We've been to almost all the aquariums here I Ireland and we're excited to visit Bray to see the aquarium. Two adults and one kid, €40.50 for the three of us. My advice? Don't waste your money. It is 100% not worth it. There is only really one exhibit of value (the large one with the two sharks) and nothing else. The rest of the exhibits... there aren't many. You can really do the whole aquarium in about thirty minutes and that's being generous. The staff were amazing. They provided some of the absolute best customer experience I've ever experienced in my four years here in Ireland. As I said, save your money and visit Galway or Dingle, cheaper, and you'll spend over 90 minutes to 2 hours in each and be dazzled!

It is a lovely place to visit on a rainy day. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They are also very good with kids. The aquarium is kept so clean and the animals look happy. There's a lot of information around to learn with children. I think it suits all ages from small children up to older ones. As an adult I enjoy it but I do find it quite over priced. With kids you probably spend more time there, but myself could easily get through it in 30 minutes and that's with me reading all information.

Its a nice place to visit but madly overpriced for what it is @€14 50 per adult and €11.50 per child. There aren't that many tanks and you can make your way around in 10minutes. Something to keep the kids entertained on a wet day. The staff are very good in that they involve visitors in the feeding of the animals and you can find them doing talks as you make your way around. FYI you have to book tickets online before you go. Don't rock up expecting to be able to get tickets there as you'll be told its digital purchase only!!! Sadly there's no kiosk there to purchase your tickets from, you will need to do it on your phone or from a PC before you leave home.

Sea Life Bray Aquarium has such a lovely variety of sea life and atmosphere! The tanks and quality of life that they provide for the animals is top class. There are so many exhibits, suitable for all ages. The staff was phenomenal when I went! They went the extra mile to provide information about the life that's there. Tickets are reasonable at €11 for kids and €14.50 for adults. They have a lovely gift shop as well. Definitely reccomend.

A brilliant yet albeit very small aquarium. If you’re bringing very young children don’t expect to be here long. Was slightly disappointed it took less than 10 minutes from start to finish however the staff were very friendly and helpful, and encouraged us to walk around as many times as we would like. I imagine with older children you may get more out of it if you’re able to do the tour and learn more about the beautiful sea life that lives here!

I am not happy at all with my visit to the aquarium. Facilities were not as clean as expected and animals such as rays and sharks didn't have big aquariums to move around. I was rather disappointed when after planning to visit this aquarium in advance and going to Bray on purpose to see sea animals, it just took us 20 minutes and I paid €28 for my daughter and myself. There are other aquariums in Europe where you pay a little bit more but you can enjoy it for hours. Then, I didn't see the staff were willing to answer questions. When we came in, many people were inside and we could hardly see animals as they (people) were pushing. Definitely, it isn't worth paying for it!

For what it is, and for the length of time in there the place is an absolute rip off. I can't lie. We brought 2 kids there and it was 54 euro for about a half and hour is there because we were finished within that length of time. Its not a place you'd spend the entire day. Now its nice, lots of fish and different species and of course they all need to be maintained and fed. But the premises is well over due an upgrade. Toilet seat was literally cellotaped together where a crack on the seat was. One tap didn't work and no paper towels in bathroom. Paint was peeling off alot of the place also. Too many staff too onnthe entrance standing around doing nothing. Staff Down in aquarium were lovely. Overall I probably won't be returning for a good few years anyway but kids had a nice time.

Small but very enjoyable. Due to the smaller size it is much easier to interact with staff (who are very friendly and approachable) to learn more about the various species they have. Very child friendly too. The gift shop had some nice unique bits on offer.

It's a good spot for kids to have fun and explore. I had been here with my partner, we found it to be not that amusing since we've been to bigger aquariums. Would recommend if you're stopping by for 30 minutes with your kids for a stroll around. Staff are really good & welcoming.

Nice place to visit with kids. My son loved looking at the fish and some other animals. We spent like an hour here. It's not very big but it's still very nice and it's a great thing to do when it's raining because it's all indoors. The staff is very nice and they know so much about the nice animals they have there. If you're lucky, you might see them feeding some of them.

Great place to go for a family or even for anyone who is interested in nature. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The first few displays are fresh water fish and the rest are salt water. Some of the species can be found in Irish waters including a extremely rare white lobster which was caught off the coast of galway. For me the highlight would have to be the stingrays, they seem to glide gracefully through the water. There is a gift shop available also with various bits and pieces.

Kid's enjoy it. It's a little small so take your time going through it otherwise your done in 10 minutes. It was quiet when we went. The kid's enjoyed seeing the fish especially the turtle's and rays.

Went recently as a date to relive some childhood memories, it was definitely fun and really nice to sea the fish! The employees were very informative and enthusiastic. I do remember it being a bit longer only spent around 30~40mins(including our fish watching) but had fun nonetheless!

Overall very enjoyable experience except for the fact that the whole experience lasts about 30 minutes which is not exactly worth the price which you need to pay for the entry. That is the only reason I give 4 stars and the actual viewing was thoroughly enjoyable.

Located on the promenade, the Aquarium is quite small but well worth a visit. You can only buy tickets online, so make sure you book in advance if it's busy. It's €13.30 for adults and €10.55 for kids, under 3's are free. The tour is one way, and consists of several larger rooms and smaller display cases. There are sharks, turtles and a rather chilled out octopus. The staff are very friendly, they even had time to tell our kids the names of the sharks and sting rays!

Great experience from beginning to end. We had our 3 babies with us, ages 6 , 3 and 2. They enjoyed the whole experience immensely. Rachel was absolutely fantastic with the the kids. She was so informative and had so much time for them. They are obsessed with her purple hair ever since haha The staff were even kind enough to bring Peppa out to meet them, which was amazing and an added bonus. Can't recommend this place enough. The exhibitions/attractions are great but Rachel and the staff made the experience memorable. Recommended to all.

The aquarium was smaller than I expected, but still offers a wide variety of marine life. Very nice place to spend time. Kids loved it, especially the sharks. The aquarium staff are friendly and takes great care of visitors, also shares information about inhabitants there.

Good place ok for 1 time visit, this will be shutting down by end of 2023. Visit it once good thing at their store they have a flat 50% off for all the products. They have very good stuff toys and are 50% off. They don't have bags so will suggest to bring your own bags as toys are very good and affordable at 50% off.

You cannot pay for entry in cash on site. Some aquariums were empty. Small place , I had a nice time for less than 15 minutes , I think the ticket price is too high for just a few minutes of viewing.

I have expected a bit more for the price i paid. Nice place but only 30 minutes of visiting

Staff here are fantastic and friendly, I brought a group from focus Ireland and they had a lovely experience, staff gave us a discount,we also had some talks along the way and got to see some fish and a shark being fed. Our focus customers had a great day, thank you very much to the staff at sea life.

Lovely, friendly staff. not many aquariums, some are empty...everything looks a bit dated and dirty, some aquariums are too small. In general, a maximum of 15 minutes for the entire review. If you want to see a shark, you are here)🙂

Quite a short walk around the place. But lots to be seen, with different aquatic life in various tanks. Great for all ages but particularly smaller children. The staff were friendly and took the time to talk about what was in the different tanks what they ate etc. I would recommend going. Try and look out for the coupons on the cereal boxes for 2 4 1 entry, this is what I did.

Amazing 🥳🐬 Fascinating fish with great tanks that allowed a great view. We were also lucky enough to be there while they were feeding the rays and the archer fish

It’s small and quite outdated, obviously requires some refurbishment. You can buy tickets online and it’s worth doing on weekends. There’s a shop with toys and books.

Had a lovely visit to this small aquarium with my husband, mother-in-law and 2 year old. Got one ticket free with Kelloggs voucher (book online in advance). Beautiful exhibits but could do with updating some areas (there were actually men there at the time measuring up the place for improvements). Nice interactives for my little one to get involved with. Staff were excellent, really helpful and informative but without being over the top. Gift shop was quite expensive but they usually are at attractions so that's to be expected. Lots of lovely cafes/bars outside for food too. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Had a good time here with kids. Starfish, clownfish, seahorse, tortoise, murray, stingray, octopus and many more. Pepa was also around so it was an icing on cake and little one just loved it.

Good place, nice visit with kids. Not that big though, but we were allowed go around a second time. The staff were superb - great and knowledgeable, they were more than willing to chat and inform the visitors about the animals.

I absolutely love this place, the staff are sooo friendly and helpful and great with the kids. I went here with my daughter and granddaughter who is 2 and she was in her element. They can't get lost as its a one way with narrow corridors and she was so happy to see all the different types of fish. The tanks were clean and spotless and the fish looked well happy. There's a place at the end where you can take pics and play around and there's a Peppa pig trail and at the weekends, a peppa meet and greet which will go down an absolute treat with the kids, we went during the week and it wasn't crowded, was a really lovely day in Bray. It was raining that day so was great to know you were by the sea but indoors. There's a cool gift shop at the end of the trail where you will be able to buy soft toys and souvenirs of your day where you will be looked after by the friendliest of staff. The toilets and baby changing areas are very clean too which is so important. You won't regret your visit here.

Had a great visit today, nice and quiet in the morning so you can really enjoy the experience, all the fish seem well cared for. Dave (I think was his name) was incredible and shared so much knowledge with us about so many fishes and sharks photo of one of his (and now ours too) favourites attached. Really made the experience so much more enjoyable, 10/10 would love a full tour guided by him!

Great variety of sea creatures. Smaller than expected but would still recommend

The aquarium is a really great amenity, staff are lovely and really knowledgeable about the inhabitants. The place is clean, cool and accessible. The only thing I found challenging was as we visited during covid times there was a lot of stopping and starting as we waited for the families in front to move along to the next window/pool etc. But I feel most people will have this gripe

We visited here today and the staff couldn't of been more helpful or accommodating. The girl that welcomed us at door was very helpful in regards to our son with autism, advising that it was dark and maybe noisy and if we needed to step out for a minute just to let them know. Another staff member(we didn't get any names) came over to us and did her best to disctract him as she seen he was getting frustrated waiting to move on to the next area. Really makes the day more enjoyable and less stressful when staff have understanding of children with additional needs. We will definitely visit again. Thanks for a great day

The place is much bigger than seems to be in pictures. We had a lot of fun seeing the activity of all the aquatic animals and it was so nice being in the middle of sea life! I highly recommend it!

  • 2/5 Stephen B. 2 years ago on Google
Good for the kids to have a look around. But am I missing something? There was ramps leading up to the entrance for buggy's and wheelchairs. Yet when we came to the end of the aquarium we were met with a staircase...also no Covid cert checks, just a reminder to wear masks

  • 5/5 Trevor M. 2 years ago on Google
Staff are very nice and full of interesting facts. The kids loved it. Only takes about one hour to get around so I think timing is perfect. Lovely fish and chips down the road aswell and you can sit beside the sea and eat. Lovely day out for the family.

  • 5/5 Thomas O. 2 years ago on Google
Great a day out with kids. Could do with more fish in the some of the tanks and give the tank windows a clean every now and again. But other than that is a good spot . Kids loved it. Staff are helpful and will tell the kids all about the fish and were there from if they want to find out more about them . Best part is the big shark tank at the end. Its like your in there with them. Would recommend it for a vist but keep in mind it doesn't take long to get around it so take your time whole there . And watch out for the gift shop t the end that's were your money will go 🤣🤣
