This is a great place to relax, walk, cycle or just enjoy the view. It's near the bus stops and to local shops if you don't want to walk or you want to grab a drink.

Not been here for a long time and went with my friend walking her dog. Brabyns Park is beautiful we even saw a heron in the water. Lovely place to visit. 🙂

Had a great walk in the sun. Went around the park and up to the canal. Followed it over the aqueduct and up to the farm, great view. Then back down the main road. Fantastic walk, lots of people saying good morning. A mix of walkers, bikers and people with dogs. 😁🌞

Firstly plenty of free parking along with disabled bays. A small children's playground very close to carpark & many paths heading off across the area both paved & muddy. One edge is the Peak Forest canal and the Marple flight of locks! A river path at the other edge leading from the impressive bridge should cater for most casual strolls.

Came for park run, and found the park to be a little gem, with great spots down by the river. Didn't see a cafe or anything like that but there's plenty in Marple which is close by. Was a very muddy run - but it is February!

A Lovely park with several facilities. But there are no toilets here. There is a regular Saturday Park run and Sunday football leauge for both children and adults. There are pleasant walks along the river Goyt with many mature trees and it is also dog friendly. There is a very early iron bridge and the canal is also nearby. The park used to be the grounds of Brabyns Hall now sadly, long demolished. There is a FREE car park and when this is full there is another free car park just across the busy road so care is needed when crossing with children.

Brabyns is lovely, with plenty of trees and wild spaces, though there could be more. Great place for dog walking. Very muddy/boggy in some places, so wear waterproof footwear.

Lovely wide stretches of field for dogs to run and nice river with shallow entries to paddle.

Perfect for off lead dog walking. Massive area with access to canal path that gives miles of country walks. Also rivers run through with lots of access points for paddling

Very nice open space, with huge fields for kids (or dogs) to run around in. Theres a small play park which the kids played on for a while. The car park is quite small but there's another over the road from the entrance. Didn't spot any toilets.

This park is beautiful for a short walk or a long one. The river Goyt flows at one end. It is also quite near to Etherow Park and the canal system overall its got interesting possibilities for further delights

Large and nicely kept park. Not a large amount scenery-wise as it's mostly a large basin shaped area surrounded by trees. There's access to a river though and it's a nice wide section at the point you can be beside it. I'd say my personal favourite aspect is that it has access to a few separate areas as a whole that make it a nicer prospect.. The Marple canal system, The Etherow Country Park nearby and a few green, partly wooded walks leading from here. Just in case wide open green grassy parks aren't your fave.

A lovely walk, lots of benches to stop for a picnic, very little litter and a free car park. We watched the river hoping to see a Dipper but were unlucky today . . . Hey, perfect excuse to come back next week.

Very pleasant park, easy walking paths. The iron bridge over the Goyt, and the banks of the river make for an interesting walk. Car parking is good.

I helped a friend up the Marple staircase with his 79ft boat. The weather was fine and the scenery is unique to the area, very green and loved by local walkers and joggers. It was both stimulating and relaxing somehow, a day out that I will not forget for all the best reasons.

Just down there road from Marple station. Loads of free parking. A number of different walks on offer. Great place to bring dogs with large open spaces. Also a small play park for young kids.

Great place for a walk, walk a dog or run and play with children. There are 2 car parks but they can fill up quickly in warm weather when everyone fancies getting out and about.

We only sat around the pond for a bit, but it is a nice spot. The grass has been allowed to develop as a meadow, the buttercups are in full force, the irises were in flower (both purple and yellow), as we're the rhododendrons and the water lilies. The moorhen chicks were adorable, stepping lightly on the lily pads as they looked for food.
