Very friendly staff, great food, great drinks. Started off with Caesar salad and had the Sirloin steak for entree. (Added shrimp) the au gratin potatoes were amazing, highly recommend

Good food. I had this tomato bisque that came with these little grilled cheese slices. The ahi tuna was also good, had these little pickles at the bottom that added a good finish to the dish.

The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Thought I was transported to a trendy restaurant in the city! Food was amazing, turns out the chef was also the owner. Highly recommend!! Will go again next time I’m in town.

My husband and I tried this place out for our anniversary. It was the best food we've had in this area EVER, starting with the cocktails, right through dessert. We even got a special "happy anniversary" message written in Carmel sauce, which surprised us because I barely said it was our anniversary loud enough for our server to hear! Thank you to the chefs and servers for going above and beyond. It truly reaches your customers!

The poke bowl and fish and chips were amazing, as was the calamari. We are so happy to have found this place and this chef - truly impressive.

We went there for the bottomless bloody mary and mimosa bar and it was delicious. Friendly service and great food. We tried the chicken and waffles and seafood po boy sandwich! Would highly recommend either one. If you are looking for somewhere to go for Sunday brunch, this is the place!

All I wanted was to treat myself to an upscale meal and this place did exactly that! We went from restaurant to restaurant with no such luck until we came here. Kelly was our server and she took the best care of us! Our food was fantastic and the environment was perfect. I was so impressed by the high quality of food and the diversity of the menu items. From now on, whenever I want a great experience, this is where I will come! Great job all around to the staff and owner for giving me what 2 other towns couldn’t!

I’ve been coming here for years and I can easily say this place has absolutely amazing food and wonderful service! Tonight I just ordered a salad to-go, but the person who took my order so was nice and when I picked it up it was all ready to go and the bartenders were so nice. Not to mention, the spinach salad was delicious, it’s a definite 10/10!!!!

Truly amazing place! Food is all homemade, they really take the time to make everything taste amazing. Brittany was our waitress after we met the owner and everyone was super friendly. We will be coming back again, and soon. Thank you for such a great experience.

Upscale feel, with a very casual atmosphere. Lots of kids for a Friday night, and some very very loud tables as well. People were having a good time. The prices reflect the effort to come off as high end, and the menu meets the expectation. The pistachio Walleye was quite good, and the apps were too. Overall, a nice place to eat, though a little rambunctious for the price point.

I have been to the The Local 218 three times in the last 3 months. The first 2 times were exceptional! I ordered the scallop appetizer on pea puree the first time I was there and it was amazing! I was back tonight for a ladies night and wanted something light so I thought I would try that again. I expected to see the scallops on pea puree as pictured and was given scallops on rice with fried onions. It was nothing like described on the menu or how I had previously ordered. Very disappointing!

Staff were all very friendly. Not too busy, but everything was fantastic! The spinach artichoke dip had us drooling… there are vegetarian options available, the black bean burger was so good. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the fries were super crunchy and salty. Indoors was very clean and nicely lit, not too loud, and the tables were widely spaced. A really well done dining spot.

We learned that the scallops are flown in from Boston every couple days, so we had to try the scallop risotto appetizer. It was amazing! The tap beer, service, quality, speed, and even music were great. We’ll be back.

Food was excellent. The Tuna was seared perfectly. The clam chowder was rich and creamy. Only thing i could find fault with was some of the food was on the salty side. The wait staff were awesome. We didn't have a reservation and they were booked, but they were able to accommodate us. I would highly recommend.

This is not our first time here, it has been great every time. Food is really good, service has always been good. The atmosphere is ok…not our vibe, but ok. I just don’t like how open it is. But the food and service is super worth it!

We yelped and found this gem. We Loved the grilled walleye fish sandwich, the key lime cheesecake! So damn good. We asked for sliced jalapeños and that was the cherry on top for us, until we tasted the key lime cheesecake— Wow, perfected by the chef. If I’m ever in this area again, I’ll be eating here again. The service was fantastic.

This place is fantastic! I was so thankful they were open on Thanksgiving. Part of my family is south and part north. This gem was right in the middle of all of us. The restaurant had a predetermined traditional menu for the day, and everything was perfect. They had a sweet decorate your own sugar cookie bar for the Littles, which my niece thoroughly enjoyed. AND the pecan pie is actually the best pie I've ever had! 10/10 😃
