Very clean hostel located in the very centre of Bratislava old town. I would definitely recommend for everyone. Rooms are either private or if you are more "budget " you can stay in 2 or 3 ( or more ) person room. There is a free wifi, clean toilets/bathrooms. Excellent living room with free tea/ coffee for everyone. Also clean kitchen. Reception manager very professional, multilingual. Please see pictures of this hostel and its location.

Iam soo impressed by the hostel. It's a 4 star hotel like experience in hostel. The whole property is very modernized. There is a big social room with coffee, tea available, washing machine service with dryer also available. It's right in the heart of the city centre, the tram is just below the hotel. Tons of grocery and eating joints, restaurants nearby. Very lively area!! Easy check in, very clean rooms and whole property is very well maintained!! Even the kitchen is equipped with all latest technology.. There is a 24/7 security guard room so very much secured place ! There is a lift also to the 1st floor. If you're with a bike, you can also park inside the hostel. The owner, Rado is the best host I ever met! He is Very supportive, hospitable, friendly and informative. I didn't except this exceptional service at such economical price! A definite recommended stay in Bratislava!!

Hostel is easy to find. Take Tram 1 from the train station, the sThetop is about a half block away. Shared kitchen space with large common room and shared toilet and showers. Limited reception hours, but I was able to leave my luggage and get lunch and do some exploring before returning to check in. Limited but sufficient English. Small hostel, I had limited interaction with other guests. Staff were friendly and helpful. A very short walk to Old Town and the Christmas Markets. The hostel is located on the first floor of an office building with closed circuit TV and a staffed security desk located on the ground floor by the street entrance.

Please consider before booking and going. Let’s start saying that if you go to an hostel, you gotta be open minded - no one is discussing about this. The main problem of this hostel - apart the smelly stairs and the uncomfortable pillows - is that it is at the city center and basically you can hear the noise from the outside world, which means clubs, drunk people, police and cars. The windows are useless and if you struggle to sleep, you will have the worst night ever - same as mine. The hostel provides the hear plugs but it was pointless. In addition, the tram passes exactly below the windows and the whole building shakes while you can hear the noise of it. So, nothing against the hostel on its own and the idea of staying in an hostel, but it is very noisy. Don’t waste you energy.

One of my favorite hostels I've stayed in. Very clean and well kept, unbeatable location, great wifi, very nice staff, and much quieter than other hostels in Bratislava. Highly recommend, and I'll be back!

Near the old town Liked · 1. Room was good, with lot of natural light as well as the lamp were good. 2. Location is awesome, a perfect 10. Next to presidential palace, everything in the old town is in walking distance, Musical tiles, Michele's Gate are near by. 3. Toilet was clean. 4. Staff were super cool, friendly and helpful. Gave us nice tips about drinking Kofola 5. Well equipped kitchen were there with a fridge. 6. Nice common room, with free coffee, milk, tea, sugar were there. 7. Well equipped kitchen were there. 8. Lot of food options near by. Disliked · 1. Website showed breakfast included but later updated and showed no breakfast. Only free coffee, milk, tea, sugar were there. 2. A wash basin in the room would have been good. 3. Better to have sound proof window as it is next to the main tram line.

Overall an okay stay for one night but not a place I’d want to stay longer. Its location is great but the proximity to tram lines means light sleepers like myself are gonna have a bad time (even with ear plugs). When I arrived at around 2 pm there was nobody at reception until someone showed up about an hour to an hour and a half later. Not a big deal but if I were in a rush it would have been a nuisance. As far as I could tell there were only two showers, two toilets, and one urinal shared by all the male guests, so you sometimes have to wait to use the bathroom. Free coffee was nice though, as was the lounge for hanging out. Rooms were clean and spacious.

I have been a Backpacker for a very long time and slept in hostels on every continent. I've learned over the years what I value the most - cleanness. This place was very clean, with a nice spacious common area where people can talk and connect. With it's central location your in the very heart of Bratislava and get easily to all points of attraction. Thank you Radko for the Hospitality in your Hostel!

The receptionist was really friendly and handled my booking process professionally and smoothly. Also suggested hidden gems and free tour in Bratislava. The room was decent. The only complain was the toilet bowl is somehow very small. The community room was amazing too. Free coffee, kettle and ps4 were provided. Such an amazing place to stay

The hostel was very clean and has a brilliant common space! Great shower facilities and secure lockers. The location is excellent and is right in the centre of town, very close to all the attractions and sights. My criticisms would be that the bed was a bit hard and there was a noisy heater in the dorm I slept in (albeit my ear plugs muffled this).

I love Slovakia because of Hostel Folks. It is so great and clean place to stay. The staff is so nice and kind. I visited Bratislava in 2019. Thanks Slovakia donates 10,000 Covid-19 vaccines to Taiwan. Taiwanese appreciate your government a lot. I hope I could visit your city and this wonderful hostel soon in the future after Covid-19.

Actually, the rooms used to be office rooms without heating. Heating works only in shower room. Room is frigid. The worst thing is that the quilt is so much thin, just like what you use in summer. How can such many positive reviews come? I have never had that bad experience.

Hostel Folks is the perfect place to stay in Bratislava. I stayed at the hostel during a week with my father, and the cleanliness of the facilities, the politeness of the staff and the strategic position really helped us enjoying the city during day and night. Rado made us feel at home since the first day, thanks to his advices and help (also allowing us to park the car inside - extremely useful if you arrived in the area with your own vehicle). I will stay here longer, and I would suggest the hostel to anyone visiting BTS!

Good reception Beds are not wide and relaxed. A locker for every bed which is good. Shared Showers not enough.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Our rooms and the bathrooms were immaculately clean. There was a decent kitchen, and a very spacious sitting area. I appreciated that I could do laundry here. Location was right next to the center of town, and very easy to get to from the train station. Good wifi.

Nice hostel Positives: Nice, clean rooms Friendly and helpfull stuff Equipped kitchen Clean showers and WC Free tea and coffe Location in the city center Negatives: Due to location we can hear noises from the street One thing to remember, due to hostel location It is hard to find parking place. Most of them are reserved for locals. Hostel offers parking place for 10€, depending on your situation it can be a great choince.

The dorm rooms are very much spacious, comfortable and clean. Very convenient location with public transportation and in front of the entrance (gate) of the old town. Hostel has anything you may need. Comfortable living room (common room). So, it offers a pleasant and comfortable stay to the travellers.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at around Europe only thing I would suggest is the pillows are more sofas cushions than bed pillows and don’t fit in the pillowcase which strained my neck a bit but the guy on reception gave me an extra pillow and he is great!

Hostel has some potential, but it's just not really good yet. Dorm was a bit smelly, felt bland, there was to much light coming in and beds were very loud and creaky. Only one shower room with two showers, but people always lock it so in reality space for one person at a time. In general, it was clean and has a quiet atmosphere, but it lacks any personality. Location is good, staff was friendly but not always on site, which can make check-in a hassle. No locked storage area for bags after checking out - you can just leave them in the common room.

My friends and I have stayed there during the new years holidays. Our stay was great. The room was big and we had a lot of space. The staff was very friendly and they recommended us a lot of good locations to visit and to eat and drink at. The hostel is located right next to the old town and you can reach pretty much anything by walking for 5-10 minutes. They also offer fresh coffee pretty much at any time of day, and sometimes also fresh fruit. The only downside is that they only have two toilets, but you can survive just fine as is. I would totally recommend Hostel Folks if you plan to stay in Bratislava any time soon. 5/5 ☆.

Amazing hostel with such great service and atmosphere! Highly recommend coming here if you want to stay in the center of everything. They have a couple of private rooms if you want to share with a friend or couple. They have have a 6 bed dorm and an 8 bed dorm. They have 3 showers for each gender and 2 bathrooms for each gender. It was never a problem getting to use the bathroom or shower which is great. Everything is extremely clean! Sleep wise it is super comfortable with minimal to no noise heard in the room or outside. The windows are pretty much noise proof since you literally don’t hear anything. They have a kitchen and a super nice common area where a lot of people work from or just hang and watch tv. Lots of video games and books available if you want to read or play something. They have a selection of teas and coffee available all complimentary. This isn’t a party hostel which is great if that is something you aren’t looking for. Definitely on the chill side which we highly appreciated. You can meet people in the common area if you want though. The owner is extremely nice and knowledgeable. He let us borrow his charger since we didn’t have a converter. He also is very social and always willing to chat either about the city or just in general. Like I said in the beginning I highly recommend staying here!

Stayed there for two nights, was pleasantly surprised by the conditions and the service. I arrived at Bratislava outside of the check-in times but was easily able to contact the property for them to let me check in. In addition, they suggested some places to eat and places for sightseeing. There weren't a lot of people. The halls, common rooms, toilets, and showers were kept clean.
