We loved Zlaté Piesky when we visited Bratislava! It was quite hot during our trip, and everyday we came to the lake to cool down. After 5PM they have a reduced price for 2€ (normally 4€), so it’s pretty affordable. The snacks and drinks at the kiosks are also affordable. The water was cool, and it was not too too crowded when we were there. Definitely worth a trip if you’re needing to cool down!

🏖️ The biggest lake in Bratislava. 🏝️ There is an entrance fee around 3€. The area is big. There are parking lots, grill area, area for kids also you can do some activities. There are two beach bars and a place for ice cream. If you want to do sunbathing than you have to go to Zlate piesky.

The eastern beach of the lake remains open until sunset - sunny, where even naturalists can enjoy themselves. I don't see the point of going to a paid beach, which is without sunlight after four o'clock and, thanks to the number of children's attractions, is also full of children's screams.

The water is fine, but there are few parking spaces and it can be a bit noisy due to the highway and airport nearby. Playgrounds and some facilities such as toilets have been partially renovated or modernized. Some of the buildings probably date back to the 1970s and some are not in use. The entire area still seems very chaotically furnished in an Eastern Bloc style. At times you have the feeling of having traveled back in time, but that can also be quite interesting.

I been to this place just once a few days ago, the weather was very hot 🌡and I personally didn't like the paying part and I didn't understand why we are supposed to pay to visit a natural lake anyways, Since Bratislava doesn't have sea or ocean🌊,It has this beautiful lake where Chics come here to enjoy sun🌞 and get some tan, very beautiful indeed! The lake is clean and has natural shade where you can sit and enjoy beer.🍻

Clear water for swimming with a pebble bank. Unfortunately, some people drive almost to the water. Quiet and relaxing.

Nice place to spend a day or just a couple of hours, usually not too crowded in the afternoon. The food is ok too, there is a wide variety of typical beach food, like hot dog, corn, salads, etc. The lángos is not the best though, they make it thin and greasy. Great place for swimming, there is even a small island in the middle.

The entire green area is littered with condoms and condom wrappers, it’s just terrible, are there really no janitors in Bratislava?

The lake makes for a perfect swimming spot and summer activities. The beach around the lake is mostly covered in tiny rocks with a grassy surrounding. The location is perfect for summer sports and activities.

👍👍 A little lake in the east end of Bratislava. Not crowded, no tourists, crystal clear water. More option to reach the lake side. With a little bridge. If you’re hungry or thirsty a Koliba and a fast food truck is available. Parking is not as easy.
