exotic feel but since I ordered the buffet where a chef cooks your selection of food and spices, it did not turn out as tasty as I had hoped because I am not a cook and don't know which spices and sauces to use. but ambience was excellent.

Although you can choose your own ingredients and spices, you will have to get in the line every time you want to repeat. Given the quality of them ingredients and the price, it wasn’t worth for me. We paid R$ 120 per person average

The Seafood Red Curry is supposed to contain lobster, shrimps, squid and mussels. When ordered, there were no lobster or mussels to be seen, only some mushy chunks of salmon instead. No warnings, no apologies, hence no return to the place. The "Mongolian buffet", though, is fun; not a real culinary experience, but fun still.

Amazing place! You literally eat so much but every time you go through it it only gets better and better! I have been there so many times and it’s always amazing! *** Pro tip, once you’re full, get a bowl of pineapple with honey and cinnamon (you can add a little bit of coconut milk) and ask them to throw it in the grill... it’s amazing!!!!!!

best Mongolian food i’ve ever tried!

Fun place to get some real food with lots of spices. You can order from the menu or create your own dish with fish, meat, or chicken. Or you can go veggie. The juices are great also. During the busy times it can take a long time to go back and get more food so I suggest sticking to the menu if you have to be out of here quick. On a Saturday at 1pm is the perfect time to do the buffet because only a few other people are here; going back for more there is no wait. I don’t suggest the beef in the Buffett because it is very tough to chew. Stick to the chicken or fish at the Buffett.

My first time at Tantra was 15 years ago and I was a regular for about 8 years. Great food and amazing atmosphere. After 7 years living abroad, yesterday I went back for the Mongolian grill. Really nice and tasty ingredients, but the atmosphere is gone! The place looks very 'tired' and the staff was the worst. Slow service, not a smile at all, even after a fat tip. Definitely I didn’t feel welcome there. Next time in São Paulo, I’m not going back to Tantra.

Tantra is one of a kind restaurant - exotic, out of the world, and good value for money. If you are eating there, start with the very popular Mongolian Grill option. You not only eat two servings but also receive a few rounds of finger food. The restaurant is in Vila Olímpia, so be mindful of office hour rush.

The restaurant “Tantra” is amazing. The place is very different, the food is Asian and exotic. It’s from Mongolia. The meals are prepared in a fantastic way, the dishes look amazing and smell good, it seems like a Feng Shui environment. The principal dishes are Boar Meat, Ostrich Meat and Shark Meat. The dishes taste great and incredible, I felt in another country, when I went this restaurant for the first time. Today I love to visit new places because the new experiences makes me feel happy.

The tapas are very good. I had the Korean BBQ (you put the ingredients in a bowl and they prepare it for you). It took me a while to get things right, but once I did it was quite ok, although I would prefer if someone was preparing it for me in the right amount. The 3 stars are due to the fact there wasn't air conditioning, and it felt really, really hot, making it difficult to enjoy the experience. It should be ok on the winter though.
