Located directly next to the river Weser, great view. The service is not only polite but also funny and welcoming. The food looks great and tastes wonderful. Especially the goat cheese was far beyond supermarket quality, served with whole-wheat bread. I recommend.

Rooms are nice. A bit hot at night but cannot really complain about anything. Breakfast with a view on the weser. Food seemed good. Staff is friendly. Decided to add a star to the review. One very annoying thing: tv in the room talks (audio descriptive setting of sorts) every time a button on the remote is pressed. Extremely annoying and could not find the option to disable it. Plus has not internet so no Netflix or YouTube. Considering Brake is not the most lively town in the evenings, i found myself bored to death by 8PM

We tried different fish dishes, all delicious. Great services, staff was kind, very pleasant location, right by waterside. Maybe prices were a bit high (close to 20 euro per serving)

Quiet and comfortable hotel with always friendly owner and staff. Request for a room facing the Weser and enjoy the sunrise. Good breakfast with 80s music playing in the background

Nice room, good view over the river, good breakfast, their would be a little to improve (quiet old fashioned Muzak type of music) but this is more a question of taste that might others estimate differently, beneath that it is pretty central with a little village center in more lonesome area, the best from all things (restaurants, landscape not far ...), my recommendation

Nice location, spacious modern rooms and nice breakfast that I found quite different from what you can usually get in other hotels (the view at the river helps too!). Staff was friendly.

It's a beautiful cozy Hotel near Brake's port. It has beautiful views. I just find that Supermarkts are not near but for the rest it's a nice place to stay in.

Excellent family run hotel on the bank of the river Weser, best of the hotels on the trip I made. Friendly service on all levels and a very nice quiet room with a view of the river. The room was clean and comfortable with nice woodwork around. There was a small desk and a large TV. The bathroom was very clean and tidy. Being on the side of the river I could watch the ships pass of which most at the time were sailing boats like a tall ship that I watched passing. The breakfast buffet was nice with many nice and tasty choices and they can serve any kind of eggs that you want with that. At times the hotel organises special events like breakfast for many for which people book on line and attracts many. The website of the hotel gives more information on that and advanced booking is required. The restaurant of the hotel serves good food and weather permitting you can sit outside. The small town of Brake has an interesting history and the old part has many beautiful 19th century buildings of ship chandlers of which are some still active in town. Next to the hotel is a small park from which a foot passenger and cyclist ferry connects to the other side of the river with a regular service. Also next door is a shipping museum and a tourist information centre. All-in-all a good stop any way you are travelling

Good hotel with nice owners, tasty breakfast.

The hotel is 10-15 minutes walking distance from the port, really convenient. Small rooms but clean, basic breakfast.

Rooms slighly cold , the heating should be improved for that kind of price. Location is great however.
