man will solve all your worries and the food is also of good quality the cook is a nice man. Good place to stay. Very nice staff. They have a big parking for cars too. They offer very affordable AC rooms and affordable Fooding. The room designs are slightly old but I can say one of the most budget friendly hotels at a central location in Berhampur town. They also offer hostel and mess facilities.

I visited brehmpur for my exam with my friend. I booked this hotel from Google. When I went to this place the boy welcomed me and took me to the reception to do all the formalities. Within 5min he arranged for me the room with AC, tv, geezer . The room looks very clean and big. TV Remote is not working at that time I told that service man to do something and he did that. Overall it's a very NYC place for all the customers.

I was travelling with my pet dog and needed a pet friendly place to stay..this is a hostel, it took me 15 mins to identify the place. The car parking area is not in the same building. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy and the AC was working, this was my requirement as I had been drving for the entire day.I had ordered food from zomato since I reached pretty late to order from there and left next day early morning. The checkout process was smooth

Okay I was not sure of the hotel wen we booked it and wen we rchd thr I was so not happy with it. But guys trust me u shld meet their owner I think, Mithun, (if I hv not spelled it wrong) and ur opinion will change immediately. He made us so very comfortable plus was so friendly tht our stay became Hassel free. Rooms are okay, neat and clean tho. Toilets were also clean and tidy. Overall had a good experience 😌

We were in between a road trip and needed a double bedroom for d night.. the lodge actually fitted our requirements very well... Close proximity to d highway and very cordial service with tasty food were the highlight of my stay...

Average hotel and rooms. It's more of a hostel type so it's not so quite for good night sleep. Some rooms have Indian toilets so inform your preference before taking the room. They have ample parking in an empty lot besides the restaurant - it's an open plot No issue with dogs which is a definite plus point. The reception folks were really helpful.

This was the best hotel I've ever visited.. Cleanliness as well as Breakfast Lunch Dinner All Available at best price.. Which I like the most ♥️.. The rooms are very clean and comfortable for all. Great stay at Hotel HCB. we 4 friends had come to attend a wedding function of our friend. They have a huge parking lot and with welcoming staff. The person in night duty was very kind to open the parking gates at mid night when we arrived. The day staff is also very responsive. With all basic facilities available, this hotel is a good choice for a night stay with friends

The location of this hotel perfect for all who need medical, institutional, coaching, dorm and travelling shelter. It has great ambient lighting and has people within who will remain always by side to help you in need at any situation. There is also hostel facility available which bears a value for money cost. Rooms are good 👍. Maintenance is the best factor it provides, if there is any problem you are facing, then staff will be the one who will first look into that matter. Dining facility is also available if you choose to opt. A great place to stay.

There was no water for 2 hours, then we had only cold water. The concern is that was a resolution, but that was taken away from . After couple hours eventually we were given a key to another empty room so we can use the hot water that was available there. But the hotel manager came within minutes of us getting the keys delivered and took the key back. She said hot Water will be back in 10 minutes ( that was the fifth time we were promised the same 10 minutes resolution since 8:30am till that time). Keys to a room with working plumbing was an acceptable arrangement for a fully paid “tripple deluxe” room, even though moving around floors for bathroom use does not sound like a triple-deluxe treatment. While we understand occasional plumbing issues, taking the key to an empty room back for hotel’s convenience was the absolutely unacceptable part for us. Of course, hot water still did not come for another hour until we eventually checked out of the hotel. We hope the management investigates why was the keys taken away so unprofessionally by that one employee. The hotel definitely had empty rooms, Multiple staff members hadtold us that by that time. Customers deserve better treatment for a “tripple deluxe” room than not having essentials for stay such as water.

Its a genuine review. Stayed for 1 night. Feels good in budget. Can prefer this hotel for families. Neatness and good in service. It have their canteen for working hostel. Food also homely.

We stayed in HCB hotel, Berhampur two nights recently in a 3rd floor room. It’s really a pleasant stay, rooms are quite specious with all the required toiletries. Hygiene condition is maintained by time to time disposal and cleaning. Enjoyed stay in Berhampur.

Stayed on 12 to 13 Aug 23 with family. We took a room with one double bed and one single bed. Price wise it is equal to a three star hotel in Berhampur but it is a typical lodge, not a star hotel. If you have come for hospital then it is ok but if you are a tourist, then don't expect the elite / aristocracy of a star hotel. The room was a single opening small room, so no ventilation. However being an A/C room it was ok for one night. Cleanliness was ok ok. Furnitures are old and plane & simple graded with a plastic chair. A/C was moderately effective but its filters are fully choked and dirty. Bathroom was narrow, averagely cleaned (corners dirty), with plastic fittings (don't expect Jaguar fittings of a star hotel here). Fitted with a big geyser but I couldn't find its switch, so couldn't use it. We were told that there will be extra charge for breakfast. Having a car parking area (not in its premises but at a narrow plot after 5-6 neighborhood shops. Fitted with TV but with limited channels we could watch only one channel for sometime before getting bored and switched off.

Rooms are furnished with tiles but very very small and newly built. 🙂 Don't opt for breakfast with Rs 50, they will serve you puri, samosa from local fooding thela.👎👎❌❌ Service is poor and amateur. 👎❌❌👎

Recently we have visited Berhampur for vacation …it was such a nice experience…we have opted for three people occupancy with extra single bed …it was great stay…owner is very down to earth & cooperative….services r quick …breakfast was yummy as well….

We were on unplanned stoppage in this city. We booked 2 rooms. Rooms are not hygienic. Too many mosquitoes and yet no mosquito repellent given or no arrangement to protect from mosquitoes. Washroom is lacking basic necessity which is a mirror. Don't waste your money incase you are not tight on budget. It was not our planned stoppage and it was late in the evening so we couldn't get much options.

Stayed with friends with in a Non AC room. decent stay, well behaved staff and prices are cheap. Located few minutes from the railway station. They helped us with self-drive scooters as well which was a surprise.This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in BERHAMPUR . The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the HCB HOTEL offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out.

Nice hotel, I stayed 2 days for a day charge they took 650 rupees. Anytime check-in and checkout... It will be valid for 24hours... They provide a bad sheet 2pillow, and a water bottle nd glass ...

The location is good because you can get good restaurants(burger, biriyani)nearby especially near tata Benz round about. (500 meters) along with shopping mall. Room service is not at per but it's OK. Security of room is OK .House keeping needs to improve .
