A museum that you have to visit!

Lovingly compiled oil paintings and other maritime antiques, fish bones, travel utensils and great explanations via headphones and tapes, also interesting for teenagers who usually don't go to the museum

Small,nothing interesting.

All of the exhibits that are on display there are of older vintage (before 1900). I would have liked a little more technology and other things from newer vintages, which I can identify with much better as a former driver😊

Great museum in three locations, we liked the house in Elsfleth best, the history of shipbuilding is also best presented here using the toolboxes of former boat builders. The other locations are rather old-fashioned in terms of museum education and largely line up exhibits without any explanation. Still recommended if you are in the region!
