Perfect birthday dinner! Our server Angie was extremely attentive & made excellent recommendations. My boyfriend tried elk for the first time, cooked to perfection it was very tender. The bison short rib was to die for. Drinks were great for happy hour! Next time we are in Breckenridge we will definitely be back. Definitely recommend making a reservation. This was easily the best meal I’ve experienced in Breckenridge over the last decade. Our server, Kyle, was very attentive and gave incredible recommendations. I can’t say enough good things about the octopus, elk, duck and Brussels sprouts. The only thing I would do differently is to consider the lamb and stay for dessert.

Can't say enough about our experience here. The staff was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable (talking to you Jamie V!) The cocktails were delicious and the food was cooked to perfection. My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary and agree that the night couldn't have gone more perfect.

Everything you can expect will be delivered… Heard a lot about this place and they delivered, they get all my 5 stars for this review. Party of 3 plus a dog, went there for dinner and had a great time. They have great installations outdoors and we’re super helpful and friendly to change the table as it started to rain a bit. Pet friendly, knowledgeable staff (actually VERY) and friendly and helpful who made the experience even better. Outstanding views, great location and good menu. They have a great wine selection and the quality of food was great. I will be back and totally recommend the experience of this place.

Amazing dinner here. We started off at the bar and got drinks. The bartender was nice enough to offer a sweeter concoction for my selective taste. He got us a menu and started us off with an appetizer. We were then seated at a table and started with the lobster raviolo. I was blown away by the flavor and it was the star of the night. Both of our main courses were also great.

We came here to celebrate our wedding (elopement). And I have to say this was one of the best dining experiences of my entire life. Beginning to end, the recommendations were outstanding as well as the cuisine. The waitstaff is incredibly knowledgeable and provides excellent pairings. I cannot wait to go back and eat here again.

Amazing food with beautiful views of the mountains! We had a 4:30 reservation but arrived early for happy hour. The happy hour appetizers and drinks were very reasonably priced. However, the dinner entrees were amazing! So many great choices and some of the best scallops I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this place and look forward to going back next time I’m in Breck.

We were here visiting from Houston, TX. Thank you so much for letting us in at 9 PM on our last night especially since the kitchen was closing. Steve the waiter/bartender was excellent just like appetizer, Lobster Ravioli! Not to forget the excellent dinner too, the Colorado Lamb Chops and the Prime Culotte Steak!!!! In Breckenridge this is a must have before leaving town.

It was a pleasure visiting Hearthstone. This was our party of two’s first visit to Hearthstone and it couldn’t have been better! Hearthstone is located a couple blocks off Main Street. A few tables near the front of the restaurant have great views of the mountains. We started our meal with the lobster ravioli appetizer which was a perfect amount for two. For dinner we had the lamb special (phenomenal) and the bison short ribs served with collard greens and cheddar grits. Then we wrapped up our dining experience with the “cake and shake” which is a layered carrot cake with a boozy vanilla milkshake on the side. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We look forward to our next visit!

Dinner on the patio was fantastic. The weather was perfect the view is spectacular and the food was on point. I had Blackberry Elk and my wife had the Beef Tips. The frendliy staff and the short wait time made a 5 star review an easy decision. We will be back.

The view from the deck is probably the best view from any restaurant in Breck. I have been dining at the Hearthstone since 2007. Year after year, they have been consistently delicious. They are one of the best if not the best restaurant in Breckenridge. The food, the service, the drinks, the happy hour menu make the Hearthstone worth visiting and worth every penny I have paid.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! We were a company of 12 people. Everyone ordered different dishes. I ordered the Black cod and arugula salad, and it was excellent. My husband ordered Blackberry elk, it was delicious. I also tried Sea scallops, they were very good. They also served excellent bread and butter. The wine list was great 👍 Also excellent dessert 🍨 Carrot cake

First off we had excellent service. Our waitress even brought my girlfriend a little surprise for her birthday 🎂 n the house. How nice! I had the elk. First time I ever had it. I'm giving this five stars because the chef cooked it on the rare side which is what I asked for. As for the elk, now that I had it for the first time, personally I would go with a steak. If you've never had elk, I did not have the sensation that it was gamey. But with less fat I felt like the taste doesn't compare to a really nice New York strip. Personal preference of course but I'm trying to help anybody to have an idea of what they're going to get if you've never had elk. But overall a nice restaurant and I would go there again next time we were back in the Breckenridge area. The scallops were outstanding

My wife and I don't get many night's out without the kiddo. We were blessed to be able to take a night in beautiful Breckenridge and we were blown away by this restaurant. I wish I could remember our server's name, but the service was absolutely incredible second only to the food. We got the cheese platter as an appetizer and a bottle of wine. It was exceptional. One thing I very much appreciated was the appetizer came out with plenty of time before our entree was served. Perfect timing. I got the duck my wife got the salmon. Both dishes were some of the best we've ever had. I travel extensively for work and this is one of the best restaurants I've ever frequented. They made the night incredible! Love this place. 110% highly recommend!

Inviting restaurant with fabulous flavors from start to finish. hearthstone offers a wonderful array of wines and signature cocktails appetizers unforgettable entrees complete with an amazing dessert . The ginger pear martini was delicious. We enjoyed a white wine like no other. Our dinners included the Colorado lamb, elk and Alaskan cod. One was better than the next. Charred octopus was a wonderful appetizer and finished with the toffee bread pudding. The chef is a treasure and the food remarkable

This was an amazing dinner experience. I went for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend and it was perfect. The service was very attentive. We ordered the elk and lamb (so we could try both and share) and they were both out of this world. We preferred the lamb dish, which was Colorado sourced meat. The side of truffle and goat cheese mashed potatoes was absolutely incredible as well. The food was so good we got 6 additional lamb dishes to go for friends and family who came on the trip but did not join us for dinner. They loved it just as much! Definitely get the espresso cake dessert as well. I am still dreaming about the Oreo bottom and the bites melting in my mouth.

We had a wonderful dinner at Hearthstone. We ordered the appetizer ribs which might have been my favorite. The short rib w/ grits and collard greens hit the spot and the salmon was light and refreshing. Didn’t take a photo but the Black Currant bread pudding was a nice finish. Our server was also very accommodating and nice. The average plate costs about $46 dollars so it wasn’t cheap but the quality was on point. I do wish there was a little more soup in the bowl.

We really enjoyed this dinner. Nice setting, great service and very tasty food. We had the Blackberry Elk, Bison Short Ribs, and the Caprese Salad App. All were worth a trip back to have again. The only downside was when the bill arrived there was a 3% kitchen surcharge on the entire bill (drinks and all) I am not really sure what a kitchen surcharge is, but I tend to go out to eat so someone else does the work in the kitchen and assume that is why I am paying more for the food in the first place.

A very nice night out but also not amazing. The ambience and the house are great. Our server did a good job but seemed overworked as everything was a bit slow. We were surprised they had no sparkling water. The octopus appetizer was good but the char and flavor was only good. The cod entree was very good. The duck breast was very good but the crispy part was a little soggy. The confit duck leg/thigh was good but had a bit of strange flavor and seemed under seasoned. A nice night out.

This place truly delivers a dinner of elegance. The chefs special pushed us out of our eating comfort zone; however, it was worth every bite. The lamb and the duck were positively amazing. Everything about this place was an absolute pleasure to indulge in.

We had the absolute best experience here! Our waitress was incredible and so accommodating and great with recommendations. We got the mussels, lamb and crème brûlée for dessert and I’d get them all again. This restaurant is in a historic home in the area and has beautiful decor and details. Such an amazing restaurant and I’ll return on our next time in town!

We heard about Hearthstone while on a dogsledding excursion. It turns out this high end restaurant in a beautiful old Victorian home with amazing food also has a heart of gold. They donate “soup” to the hard working sled dogs at Good Times Adventures. After hearing this, my husband and I made it our mission to secure a coveted reservation for dinner before the end of our trip. We were not disappointed! We ordered the blackberry elk and bison short rib and both were amazing! Our server was personable, knowledgeable and very attentive. The whole experience was simply perfect!

Our server Angie did a wonderful job of navigating our dietary restrictions and her recommendations were phenomenal! I could not recommend a better place to enjoy a fine dining experience!
