Wow! I've been on many a free walking tours, but this is one of the tops for sure! Rastislav is energetic, entertaining, and full of hilarious anecdotes about Bratislava and Slovakia. The route is exciting and even a bit challenging at times. Once we got to the top of the hill, he had an excellent Slovakian gift for us :D Overall, I learned a lot about the history and tales of Slovakia's capital. The tour lasted over 3 hours but the time flew by. Great work, and I would love to come back to Slovakia some day!

I absolutely loved this tour. Our guide was incredible, he knew a huge amount of information not only about Bratislava and Slovakia, but all of the surrounding countries! His facts and fun stories made us all laugh, and I learnt an enormous amount of historical, political, and social information about the country. The tour was extremely relevant, up-to-date, and provided wonderful insight to a beautiful country. The tour was long, over 3 hours, and I can think of no better way to spend a day in Bratislava. This is the best tour to pick. Thank you so much Rastislav for such a personal, entertaining, and enjoyable day!

I had wonderful time on this walking tour. Rastislav showed me and our group a lot more than I expected, I heard so many interesting stories about Bratislava, people living here, history, legends, everything. I would recommend this tour, Rastislav is super friendly, nice and fun. Tour was way above all my expectations. Best walking tour I have ever been to :)

Our guide, Rastislav, was very engaging, knowledgeable and fun. It’s amazing how much better he was comparing to our other experiences with city guides. He truly has passion for his craft.

5-star experience! 😊 Our guide, Ruger, went above and beyond to make sure the walking tour was enjoyable for the group, despite the weather. We covered much of Bratislava's highlights including the Old Town & castle. Would recommend for anyone visiting the city. Thanks to Ruger!

This tour absolutely exceeded our expectations. We learned so much about Bratislava and Rastislav had us completely engaged from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a more passionate, fun, and knowledgeable guide. Our only regret is not booking in more time to experience this incredible country, particularly after the stories and hints and tips Rastislav shared with us. Special shout out for the Easter Whipping bonus!!! If your travel is flexible, I recommend you do this tour on your first day in Bratislava and make your future travel plans after that. I'll almost guarantee you'll want to spend a lot more time in this fantastic place.

If you're looking for an immersive and personal view into the history of Bratislava and Slovakia while taking in the local views, THIS is the tour for you. Chiara was an outstanding guide and did such a wonderful job of explaining the different aspects of live in Bratislava. I never felt rushed or like we were going to slowly; the pace was perfect for me. Chiara knows her stuff, too; there were so many little details about all the beautiful architecture that I never would have noticed if it weren't for Chiara's guidance and knowledge. The tour book with photos and depictions of old Bratislava was a wonderful touch, as it allowed me to have a Before and After view of so many different areas around town. The price was super affordable for what you get - it's a great value overall. If you are ever lucky enough to visit Bratislava and you're looking for a walking tour option, don't miss out on this opportunity.

Our walking Guru, Ruger is absolutely great guy who will make your day! He shared those gems which are not easy to discover, customized our walk with bonus and absolutely passionate about Slovakia. You have no option but to fall in love with the country and Slovaks. Ruger made our tour special with many bonuses that I saw for the first time and your are in for treat with him. Greatest is deal is to taste the rare rum 😀

Hands down, this is by far the best walking tour I ever had. The tour guide, Guga, was personal, funny, and knowledgeable. He made our day trip to Brastilava the highlight of our entire Europe trip. My 9 year old son was intrigued with every details Guga shared during the tour. He covered the history, architecture, culture and food. He went above and beyond. The “bonus” toward the end of trip was a nice surprise!

An Outstanding Tour - Rastislav is very knowledgeable, a great storyteller and has you captivated for nearly 3 hours - lots of surprises and bonuses along the way. He is passionate about Bratislava, but coming from the mountains is able to share many Slovakian traditions. We had an amazing time (husband, 15 year old daughter and myself). Definitely worth doing at the start of a trip as he also shares lots of tips and recommendations. Can’t thank him enough.

Great tour! Ratislav is extremely knowledgable, entertaining and also extremely passionate about his country. Within the tour, you will learn a lot about Bratislava’s history and politics, and also some great places to visit, including bars and restaurants. We did the tour at the start of our stay and really glad we did. We followed most of his recommendations for places to visit and really enjoyed. Great value for money, would highly recommend!

Our guide, Ruger, was amazing - despite the unlucky rainy weather, he made sure everyone in the group was comfortable. It was a really enjoyable, informative, fun trip to get to know Bratislava. Highly recommend and thanks so much to Ruger!!!

Me and my friend had Ratislav as a tourguide for the Advanced experience with bonus tour. It was our first time in Slovakia - Bratislava and he shared so many great insights not just about the sights, but also about the customs and current events regarding Slovakish food culture etc. The tour was one of the best tours I ever has and I had many experiences with free walking tours. His narration and hospitality was excellent and I am now even more excited to return back to this lovely country Slovakia to learn more about its rich culture and people. Thank you so much Ratislav for sharing so much and even extended the guide a bit longer to answer our questions.

We went from just making the trip from Vienna to check another country off our list to actively planning our next visit. Rastislav was a great communicator from the get go, and his personal touch and stories transformed the tour into what felt like an informative fun day out with a friend. His stories, attention to detail, and even fun tips to frame our photos made all the difference. What a fabulous experience and value!

I’ve been on many walking tours in my time and Rastislav is by far the most informative, friendly and interesting guide I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! He asked the group a few questions at the start of the tour such as what sort of food/drink we liked what we enjoyed doing and how long we were in Bratislava and catered the tour to us. He pointed out the littlest details of the town that you might walk straight past and gave insightful and entertaining stories and details; pointing out recommendations for us to do later and including personal anecdotes as well as Slovak history and traditions! We were genuinely upset when the tour had to come to an end!

My partner and I were on the fence about going because we're not huge drinkers, but going was the best decision we made in Bratislava. It was the best thing we did - by far! Rastislav did such a great job with this tour, and really personalized it based on what our group wanted. He's very personable, and we quickly got to know everyone in the group thanks to his ice breakers. He also had great stories to tell himself! It didn't feel like drinking with strangers, but with friends :). We ended up staying out later than we anticipated because we were having so much fun! Hidden gems, lots of fun & surprises, and great value too. Highly recommend this tour if you have free evening!

Rastislav is the most passionate and prepared walking tour guides I’ve ever followed around a city. He showed us Bratislav in 2.5 hours as a gifted conductor leads his orchestra, or a chess master strikes at the heart of important positions. He is a master storyteller with a vision for how his clients will best enjoy his beloved Bratislava. Rastislav is not to be missed.
