If you're thinking about working here don't. They messed up on 2 of my checks. One with spelling one with hours and that was a huge mess up on my pay. Also they say to help others finish their work when you're done but absolutely no one has to ever help you. Everyone will leave by 230 or 3 and your stuck till 6 period. There is no break room for workers who don't smoke. Housekeepers aren't even allowed to use a fridge or microwave they have to ask like children for some one else to use it. I don't know howbthey treat customers but they treat Housekeepers like thieves and worse.

AWFUL PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK, I was wearing sweat pants and an oversized shirt because I’ve been sick with food poisoning and I was visiting family whose staying at this hotel and they escorted me off of their property. I couldn’t wait for a Uber on their property nor did they have reason to escort me accept for “it’s passed visiting hours”. I’ve been there in “work attire” the past week visiting and now it’s an issue? Not to mention this guy was bluntly creepy the first time I walked in the person I was visiting was a male and in a pervy way told us to “have fun” NOT APPROPRIATE. This guy shouldn’t have a job here. He is rude and treats people pourly. Not to mention their was blood on the “clean” pillows. Ripped up wash clothes. Stained floors. And room service didn’t put clean sheets on the bed and it’s very noticeable. But seriously I’ve never had someone treat me like such a low human ever. 😤 WOULDN’T EVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. STAFF IS VERY RUDE!!!

The room was very dirty, the bathroom was gross. My feet were black from walking on the carpet so I had to start wearing socks but the staff was amazing. It was close to my son's home but probably wouldn't stay there again.

Great location, great staff, good breakfast but it could really use a bit of work. It's looking tired. That being said it was clean, quiet and very comfortable beds.

Older hotel but clean and well maintained. Spacious, quiet, nice beds, and good service. Rooms have balconies which was a nice touch.

They're a wonderful place to stay. Rooms were full, didn't have a reservation. But they had a shalet, got it for 2 nights without even seeing it. Its overlooking the water. Own parking spot. Was not disappointed. WOW. Had everything, plus. Cannot say enough... plus even bring you breakfast if you fill out the card night before!

Nice view. Convenient location. But it was SO noisy because of some loud party. Heard stomping nosies above. The “second bed” was a fold-out that was filthy dirty! Dust, twigs, unusable. Had a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. Oh the free breakfast wasn’t remarkable. Coffee and boiled eggs and a muffin.

When I entered my room, it smelled so bad, We had to go get air freshener. The night attendant was very nice. Breakfast was like prison food lol. Bagel was great though. Pillows were very comfortable. I did sleep well. First hotel, they had a decent assortment of channels to watch. W was also pretty nice on the balcony.

We usually stay at a Hilton or Hampton. These rooms are great with an outstanding view our grandkids were lucky enough to see jelli fish and experience the Tides first hand we are on our second visit here and enjoying it. Not what we were expecting and happy to be here.

It's not a fancy place but we are enjoying it. Beds are comfy. Bathtubs are deep. TV works. We stayed in rm 316. Balcony over looks oyster bay. We got to see a Grey and black seal swimming under the water by the pipe this morning. They have breakfast you can gave it delivered to your room. Food is good. Staff is friendly. Thank you for having a available room. First time here. We're coming back here next time we come through.

Seemed ok from the pictures but the place is a mess. Was ok with a room without a view but ended up in a basement that smelled horrendously like smoke in the hallway and the room was musty and run down. The room seemed like it was missing furniture and had miss matched light bulbs in the fixtures if they even had bulbs in them. The shower wouldn’t even run hot water. The staff at the front were nice but the breakfast that’s included was not good. Overall would not stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel back in June as a last minute situation. The hotel as you can see from other comments is pretty outdated however, I have no complaints. They had a large decent selection of breakfast options they deliver to your door. Muffins, bagels, yogurt, fruit etc (no additional charge). Some newer fancier hotels don’t even offer that. I also appreciated that they completely separate smokers from non smokers by using two different hotel buildings (which all hotels did that lol). The staff were all very friendly and sweet and the view of the lake was beautiful. They also have full security cameras all over the business which made me feel safe as I was there alone. I would stay here again no problem.

Ok so it's an old hotel, but the beds were clean and it did it's job , old furniture, stained old couch like a frat house, and breakfast was delivered, the shower was clean and hot and had great soap. Overall the place is likely cleaner than the houses of all the people leaving bad reviews and it is not 200 a night. I would of been happier with a breakfast in a dining room. But the staff was nice and the parking lot had security cameras.

Truly awful. Ludicrously expensive for how unclean, uncomfortable and noisy it was. You know those motels in the movies where someone has to stay for a night when they’re down on their luck and they show grimy hallways and play screaming and sirens in the background to evoke how terrible the place is? That’s this place.

Rooms are outdated, but the price was great, the breakfast served to our room in the morning was a nice surprise. Balcony was a surprise and great to relax on.

All and all it was okay. A few problems, deadbolt was broken, vending machine was broken, and a lack of parking. That said, for the price, the room appeared clean, beach access was cool. Would stay there again.

Told that because the police need it sometimes, IDs are required of each occupant, and each visitor. Elevator was out of order "due to weather and high winds" in a two floor, near as I could acsertain, hotel. The room looked relatively decent though I am wondering why someone assembled the air conditioner with the thermostat sensor wire broken out, and then deliberately relocated outside the case.

Liked this hotel, Was shocked when I was accused of stealing two towels and two washcloths after me and my daughter stayed at this hotel for four days. Not so much the money that I was then charged ($35), more the accusations of theft towards myself, I am not sure who would steal hotel towels. I tried telling them I brought my own towels as I have four, colorful beach towels I bring with us when we travel, they did not seem to care. I even looked through my belongs to make sure my child maybe put them in our bags on accident. The accusations came more even off putting as the day prior the management had asked me to send a estimate to prune some trees for the hotel as I own a local tree service in the area. Hotel had a nice view, thanks.

The beds are hard, so be prepared for that, but you can tell this place is working to improve and upgrade what they have. The room was clean, but whatever cleaner they use is very strong. Breakfast is okay, but not the best. The location is decent and easy to find via gps.

The whole hotel was very sketchy. I was terrified to leave our truck in the parking lot all night and I thought we would go out it the morning and it would be gone. The bath towels were different shades of pink, one was stained blue. The wash clothes have seen their days and need to be replaced. The bottom sheet had two different stained and still put on the bed. The carpet was filthy. A white stain in the seat of the chair. I definitely felt like I had to shower even after I showered. We didn't know that it was a weekly rental type of hotel. I definitely had to sanitize the room and check for bed bugs, that's how I found the stains on the sheets. We booked 2 nights not knowing anything about this hotel and I asked for a late check out and the charged me extra. I'm pretty sure that we paid for 2 nights and a pet fee and late check out fee, it's what they charge for a weekly rate. I feel we should have only been charged $50 a night, no pet fee because the dog cant do anymore damage than there already is! And as far as the late check out... they should have been happy we stayed there. The bed was comfortable and that was a surprise. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. We stayed 6/10/22 for 2 nights room 319 Cathee H.
