Long story short 🙂: I had a couple of surgeries on both hip joints when I was one year old. Everything went well at that time, living with the thought that the problem was solved forever, enjoying the outdoor activities I wanted to do. But I was wrong. The day when I started feeling pain in my right hip joint which has also reflected on my walking mobility was the life challenge I didn't ask for. It was not the way I was imaging my life further, pills were not helping a lot, the only way out was the surgery (hip replacement). As I am not Slovak, at first it was hard for me to decide where to do it, here or go home, you know so many things to take into consideration including the care after surgery especially if you do not have any family member beside you. I did search on net and found this clinic which took my attention as potential one based on all the info and patient testimonials I read. Fortunately, the orthopedist MUDr. Jozef Vojtaššák, PhD who did all my examinations advised me that this is the clinic where he is performing the surgeries. And actually this was the decisive piece for my dilemma. Today, after 15 days from the successful surgery I am happy that I feel the difference and for this nice feeling I would like sincerely to thank MUDr. Jozef Vojtaššák, PhD for his professional and caring approach, for all his support, advises and answers to my million questions, to all nurses and physiotherapists from the Clinica Orthopedica and Spine Clinic for their unconditional care, patience, friendly approach and kindness who made my two weeks stay in the clinic like home.Looking back now, it was maybe fast but definitely right decision to make, not regretting at all, thankful and grateful to the whole medical team who has for sure overachieved my expectations. Life is beautiful, more beautiful without pain, pills, sleepless nights...Wishing you many other successful stories from your future patients, satisfied patients who will replace the pain with happiness and smile on their faces as I did and will continue to enjoy the life with an excitement, experiencing new safe, painless walking adventures. My wife had a serious knee injury, surgery seemed to be inescapable, but the doctor made the utmost to avoid it, excellent diagnostic, took time to look into it and decision taken to go the conservative way. Very good physiotherapy, follow up incl. MR and all well today. Big THANKS to the team!!

i splintered my collar bone in a bike accident , it broke in 7 different pieces , even the italian state hospital doctors werent sure if they can fix it properly . i went to this clinic , they operated on me monday afternoon , and i was walking home tuesday morning , beat up but feeling good , everyone said the recovery for injury like this takes months , but these people did such a good job that i was back on my dirtbike 21 days after the surgery and i was at least 30% already withing such a short period of time . the staff is absolutely amazing and the care they provided is top notch . the doctors sense of humor cracks me up , but its nice to have doc put a smile on your face while you broken and feeling down .

Clinica Orthopedica som si vybral už druhýkrát vďaka výbornej reputácii – ale tentokrát aj vzhľadom na moju predošlú veľmi pozitívnu skúsenosť. Pred pár týždňami som podstúpil operáciu už druhého bedrového kĺbu – pričom prvý som mal operovaný taktiež v tomto zariadení v roku 2019. Ako aj naposledy, som MAXIMÁLNE SPOKOJNÝ s tým, ako bola operácia prevedená a ako profesionálne a ľudsky pristupoval MUDr. Jakubík a celý tím pracovníkov (anesteziológ, vrchná sestra a ostatný personál) k mojej operácii a pobytu na klinike. Túto kliniku doporučujem každému, pretože tu pracujú najväčší profesionáli vo svojom odbore.

This clinic was a big disappointment. I'm not going to go into detail, but it's crazy how much money they'll take out of you and not really help you. Entrance examination €75, additional check-up €40 (and you are in the clinic for 5 minutes). I was at Mr. doctor, orthopedist, Vojtašák, who sent me for an MRI (€65) and practically didn't tell me anything about how to solve my problem. He sent me for rehabilitation at their sister clinic, Spine Clinic, but did not say what exact rehabilitation he was sending me to, that the staff of the rehab clinic would choose it for me. What was happening at their rehabilitation clinic was pure disaster and amateurism. The lady ordered physical therapy, which kept me in even more pain for a whole month, I couldn't even sleep without the orthosis. When I reported my condition to her and addressed my doubts as to whether this is a good procedure, she only replied: hmmm, I don't know why it hurts, and that was all. After a month of worsening condition, I was advised to stay in this type of rehabilitation, but I refused further torture. I looked for another orthopedist, I note, a state-run one for €0, who suggested a different type of rehabilitation and medication treatment and at the same time a visit to a surgeon, who also sent me for an MRI (paid by the insurance company) because the one they have here is of poor quality and the record of it he was weak and didn't show everything he should have. These two doctors really helped me and got me out of pain and it didn't cost me anything. The only plus of this clinic is the nice and clean environment. EDIT: I adjusted the indicated amounts to the correct amount, as they were wrong over time. But it doesn't change anything about the rest.

On January 24, 2024, I underwent surgery at the clinic. At the very beginning, I would like to highlight the work of the medical staff, which makes the stay at the clinic a pleasant experience, despite the fact that the operation is not a pleasant affair. I was extremely satisfied with the approach of the medical staff. They are extremely caring and pleasant. Thank you very much to Dr. Mráz, who is very caring, has a pleasant demeanor so much so that you won't mind at all that this anesthesiologist "Turns you off" :D of course for the needs of the operation. Last but not least, I thank Dr. Jakubík, who operated on me. I definitely recommend this clinic. Well thank you!

Presne pred 2 týždňami som absolvovala u Vás výmenu kolenného kĺbu. Týmto by som sa chcela poďakovať skvelému tímu či už na pooperačnej izbe JIS, či na oddelení za ľudský a empatický prístup, za každý úsmev a milé slovo, ktoré v ťažkých životných situáciách platí viacnásobne. Ale v prvom rade patrí veľká vďaka p. MUDR. Vojtaššákovi mladšiemu, ktorý odviedol perfektnú prácu, za jeho ľudský prístup a profesionalitu. Sestričky na oddelení Spine clinic vždy usmiate, starostlivé, kávička do postele a vôbec pocit, že tu ľuďom záleží na tom, aby ste sa mali lepšie, nepociťovali bolesti a rekonvalescencia prebehla čo najúspešnejšie. Môžem Vašu kliniku len doporučiť a ešte raz ďakujem celému tímu, už teraz - 14 dní po operácii cítim, že všetko funguje a konečne si môžem plánovať "bezbolestné" prechádzky so svojím synčekom, a celkovo vyhliadka na každodenný život bez bolesti sa už teraz zdá byť realitou. Vďaka!!!!!!!!

17.7.2023 som na tejto klinike podstúpil operáciu tep pravého kolena, chcem takto vysloviť veľkú vďaku MUDr. Michalovi Krajčovičovi a celému operačnému tímu za skvelú profesionálne odvedenú prácu. Je to paráda užívať si bezbolestné prechádzky s blízkymi, ktoré predtým neboli možné... Veľká vďaka patrí aj celému personálu kliniky - sestričkám, fyzioterapeutom a všetkým, ste veľmi milí a príjemní, aj vďaka vám táto klinika funguje perfektne ako dobre "namazaný stroj". Každému odporúčam a ďakujem.

Today I already know that with a repaired knee I will be able to continue playing sports and I am most pleased about that.
