What a great park for kids and adults. There are various facilities in children’s playgrounds. One of them is an electronic game pole set. It made us run forth and back a lot. The high slide was exciting. There was a bouncy castle when we visited. It was near a pitch and putt area too. The car park was almost full and it accepted coins only (or RingGo app).

Really lovely park to meet up with friends and family for the kids to have fun. Ice creams and coffees to purchase within the grounds as well as a lovely restaurant/cafe. Toilets available for park users also and it's really cheap to park. I've marked 1 star down as the only problem for me is it's such an open park, I wish the separate areas or at least the smaller children's part, was gated/fenced off. It can get really busy and as a mum with 2 under 5, it causes anxiety when one runs off in the opposite direction from the other

Brilliant park for the kids, there was a bouncy castle today that they enjoyed for £2pp. The ice cream hut has reasonable prices, even when the que is large it moves quickly. Theres toilets just next to the playground and theres a duck pond next to it. Theres a bmx track too which looks awesome! The carpark was busy but we found a place easily. It was £3.60 for all day

Beautiful park with footpaths and trail walking and running, cycling tracks, parking , toilets and cafe facilities. Children’s play area, golf course and archery Beautiful sceneries with varieties of plants, trees, enjoyable in all seasons. The caretakers and gardeners are well professional to keep the plants , grass and footpaths tidy.

Beautiful park. Lovely to walk round. Pond where you can feed the ducks. We brought duck food for £1 from Oddfellows hotel reception. Had afternoon tea in the restaurant there. Was a great afternoon out. Well tendered to Gardens. Big children's park there also. Would be nice place for a picnic.

Everything you need for a day out with family especially Children. I just sat whilst my dog was running around, felt like I was away from the whole COVID-19 situation. Excellent activities and great place to have a picnic.

An ignorant Karen lady stole our parking space firstly then when we returned to our vehicle we found another car had parked so close to us they scratched the passenger side of our vehicle, obviously with their door on exiting. Other than that the park itself is beautiful clean and very good to walk your dog through all the trails and fields

Great park for the kids and adults alike. Walk the dog, feed the ducks, have a coffee, ride the bmx track, play on the park and then get an ice cream. Car park is £2 for a couple hours.

Been to The Vinery cafe for the first time in a long time today and the welcome, the service and the food and drink are as good as they ever were.

My grandchildren have hours of fun at this park. My grandchildren call it the 'sandy park' because of the huge sand pit. Sand pit can present many hazards one been cats using them as their toilet. However, to date we have had no problems with it. It is clean and my 'two' have hours of fun. The park has challenging apparatus for the children to have fun and explore what they can do with and on the apparatus provided.

    Good. Playground, café. Walks

  • 4/5 Nina V. 2 years ago on Google
Great park, children's play areas a good size and lots of variation in there, my kids love the electronic game and the sand pit. The ice cream stalls / refreshments are nice, there's 2 places to go, an outdoor shop for ice creams coffee and snacks and a indoor sit down cafe with snacks and ice creams. The surrounding park around the play areas in lovely to walk around and theres a little duck pond where you can feed the ducks. Toilets are available too which is a bonus.

What a great afternoon playing pitch and Putt!! Not been for 30 years!! Still amazing and extremely courteous staff!! Get down for a round

  • 5/5 Stuart H. 2 years ago on Google
Great space, really fun play ground for all ages. Coffee and ice cream available. Only down side was last weekend, there was a bouncy castle next to the playground that was charging £2 to go on. A battle parents can do without.

  • 4/5 Beth D. 1 year ago on Google
The play area is great for children, with plenty of seating for adults. There is a refreshments cabin, offering hot and cold food and drinks as well as a large range of ice creams. Pitch and putt is available and other facilities include a skate park and archery range. Parking is plentiful, but chargeable. If you're looking for activities, this is a great park - not so much a park for long walks, you could walk a full circuit in less than half an hour.

Brilliant place for kids, walkers or just to sit & admire nature. Little shop serves ice creams & drinks. Play area, duck pond & lovely pathed walks suitable for prams & wheelchairs. Pay & display for parking but fees are small.

Lovely hotel, spent our wedding night here in one of suites , lovely waking up surrounded by beautiful trees. The room was furnished lovely . I didnt like the down quilt and pillows but that's just my preference. I would still go again.

Cannot say anymore how brilliant this park is , fields to walk your dogs, or have a picnic, nice cafe, restaurant, and kids park. Big BMX park. Just great.

  • 5/5 Paul J. 3 years ago on Google
Large play area. Lots of parking (with reasonable fees). Shop for refreshments. The only negative was possibly the large puddles in the play area, however, the kids enjoyed splashing in them so can't complain too much.

  • 4/5 Matt 2 years ago on Google
Nice place. Good playground for younger kids in particular. Lovely surroundings. Public toilets on site and a small kiosk selling drinks/ ice creams etc. There is also a cafe which serves hot food and drinks of a reasonable standard/ price. Only marked down as you have to pay for parking. Its not expensive and you can pay via phone app if like me you never have change, but it annoys me all the same. The only real reminder that you're still within Stockport and the council like to make an unnecesary and easy buck off visitors. Regardless, it's worth a visit.

Lovely park. Nice to see kids enjoying the outdoor space . The trees were huge.little duck pond too. Lovely play area.

  • 5/5 Laura M. 2 years ago on Google
A wonderful park...BMX track which we enjoyed watching people use, different areas of the park including an area with sandpit, swings, slides, climbing apparatus, a zip line that was unfortunately broken, a small pond with ducks and a fantastic interactive game with silver poles that had built in touch screen games such as 2 people one is red one is blue and when your colour lights up on pole you hit it to turn it off - never seen before and it was a huge hit!!

This is a well funded park open to the public and is well equipped with features other parks can only dream off. From trees and plats to children's play area, their is great variety and plenty of space. Parking isn't free so bear this in mind but definitely the park if you want cheap kids play area on a sunny day. Expect it to be extremely busy though!

  • 5/5 Alec D. 1 year ago on Google
Brilliant playground for kids. Pirate ship sandpit is a godsend (bring your own bucket and spade). Separate area with another climbing frame, climbing net, roundabout etc. Some smaller slides for toddlers and then one better suited to 5+ kids. A snack hut is open most days and serves hot drinks, ice cream and fish finger barms. An indoor cafe opens most days but not Monday and maybe not Tuesday either.

  • 5/5 Michael S. 1 year ago on Google
Fabulous park, been going here for over 30 years, loads of outdoor space including sprawling fields and woodland plus a small "petting zoo" and 2 playgrounds suitable for young and older children. On site is an archery school and putting green. Only downside with it being so good it gets very busy, especially on a nice day!

  • 4/5 Frances B. 1 year ago on Google
Admittedly cold January not best time to visit, but Plenty of people enjoying the park and playground. Coming from deepest countryside area, I found it noisy from nearby roads and the smell of exhaust fumes and aviation fumes not the best air quality , neither of which is the parks fault. I'm sure the locals appreciate a bit of green space.

Beautiful park with brilliant play ground for all ages, public toilets, cafe, lovely paved walks, space to play ball games and ride a bike. Ample, affordable parking. Small duck pond, picnic benches. Had a really pleasant afternoon here with my toddler and will be putting this in to our rotation of parks to visit. Highly recommend. Wheelchair accessible toilets and baby change available.

Great place for a bmx track, kids loved it. Just don't let your kids go down the start ramp at full speed if they are not used to getting some air time. Track great for beginners, casual riders and experts.

Another lovely afternoon at Bruntwood Park. Plenty of equipment for children to play on. Bouncy castle, large sand-pit and electronic interactive game. Small lake with ducks and geese and a lovely café for meals, snacks or tea/coffee. Also an ice cream/sweets kiosk and toilets.

This park is amazing, everything for children, sand pit, big slides, zip wire, basketball, duck pond, etc etc, also the amazing BMX track. Food kiosk, which sells ice creams & bacon baps, crumpets, hot cold drinks. It's also great for adults too, a lovely place to go for a walk alone or with company as it's very scenic, lots of green space. Hopefully the wonderful cafe will be open soon, the very clean toilets are open which needs a mention at this present time.

My grandchildren love it and I can get a bacon bap + coffee even in lockdown, the family that run it are lovely and always make us welcome.

  • 4/5 Kelvin W. 3 years ago on Google
Three months of rain have made off-road areas boggy but there are plenty of footpaths. Socially distanced use of the play area kept the grandchildren happy while the adults were able to buy a decent coffee. If you looked carefully there was enough wildlife to interest the children: a variety of ducks; water voles; several species of birds; and of course the ubiquitous squirrels. An excellent Boxing Day outing.

  • 4/5 Nigel L. 3 years ago on Google
In credit to Bruntwood park during the current lockdown, the park cafe has tried to remain open along with toilets! A large carpark & is large enough for people to spread out! Move away from the main tracks & look for minor paths which skirt the parkland, you will soon clock up walking a few miles through the surrounding fields! Enjoy

It's not as I remember as a kid but are any parks these days? Regardless it's very pretty and the people there are always social. Customer service is fab in the kiosk. Can't wait for the restaurant to reopen!

  • 5/5 Andy B. 3 years ago on Google
Very muddy today and there was huge puddles but the kids loved it brilliant play area loads for the kids to play on even a sand pit . There is a little cafe which is handy .

  • 3/5 John F. 3 years ago on Google
Vast open space easily accessible from the conurbation. Wear boots if leaving the tarmac in December. Only downside is the thunderous traffic on the A34 along the western side of the park.
