Paid about $22 for this, asked for medium rare, it came out more medium well, I guess it was listed as 8oz but past that, the seasoning must have been just salt, I ended up putting pepper on it myself. Thought the side of biscuits came as two, but apparently it's just one, but it wasnt half bad. The potatoe was loaded I asked for which was an extra $2 I believe, and, well, im glad they didn't mess up my potatoe, would have been hard to but yea haha. Waitress was super nice, but food took so long that my hot tea I got when I sat there, along with the cute little refill cup was almost cold when the food finally arrived. Didn't get offered a refill, I assume she might have been busy doing something else, but I dont believe it was too busy there. The people I went with had decent food cooked right, fries are tasty. Id probably only go here for maybe am expensive breakfast, or just some pie and or a shake.

Man, this location has gone downhill after COVID. Might have been that it was a Tuesday night and things were slow. But man I hope when the area remodel occurs this location comes back to life. Staff was great and kind. Food was not very good. I ordered the Steak and asked for it to be cooked to medium and it came well done. Asked for loaded mash and got a baked potato. My wife ordered an Omelet, and she said it was great.

I was a very regular customer and with my little terrier service dog no problems. Until one night a customer attacked me about my service dog saying questioning me whether she was registered etc I told her she was I sat down to have my steak dinner and wondered what the stainless steel cup on the plate was and when I tasted it it was pancakes syrup. At that point I really didn't want to stay because the cooks obviously were vindictive and the other customer no one corrected her when she verbally attacked me about my service dog who was sound asleep under the table. When I found out it was pancake syrup I just this is enough for tonight I'm not really happy to eat anymore and I left while this woman ranted at me as I went out the door. About a half hour later I then tried to call to apologize for leaving without paying for my dinner which I couldn't eat and explain what the customer had granted at me about my service dog, they hung up on me three times before I could explain what had happened. It's a dirty filthy restaurant the cooks don't know what they're doing and if you get a good meal good luck because you never know what you're going to get I am now banned from there because of customer probably attacked me about my dog that was sleeping on the floor and it had nothing to do with these people but they took it upon themselves to run me out and then when I tried to come back I was told I had to leave. The series in Silverdale is very nice but the one on Wheaton Way don't even bother.

Ordered the sampler sausage links veggies and a fruit cup. The eggs were smooshy like they had been placed in a blender after being scrambled. The hash browns were hash white, the sausage was under cooked the veggies had zero flavor and was way too crunchy, and the fruit cup had a slimy film. I requested a refund for the horrible tasting food and was told I had to wait until shift leader came in. When I came back for a refund I was turned away and told to wait for the manager the next day. We left the food with the restaurant and now the next day I called and again was told to wait because management was busy. I still haven't received my refund. Going in today to get my money back. Will not be eating here again. Management should teach their staff how to process a refund. If they had been professional and knowledgeable of this process I probably would have just quietly took my refund without putting in this .horrible review. Train your workers to do refunds. There is no reason why I should wait this long when I returned your nasty food yesterday.

My girlfriend and I decided to try this location out. The one in silverdale was horrible the one time we went. It ended with the cook telling us he was having an off day. Lol at that point, I wouldn't be having anyone cook. We were surprised with this location. The menu's looked cleaner, could tell its been revamped, our service was good, and the food was pretty good too. The only thing I would change is the biscuits and gravy. It wasn't even biscuits. They were croissants. Over all, we were happy with the food and the flavors. We will definitely give this location another go.

I did have more stars from before this last visit. Disappointed more than I can describe in words. I understand that the world is short everywhere, especially in the food industry. We don't mind waiting to order, and we understand the food wait is even longer. That's not what even upsets me. The fact we waited so long and the food was so disappointing beyond what I can say. I took pictures and wanted to show the portions for which we paid a lot of money. Not only that, but when we found hair in my husband's hashbrowns, the waitress was so rude about it. It couldn't be any of ours because we all have blonde or light brown hair, not black. She attempted to take the food back, but my husband said he'd just finish it because why wait another hour for his food to come. No, way we blame the waitress and she was swamped. This sharis has gone down in all aspects.

The food was pretty good, especially the stuffed hash browns. I left full and satisfied. Very reasonable prices. But best of all, stellar customer service! Super friendly staff and pretty quick too.

The food was tasty. The waitress was very attentive. We were seated quickly, she came to take our order promptly, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and she checked back with us to make sure we had what we needed.

Seemed understaffed but the 1 waitress working her butt off! Although it wasnt too busy. Had breakfast/brunch..love the create ur own scramble with requested well done hash browns(1 of few places that understand what that means, crispy!) Unique tasty jelly for toast-not the standard pull top container with std blase flavors. Excellent!

Review for Shari's cafe. I will never go there again. This isn't my first bad experience there. The one previous was on my birthday many years ago and I ordered an expensive steak dinner and my son's kids menu choice had more food then my dish did. I was dumbfounded. Today we waited an hour or longer for our food. I wasn't informed it would be that long although I heard them tell others that walked in it was a long wait. We got to the table and the silverware was dirty. The tables were so gross. I'm a mom so I wipe the table down especially where my three year old is sitting because there's no stopping him from eating food he dropped on the table. The wipe I used was just black. I kept using more and more wipes, it did get better over time but absolutely disgusting. Apparently they never do a deep clean of the tables. It was sticky like if your table was around your stove when cooking. Not sure how to explain it. Sticky as if you blew lots of marijuana smoke at it and it resonated on the table. The ledge of the booths were the same way. The lamp above had a huge white circle shade and it had brown stains all in it, like coffee got spilled up there or maybe a water leak. We did get a free piece of pie for my son's birthday to bring home that was nice. Although I'll never eat there again. It's pretty expensive for the amount of food you get as well. Ohh ya the hash browns got brought out on separate plates last because they were not done yet which is understandable it must be hard to cook all those orders but my son would take a bite and I saw the grease dripping off them. I really think we should have been comped in some way just for having to wait over an hour for our food but wasn't trying to be that person especially on son's birthday. We made the best of it. I really think they should focus a lot more on deep cleaning everything because if they really sat down and checked things out they would be disgusted as well. Take a Clorox it just a baby wipe and wipe both tables. Maybe they should just update their restaurant it would minimize a lot of these issues. Those types of tables don't look dirty but really are.

Our food was great! The young man with the tattoos (can't remember his name)was one of the best waiters we have ever had. He was extremely attentive and very nice. We never had to wait on anything and he kept our drinks full! Great place and I love the old diner feel!

I went to Shari's pies in Renton in 2018 during my visit to Washington at the time and when I moved here it was the first food place I went to. The pies are insanely good and honestly I've never had a bad experience with staff at any location. I go for the coffee and the pies because I am secretly 108 years old, but the food is also delicious. I really didn't expect for their Mac and cheese to be that good and it was delicious.

First off, the teal sweater, captain spalding eyebrow looking broad who was our waiter was extremely rude, never really checked up on us throughout the entire meal, and when we complained that the cook made our food cold she just left the table without saying sorry or a single word. Now let me get on to the cook, this lady needs to get her life together. Shes was overheard complaining about being $40 short to get her nails done, like, get some teeth, theres some spots in that mouth to be filled....my girlfriend ordered a sourdough sandwhich with pink in the mid, that entire thing including the fries and onions where extremely burnt, and my mac and cheese and our friends steak came out extremely cold...i will never tip these staff members ever again in my life

The food here is very good. But service is usually losy. Even when they are not busy, you have to wait a long time to get your food. They are offering a free breakfast for Veterans this year, BUT it is very limited, no options, no substitutions, the cheapest breakfast on the menu. A VERY POOR way to thank and honor Veterans and active military for their service and sacrifice. My wife and I were waiting almost 2 hours in all this morning and still had not received our food. So we got up to leave, offered to pay for our coffee and juice and our waitress walked away without even an apologie.

Place got bombed by on-line orders so sit down customer's had to wait but they told us in advance. Servers brought us drinks, we got our orders in and our food was brought to us right about the time expected. Good review for telling the truth.

I don't eat at Shari's Cafe often, why because the food I choose is comfort food. The BLT omg the bacon if you love bacon you will like Shari's BLT or the club sandwich. My favorite pie is the Tropical Coconut on a rainy day just feeling blah. I will go and buy a slice take it home relax and enjoy.

Our breakfast was incredible! My husband had country fried steak and eggs, I had an omelet- and we each upgraded to the stuffed hashbrowns to try. We both agreed that the hashbrowns were the star of the show, but the rest of the meal tasted fresh, was perfectly seasoned and properly cooked. Awesome experience!

When most people are at work I had the day off. There's a bus stop in front and I got off went in the restaurant. They have the best pies and best cook. Fast service I didn't have to ask for a refill on the coffee.

Was excited to try a different breakfast spot, but it was just ok. Service was a little slow, and our food was barely warm when it arrived at the table. All that said, the slice of apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was seriously delicious. There was just the right amount of cinnamon and the apples were baked to perfection. Not to soft, not to crisp. Basically we'll just be going back for the pie.

I've been a loyal customer here for a quite a few years and was never disappointed. I don't know if there's been a change in management or what, but change it back. With every order the last few month it gets worse and worse and less and less. For what I pay I at least hope my hollandaise sauce covers my eggs...

Service was good. Food decent. Actually I must add my gluten free pancakes were actually cooked through and the eggs over easy. Yeah! Wish they had used Bob's Red Mill, oh well. It was nice to be out with friends and have my food done properly. My one real gripe, as it were, is that the salt and pepper shakers were greasy. The pandemic had almost everywhere clean. Now clean seems to be slipping away, again.

This restaurant is one of the only places that's open past nine in the area which is awesome for late night munchies! I got the Prime Rib Dip with fries and a pecan pie milk shake that contained an actual slice of pie! My friend got the Northwest Steak Salad and a strawberry pie milkshake. The waiter suggested the flavor and anticipated that we'd need waters as well. Overall great service! ✨

This place has really gone downhill. The majority of my order came out cold, the little amount of gravy on the cold biscuit looked like it had been sitting for awhile with a thin crust on top, and the side of gravy I asked for was also cold. The scrambled eggs were cold to the touch, not even luke warm. And apparently if you choose bacon as your side they are only serving 1 slice now. I get the whole inflation thing for their higher prices these days, but to combine price increases with shrinkflation (1 slice of bacon!?!) as well as a poorly prepared product.. So bad.

Kinda like a pancake place. Nice staff and good service. We enjoyed our meals so what else can you ask for! Not fancy but a good place and decent prices.

This was where my wife of almost 14 years took our first date on December 23rd, 2006. So I'm far too biased to give a fair review - even if the service was horrible, we'd still frequent the place for sentimental reasons. Fortunately, that's never been a problem - we've always received top-notch service and fantastic food.

It was MOTHERS DAY on our visit. So, of course it was incredibly busy. The staff informed us that we would have to wait a while before receiving our order. Our waitress was very helpful and kind. Even though I know that she was overwhelmed. Yet, she never let it show! The only issue was that when our food arrived. It was cold.
