I bought my kids here for an afternoon tea and we had a great time. The afternoon tea was very good, they did plain sandwiches for my kids (the two of them shared an adult afternoon tea) and the cakes were excellent. The play area was an added bonus, making this place very family friendly. The price was fair too - this is probably the nicest tea room in Swaffham 👍🏻

Real friendly service and nice fresh food. Child play zone (3-8 yrs), wheel chair friendly, barefoot friendly and dogs welcome. Clean gents Quality cutlery. Original decor. Spacious. Visit on a Monday lunch. Worth a detour off the A47. I do not normal give 5 stars.

Food good service awful waited 45 minutes for a sandwich in my lunch hour… not happy Only 3 tables full and 4 members of staff my order had been thrown in the bin! It was quickly rustled up after I chased it.

I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the lovely ladies at Margaret's Tea Room, my son and his friend's thoroughly enjoyed the amazing Halloween Disco to celebrate his 5th Birthday Party yesterday! The decor, activities, party games / prizes, food, everything was quality. You made hosting a party for my son who is born on Halloween so easy, all of the children said how amazing it was and we had ages from 16 months to 9 years old and every child was entertained! We hope and look forward to a replay next year! Thank you all again 🎃👻🕷🕸❤️✨️🥳🎈🎂

I really enjoy visiting Margaret's with my little boy. They have a good range of food available (ready to eat and freshly made to order) and lots of yummy cakes and treats. They offer good coffee and other hot drinks as well as juice and pack up lunches for the kids. Nice cafe area for the non-playing guests but for the families who want to play there's a separate room with an indoor play area in. For 2 pounds you can spend an hour in there (still has tables and chairs for eating) with your little ones as they entertain themselves on the indoor play equipment and with the range of toys provided. The food is always great, the staff always friendly and the play area always kept up well. They've recently installed a different slide from the old spiral slide which my kid is very pleased about as he was always too wary of the tunnel slide to use it! Strongly recommended for a visit for kids up to the age of 3-4.

Would not recommend or would visit again unfortunately, Food was ok but expensive for what we got ,When you read a menu that is what you expect to have served to you, Not something subbed for cheaper stuff, without letting the customers know, That you may not get what you have ordered. Service was very vague but friendly when I talked to someone, Had to ask a few times for basic stuff like cutlery, butter. Ended up leaving disappointed and a little annoyed.

What a lovely find. Met family members here for lunch. Food very reasonably priced and large portions and a very reasonabley priced over 50's menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of tables, with a large children's play area with tables to eat and a small outside area. Dogs welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Daughter and I stopped in for lunch and had 2 kids size pizzas. The place is really cute and comfortable, the pizzas were great, and the staff was extremely kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely place to eat took my grandchildren there pizza really yummy we had four different types and thay gave us a box to take home leftovers the kids could play we all enjoyed the day little gem staff very friendly

Lovely warm feeling on entering. Staff were very friendly. Cappuccino had a very good froth and was lovely tasting coffee. Nice to support local coffee shop instead of the big chains. Husband had a sausage roll which he said had lots of flavour to it

Was a little disappointed when we arrived and found out pizza was not available, then the food was ok, portions is on the small side. I would recommend the cakes and deserts because the portion are generous for the price compare to the lunch menu.

Amazing little place! Had lovely food and coffee and the children played safely and independently. Managed to chat to my friends!
