An incredible place! You can see a lot of animals that you don't usually see: yacares, fishes, birds, mammals. It is magical! They also have a wonderful exhibition full of Amazonian items, you can even see a giant tree leaf (surely bigger than you are). The visiting is worth every second! I do recommend this place.

I loved the place not as polished as British zoo. But all the more real for it.

INPA is an institute for biological research. The institute maintains a small zoo like reserve with a few animals including snakes, alligators, free small monkeys, manatee tanks, and a turtle lake. It's a small park but big enough for a jungle walk in the middle of the city of Manaus. You will also find some exhibitions including insets, plants, and caboclos life style (non native people living a more humble life style in the jungle). If lucky you might be able to see monkeys moving around and small capivaras. The place is a bit far from downtown but is closer than the MUSA park.

I loved the experience. It is a Greta place for afternoon walks. It's good for children and family as well as for couples.

We had an impression that the park is dyeing, very bad kept. But we did like watching feeding the babies- Manatees, very cute.

Zoos are no place for beautiful wild animals! You wouldn't want to be held prisoner your whole life, so why put innocent animals though that?

It used to be a fun place to take the family but now the place seems a bit abandoned and there are no more attractions or honestly anything in general. I will give them some credit for updating their mini museum but they removed some of the cool and interactive things from it sadly.

This place is amazing. First of all: it's free of entry. You can find a lot of animals here. Free roaming animals and the ones that are enclosed. I love this place. A parking lot is infront of the institute. Don't forget to take water with you as the humidity is very high and it's very hot.
