It has been nearly two months since my refractive lens exchange procedure in Prague. I could not be more pleased with the overall experience and the results. From my first online inquiries to Praga Medica in 2020 to the final check up after my second surgery in July 2021, everyone on their team was thoroughly professional and efficient , while at the same time personable and responsive. The accommodations in Prague were first rate with just a short walk to the clinic. Finally, after 50 years of wearing glasses and dealing with contact lenses, I am now free. I cannot praise Praga Medical enough, from my first contact to walking out of their doors after my second eye surgery. The professional and curtious staff were absolutely first class. The skill and dedication of their surgeon was outstanding. If anyone is considering lens replacement surgery this has to be your first call. My eyesight was terrible, thick glasses and astigmatism, I'm 59 and genuinely wish I knew about this place years ago, and it is a fraction of the cost in the UK. About 1 year ago, I had a routine eye test and was diagnosed with a cataract in my right eye. A leading UK provider who claimed to offer a solution "from" £2000 (on their website) eventually quoted me £4300 for lens replacement in the one eye. PragaMedica/Neovize offer a fixed price shopping list of treatments, and 1 ended up having lens replacement in both eyes for around £3000. This is obviously great value for any Brit, but possibly more important to anyone reading this is that everything about the experience was first class. My dealings with Rita were fantastic: an incredibly helpful professional who arranged everything in the finest detail from a pick up at the airport, a guide/interpreter for my first day of medical tests and even my departing PCR test for free. The staff at the clinic were fabulous and, of course, the treatment went very smoothly and I am typing this without glasses. Last point - for those of you who may be squeamish about treatment on your precious eyes - don't be. You don't see or feel anything during the procedure, and the next day you have practically perfect vision in that eye. As I said, since going back to work after only 5 days, I haven't needed to wear glasses.

Slow and unprofessional communication. How can I possibly make a decision on whether I want to travel to Prague repeatedly for an undetermined amount of time, with ZERO INFORMATION provided to me on the nature or cost of treatment?? Please use your brain.

I just returned to the UK from Prague on Saturday 24th July 2021 having spent six days having trifocal replacement lenses fitted. The whole experience could not have been better. All questions and worries were well dealt before and during my visit by Romana who was my contact. The procedures were excellent and professional and at this stage I am very happy with my vision. I no longer need to wear glasses for either distance or reading. I was met at the airport and taken to the Panama Hotel which was also excellent and escorted to the clinic on the first day, a five minute walk. I have been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old and I have been dreaming of having laser surgery for as long as I can remember. I don't regret choosing PRAGA MEDICA. The total cost of the procedure, including flights and hotel, was less than half of what it would have been in London. They are very honest, and there are no hidden costs! I had the surgery, and on the same day, I was already seeing much better than ever! It has been 3 weeks since the surgery and my vision is already 20/20. My husband is now coming back to do as well.

After reading all the reviews on Trust pilot I took the leap and booked my gastric sleeve surgery (end of June 2022). Through email, everything was arranged in English and my mind was at ease. My flight was delayed which meant I reached the hospital later than expected. I had my blood and blood pressure taken but there was no time for an x-ray like others had. On the morning of the operation the surgeon came to visit and reassure me. The problems started after surgery. It became very apparent that the only words the staff knew were 'pain' and 'sleep'. I tried to use a translator app, but some staff just shook their head. I was concerned about the stitches on my largest wound but these concerns were brushed aside several times on different days. I was given no actual instructions on wound care. At the bottom of my discharge paper, it just said 'sticks out 10 day'. Which I assume meant stitches. When I arrived home I felt awful and my wound had started leaking. A trip to A&E confirmed that it was infected and I needed a week of antibiotics. I had to visit the wound clinic several times as I now had a 2.4cm wide and 2.7cm deep hole in my abdomen. A CT scan confirmed I had a fistula (a surgical complication). I contacted the clinic several times for advice and no real help could be given. It took a while to get my surgical notes and they just kept saying why have you not spoken to our surgeon? But what could the surgeon have done from a different country when he had already told me nothing was wrong? Aftercare has a lot to be desired. I have friends who went to a different country and were given liquid vitamins, 6 months of stomach protectors etc. When I enquired at this clinic they said the doctor doesn't believe in liquid vitamins, you should get them from your food. This is challenging when you are on a liquid-only diet. I feel that some of these complications could have been avoided with better aftercare or better communication. The surgery has worked which is why I have given 3 stars but if I was to do it again I would go elsewhere. And to preempt the standard response. My profile has my married name so it won't match your records. You have at least 20 emails to Brigita and I have been to the clinic very recently so this is an up to date response.

I had a new lense done for cataracts in Praga Medica and it was a wonderful experience. Adam who I was in contact with organised everything. From collecting us from airport to organising the hotel. He was there at the end of the phone for any problem. I was just so mad with myself that I didn't get my two eyes done at the time as I will be heading over soon for the other eye. I would recommend them very strongly as it is so expensive here in Ireland.

Amazing dentist, I highly recommend it even for challenging dental situations. Includes great care with the esthetics. It is easy to communicate with the clinic which is accessible even with public transportation direct from the airport.

I’ve used Praga Medica on two occasions now and was happy with NeoVision the company they use to do the surgery. This time round it’s been a very unsettling and concerning experience!! Phone calls from taxi coming on the wrong days. Praga Medica (Daniella) wrong addresses for the Accomadation even after 3 emails confirming this!! Still got it wrong. Day of surgery of my 21 year old scared daughter was not seen by (Clara) who was then taken for surgery with having any idea what was happening and Clara was to busy with another client when I eventually tracked her down her attitude was awful…… I paid for a service from Praga media and this time round it’s been a shocking service and quite frankly I wound not recommend them to anyone again. Sorry to post this type of review but I’m very angry how we have been treated.

I had a lasik with Praga Medica two months ago, and my experience was amazing. All staff were really helpful. Finally I ride off my glasses after 20 years. I’m really happy to made all the way from Ireland to Prague.

Absolutely terrified before I got there, wow what an experience, both eyes done and absolutely 1 week later no discomfort or anything. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Romana organised my eye surgery for me, i chose to use there sister clinic at Bratislava and they even sent a translator who was very pleasant too. I now have new tri focal lenses and 20/20 vision. I am that impressed that i have re booked with them to have 8 new veneers at there dentistry department in Prague.

From first contacting the agency, all the way through the organisational stuff + my 1000s of questions, to the successful surgery, including personal handholding, comforting, hot coffee supply + extremely kind support all the way. Recently had eye lens replacement surgery at the clinic in Prague. All the staff were very professional and courteous, appointments were on time and the procedures carried out very efficiently. I took advice on the hotel to use from Marie in the office, turns out it was only a few minutes walk from the clinic, clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone thinking of eye surgery to contact Praga Medica.

The service from Praga Medica and Neo Vize was amazing. I was worried coming from the uk, but I needn’t have been. The translators were so helpful and the staff generally spoke great English. Overall the whole procedure and trip couldn’t have been any better.

From my initial contact with Lucie to my new tooth everything was excellent. Lucie and Dr Jandová are a great team. To have a new tooth fitted in three hours was new to me, and so easy.

Although very early days yet, ( 2wks) so far I am extremely happy with the results from the lens replacements, I have much improved vision, my eyes appear to be healing quickly and well with minimal side effects other than the expected normal healing processes. the staff at the clinic were very professional, friendly and thorough in every way, and I had every confidence in them. From my Initial contact through to my return home Prada Medica were very professional, courteous and helpful, arranging everything from hotel transfers to my accommodation, I chose (Panorama Hotel) which was of a high standard indeed with helpful staff and literally just a few steps (5mins) from the clinic itself, making life so much easier. There was also a large very useful shopping mall right opposite the hotel and you can access Prague metro trains directly from inside the mall, another great bonus. especially if your 65 as you can travel around Prague on trams, trains and buses free (take your passport for proof of age) I cannot praise Praga medica, the staff and surgeon at the clinic and even the hotel staff highly enough, I am so glad I decided to have this procedure and if you are thinking about having the same you will do no better than to go with Praga Medica. The procedure itself was quick and painless and the operated eye has to be covered just on the day of the procedure, which means you can easily walk back to your hotel afterwards. My partner had very successful lens replacement in Prague at the start of Sept with Praga Medica. So much so l wanted it too. Rita was amazing at sorting out an appointment at short notice in Bratislava. I went and had all of the tests, sadly I am not a good candidate for the procedure. I was really pleased with the fact that Rita set it up so fast and also that they rejected me.... at least it shows true professionalism, it cost them €3000 in lost business 😉. My only suggestion is that people check they are suitable in their home country before booking to travel overseas. It didn't cost us much in extra travel to find out I was a no-go but it could have been a costly eye test.

praga medica helped me to get the dates of surgery convenient for me to fly from England . the best part I like is that everything was already organised for me from the moment that I arrived at the airport until departure . they got me a nice hotel just a few minutes walk from the eye clinic and they had a nice staff member to meet me at the clinic every day . we were very satisfied with the service and my wife hopes to be able to return with me and receive the same outcome for herself next year .

They take care of everything, from airport pick up/drop off, hotel accommodation and also supply English speaking translators to attend your meetings and assist where requested. You initially book treatment and work with a specialist coordinator for the process set up and direction throughout the time spent in Prague, and I can say I was very impressed with the prompt and detailed service I received from my Coordinator Daniela, whom I would not hesitate to contact when I require further services from Praga Medica. My experience with the NeoLasik HD surgery at Neovize clinic was excellent. The comprehensive eye examination provided reassurance about my eligibility for the operation, despite having high diopters. The procedure itself was remarkably swift, lasting no more than 15 minutes. The clinic's use of high-tech laser machinery ensured a painless and efficient process. The clinic’s staff was professional, polite and addressed all my inquiries. After the operation, I was given a certificate of surgery completion, a photo taken right after the surgery, as well as all the necessary medication. I highly recommend NeoVize for anyone considering laser eye surgery.

This is just a front for foreigners, as they work together with Neo Vision. They are friendly in their communication to charm you, but they are very disorganized and slow to react. When I went for my eye surgery, on the day itself, they provided me with the wrong address! Ending up on the other side of Prague!

I had lens replacement in both eyes. It has been 3 weeks since I returned and everything is as expected. I would recommend this supplier and I wish I had done this years ago!

I had lens replacement treatment at Neovize in Prague at the beginning of September 2021. The whole thing was brokered by Praga Medica and they did a brilliant job of answering questions, supplying translators and generally keeping the process moving. Once at the clinic the service was excellent. When I say the whole thing was brokered by Praga Medica I should say Rita, she was amazing. And I shouldn't forget Jiri (aka George) the translator who was very calming and confident. I'd give Rita 6 stars on her own.

I had the ReLeX SMILE (minimally invasive LASIK) surgery last month in Prague through Praga Medica. My experience was very good, they took care of everything. The clinic and facilities were state-of-art, and the doctors and checkups (both before and after the surgery) were thorough. At all times, someone from Praga Medica was around to help with coordination and translation/interpretation. I had to be in Prague for about 2.5 days: Day1 - pre-op exam, Day2 - surgery, Day3: post-op checkup. Now, a month later, I am happy to have got the surgery done, and would highly recommend Praga Medica for their services.

I would definitely recommend Praga Medica. They have been so professional from start to finish.. They offer a 5***** service from.leaving your country to returning to your country. We have used Praha Medica twice before for my boyfriend and his son and never had a problem with this company. Unfortunately this time was not as good an experience . Daniela, our organiser couldn’t be anymore clueless! 3 times we were asked for the flight details and 3 times she sent out the itinerary, for her to then organise the airport pick up a whole week before we were due to arrive! Not only did she get this wrong, but when we did get out airport transfer, the driver had the wrong drop off address as well as no flight details, so he never knew our flight had been delayed 1 hour. When we tried to tell her she had the wrong address, she then sent another cab to our apartment that night! Who knows why. The whole thing has been a shambles from day one. Even on surgery day, a praga medica member is supposed to be there for translation, we sat for a whole hour with no one come to us, having to figure out forms on our own (this is for the actual surgery!) We feel very disappointed this time round, and honestly couldn’t have happened to. More nervous patient. Let’s hope we get home ok!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I had dental work done here and I've NEVER been so impressed with a service in my life! It started with me contacting the office and a lovely, well informed young woman named Lucie helped me with everything. She worked really hard to get me in during the Christmas period on very short notice, but she managed it. She was constantly in contact keeping me updated on everything. The practice was easy to get to, a 15 minute number 9 tram from central Prague. The offices were modern, clean, bright and welcoming. The dentist too was very warm and highly skilled, she did a wonderful job on the 4 veneers and 1 crown I had done. They use a Cerec system, which works similarly to a 3d printer. She scans your teeth (no horrible, messy plate mold and refitting), then sends this to the machine, which then creates your teeth in front of you. Because of this system she was able to do the crown and 4 veneers in 2.5 hours, and they were a perfect fit. And the cost for all this (plus xrays and check up) was £1500, that's about 2 veneers in the UK. My husband had a check up to see if he needed anything done and she said no, his teeth were fine. No up selling or trying to get more work. They were so good we're trying to see if we can go here for our check ups every year! No awkwardness, surprises or upsell. We were both impressed and happy with the service we received.

Here is a timeline of my correspondence. 6th July - Emailed to say I was worried about stitches 7th July - I visited A&E who confirmed infection. I emailed your company again to ask about post op care. 8th July - email correspondence with your company again about the entire stay in hospital + follow up questions 12th July - Informed clinic that I had asked about wound 3 times whilst there. I then sent wound photos as requested for the surgeon to look at. 13th July - Answered follow-up questions and had a reply. Still no response from the surgeon who was on holiday. 24th July - Formally requested medical records. 27th July - Formally requested medical records again as I needed to give them to my medical team in the UK. Travelled here for lens exchange from London. Went for a day pre examination in September and then for four days in November. Everything was very efficient and no-fuss. The results amazing.

I would highly recommend Praga Medica - the service, standards, and expertise are second to none. Everyone is very caring and helpful and very organised. Everything is explained in perfect English. What surprised me the most is that I had no pain during the lens replacement procedure and absolutely no pain or even any discomfort after!

I just returned from Prague after having Lens replacement surgery, I found the whole experience with praga Medica faultless, they were very thorough with all the tests and medical examination, I had both eyes done, due to me not being able to use my glasses anymore and having blurry vision after my second eye surgery I Misread the last day check up, it was Saturday at 8.55 I read it as 2.55 because the cross line on the 8 was very faint, they were closed when I got there and had a morning flight the next day (Sunday) so they were closed. However I’m doing exactly what they told me to do, I’m using both the drops provided and also bought Dry eyes drops. My vision has improved and seems to change on a daily basis, sometimes clear and wobbly and sometimes a bit blurry, I also have thin black crescents around the outside of my eyes, I’m told this is the edge of the new lenses, my eyes will never be 20/20 due to the lazy eye I’ve had since I was a child, I’m 51 now, but my eyes have improved with distance and midrange, before if I wanted to read a menu I would have to hold it a inch away from my eye without glasses but I can also now read one at arms length, my overall experience was very good, lovely staff that helped me. I had LASIK with PragaMedica three weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier. From my initial enquiry, my email correspondence with Marie was prompt and helpful. On arrival at the clinic, I was met by a representative who talked me through the pre-operative process and accompanied me throughout. The majority of the staff spoke excellent English, and when they didn’t, my representative translated. The pre-op testing was very thorough, I was in the clinic for about three hours. On the day of the surgery I was accompanied once again and looked after by very friendly staff. Although I was nervous, the surgery itself was quick and painless. On the day of discharge, I was examined and told I now have 20.20 vision. For the first two weeks, I experienced some discomfort and dry/tired eyes, this was helped by the drops provided. Three weeks on, this is much improved and my vision is excellent. I highly recommend this clinic, if you are unsure about booking, rest assured that it is the right decision. I have recommended the clinic to family members. I was quoted double the price for the same surgery in the UK and I am very glad I chose PragaMedica.
