Incredible. Well worth the 10 dollar admission to see the incredible collection of bonsais. The shop is also amazing. So many one of a kind goodies here! The folks running it couldn’t be nicer. Oh, and there’s a very sweet dog and kitty cat that mosey around the shop that love getting pets. Highly recommend if you’re in area. PS- the one star reviews for this place are so silly!

Wonderful collection! Take the time out of your day to walk through 2 acres of beautifully crafted bonsai trees. Dan the artist was on site when I went and he was great to talk to and had a wealth of knowledge to share. When you go try and find the 2000+ year old tree (hint: its name is "Methuselah").

I have lived in Kitsap county almost 40 years and have missed this gem until recently. The entrance to the gardens can be misleading because it looks a little unkempt. But once you enter the gardens proper it’s almost like you’ve entered another world! I have seen bonsai trees before but nothing like Elandan Gardens. The owner gave us a tour and explained much about Bonsai trees and the history of the land, which incidentally was a dump for the shipyard and then transformed into a thing of beauty. Words do no justice, visit this place for yourself.

Absolute gem. Beautiful garden and landscape built over what once was a waste dump. Truly unique experience with bonsai featuring some “gnarly” roots and growth patterns. We enjoyed our time visiting and also enjoyed chatting with Mr Dan who told us about his life’s work. Highly recommend this place! “Grow your own oxygen”!

Elandan Gardens is an amazing bonsai museum and store with beautiful plants and treasures from all over! It may appear unsuspecting from the road but I promise that if you stop in for a visit that you will be amazed! Dan, Diane, and their family will welcome you and educate you on many topics. Definitely a must visit! P.S. Give Big Boy, the cat a belly rub!

Located along the water, this hidden gem is worth a visit! The gift shop is filled with a wonderful array of items from clothing to home decor. I took my time in the garden, reading all the signs and carefully observing the artistic twists and turns on each bonsai tree. There were not just the usual Pines or Junipers, but Dawn Redwood, Cedar, Rhododendron and even Rosemary! Not to mention numerous interesting rocks and sculptures. I was even welcomed by their cat and the owner. I found it to be a very peaceful, Zen experience.

Visited 03/11/2023 and had to buy dans book (can’t wait to get it signed in the spring). My girlfriend and I toured the gardens and wow is it BIG and very well designed. You can see a lot of creativity, eagles by the water, the front desk was very welcoming, even the landscaper was friendly!! All in all you can tell who Dan and Diane are by the people they hire, the book written and the endless garden 🪴. Visited in the winter and overly satisfied.

Most wonderful place, it is a living art gallery. When we first walked out into the gardens 2 bald eagles landed in the trees. The artist, Dan, was awesome and took time to show us some of the highlights.

What a wonderful place to visit on a sunny fall day! The owners are two of the nicest people you will ever meet! We were met at the door by their adorable dog and their cat strolled by as we were learning about the history of their shop and bonsai. The gift shop is full of unique items and it was totally worth the $10 to wander around the arboretum looking at the trees, rock sculptures and beautiful views of the water.

A beautiful and fascinating place to visit for anyone interested in bonsai, landscape, and/or unique antique items from around the world. Everyone was super helpful and we had a chance to talk with the owner, Mr. Robinson about his passion for his art. Thank you for the experience!

What a unique spot, so glad we stopped in and saw the gardens while passing through the area. We got to meet Dan who shared about the fascinating art of bonsai and encouraged us to start "growing our own oxygen" which we are actually now considering! The gardens were way bigger than they looked at first and the variety of trees was incredible.

We were in awe of the gardens. It was breathtaking. We would love to return during other seasons. This is truly a hidden gem and we'll worth the money.

It’s inspiring and amazing to see the work and dedication of someone over decades to a particular craft. This bonsai garden is a great example of it, and reading the many descriptions beneath the trees shows the tireless work Mr. Robinson has contributed to his art.

Amazing Bonsai Garden. The path is gravel so not a great wheel chair accessible location, but it is amazing. $10 entrance fee covers 3 acres of beautiful gardens! The gift shop is also not to be missed, like the sculptures and totem pole its full of beautiful unique things.
