Absolutely beautiful Park! It has lake access Lots of picnic space with barbecues. So much fun information to learn about the local animals. Also our kids really loved running on the beach and playing on the playground equipment. The only downside to this park was that the kids wished there was more playground equipment. I highly recommend this place for parties or just a fun day out with your family.

Had family pictures taken on my first ever visit here. Beautiful trees, beautiful picnic area. Kids loved the beach and the people were nice.

Went out swimming here this weekend after we tried MilleLacs and realized that was to gross for my kids!! Water was nice (a little green weeds/slime.. however it’s a lake🙃).. sand was nice and clean, nice little dock. Perfect area for my small toddlers!

Lum park is a great place to go for many reasons. The first one I can think of is there usually isn't many people there. As for the people that are there, they tend to spread out giving everybody enough space. They have a frolf course and camper camping. They also do have a small beach, fishing pier, and boat launch. Great place for the whole family.

Nicely spaced out with plenty of picnic tables/places to sit and watch the kids play or look at the lake. Stopped while driving through town. The small kids' playground areas could use a little updating but overall it's does the job for kids 10years and younger to run around and climb for a short period of time, maybe older kids who like to climb on the monkey bars would still enjoy it. Bathrooms could also use some updating but it's functional and was as clean as could be. Hand dryers to avoid paper towel trash all over.

We camped here for the weekend. It's a really nice area and has a decent beach. We were disappointed that they don't spray for mosquitos. They were so bad we couldn't have a fire or hang out outside of our camper at all! They also don't recycle which was a huge disappointment! I would recommend just visiting the park but not camping here.

Nice park. Good for birthday parties or gatherings. I love the frisbee golf course! The beach/swimming area is kind of iffy.. the beach tends to have sticks or other debris at times. The lake water can be pretty gross as well. Overall, it's a decent place, though

We had to reroute our plans and found this gem on RV Parky camping app. There's only 16 sites but they are very level, the area is very clean, grassy and a lovely spot to spend a night or two. I didn't go into the city park itself but there were a number of people playing disc golf. We saw a nice swimming lake, a few huge covered pavilions. Very enjoyable stay. You need a key to use the bathroom, which we did not need. It would have been placed in a baggie on your site when you arrived. I called the number listed, it was an easy way to reserve a spot.

Lum Park is awesome! There is so much space if you want to have a picnic. There is play ground equipment spread throughout. They have multiple docks to fish from and a great swimming beach. If you’re looking for a place to have a family outing it’s the place to go. Plus I got to see some locals using the water ski jump in the lake at the park which was cool.

Depending on the time of year, the park is poorly taken care of in the winter. Summer there are very few camp spots. The river backwash lake is very dirty...swimmers itch! About 20 acres of nice park though.

Very little campground with nothing to do. Beach area disgusting with lots of weeds. On top of the overly priced nightly rate there's also a $5 dumping fee. Also make sure to bring cash or check because they have no park office and expect you to pay with an envelope. Very early check out time as well. Very disappointed. Will not be coming back.

It's just a very quiet place to go and relax outdoors for a lot of different reasons can't really say anything bad about Lum Park recommend to anyone that wants to picnic, have a private conversation with anyone, bring the kids to a park and/or swimming, or just be outdoors!!

Stayed at the campground. Super cheap rates due to being off-season ($25/night) and the check-in process was great - the host just left the information in a zip lock bag on the site post and paid with cash in a lock-box. Love it! Hope to stop again!

We used to love this park, especially the beach but this year they completely stopped maintaining the beach so its totally filled in with disgusting green slime and over grown with weeds making it 100% unusable. You'd think with it having the resort/camping right there that they would want to keep up the beach to draw in more campers. So if your planning to camp here and be able to swim you should plan to drive 20 minutes or better to get to a beach that's usable on the hot humid days like today.

Great place to take kids! They can go swim, fish, or play on safe playground equipment! And it's a safe location!

If you're looking for a fun park to take your kids to play, this park is not it. Many other parks in town with much better playground equipment. There is lots of grassy area to run around, fishing off the dock (not sure how good it is, I've just seen other people doing it), swimming if you don't mind tons of weeds. Good place for groups, there are shelters with picnic tables and plenty of room. Good place to launch your boat to get on the Mississippi.

Very nice well maintained park. Not a lot of paved walk ways. Plenty of picnic tables. Small playgrounds. Pier. Grilling. Restrooms. RV camping.
