Not very accommodating for a kitsap coop. Went there with a household member so could make sure membership would be good for all. Decided to pay for membership as well as make purchases. Was told needed to do membership online. The staff member appeared disinterested and mechanical. I have been a coop member though not here. I came from South Kitsap and this was far from welcoming. Love the store for its size but for the price and that experience... No thanks.

BTW, this Is not a Health Food Store; it's a smaller version of Sprouts. I solely miss the old co-op that was on 4th Street. I always felt welcome at that store. I never feel welcome at the co-op on Park avenue. They always assume that I am not a member. They never ask if I am a member when I'm at the checkout. I paid $200 for my membership. They are unfriendly, cold, distant. They have the highest prices in all of Western Washington. They were especially rude to me the last time I was there. I enjoy supporting the co-op but I'm not going to force myself on them.

I love how you can buy food made from local food producers within Kitsap County at the food co-op. It’s a small store and it’s owned by people in the community including myself. It was a great way to meet awesome people helping to open the store several years ago. I shop there weekly and I have great conversations when I’m in the store. Members can buy food in bulk, I bought almost 200 pounds of food from the co-op for a 2500 mile hike I did in 2021.

It's comfortably small and has nice bulk spices, the staff are friendly, and I can walk to the store from where I live rn. I even got a free tomato plant right outside during an event, it's growing on my porch so I think of this place often 😌 this place deserves a lot of love

Produce is of mediocre quality. Many items were going bad. I saw rotten mangoes being sold for a hefty price. I needed something for cooking and had to get semi-rotten cilantro for $3, of which I could probably only use a third of the bunch. The store clerk was extremely rude when I pointed it out that it was going bad and asked for a discount. I only went here because it's the only store five minutes from me but will likely not come back. It is super overpriced and there are moldy inedible produce items for sale.

Love this place! Good selection and prices considering how conveniently located it is. The produce quality is top notch and the staff are nice people.

Small locally sourced community store. Lots of bulk items (coffee, soap, cooking oils) that you can use by bringing your own container. Lots of community advertising and fresh produce. Staff was friendly. Also lots of community events advertised. EBT cards accepted

Awesome selection of vegetables, tasty fish options, and pretty good prices. Perfect spot to stop after hopping off the ferry!

😠 Be aware that they overcharge you! The menu prices do not reflect the actual prices, and I made the owner aware and she was dismissive. They have been overcharging customers since December 2021.
