Had to get the traditional gyro. Sad that mine was dry and tough but all my dinner companions had juicy tender and overflowing gyros. Get extra tzatziki on the side for the fries! Seating was quick. Waitress was efficient and helpful. To go order also done quickly. A decent deal for classic Greek food done well!!

We have ordered from Founaris Brothers and dined in their restaurant many many times. We have always considered it a local treat, and a diamond in the rough as we have taken many of our family members there, when they are in town. A lot of our family members cannot wait to come in town to try their huge Greek pizzas with all the extra sausage and feta and mushrooms! Our seven kids have grown up to enjoy ordering them on special occasions as they are a stand out and favorite in this community, as most can tell by their 4.6 star rating with over 1500 reviews. We encourage their staff to keep up the great work and family tradition that goes back many years. Great Greek pizzas and great tradition!

Had to try the pizza. Meh. Lots of dough. Fresh toppings but marinara almost non existent. Waitress was pleasant but we didn’t see much of her.

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday and the place was not very full so we were seated quickly. Our server Yasmeen was very nice, attentive and knew the menu well and answered all my questions. We started with the spanakopita appetizer and it’s was a good mix of spinach and feta cheese, nice flaky crust and the cheese crumbles on top were a nice touch. My wife ordered the gyro plate with potato wedges and said the meat was well seasoned and a very large portion. She liked the pita wedges on side so she could build her own portions. I ordered the pastitsio. Very interesting dish, kinda like a casserole with a crust. The slight taste cinnamon with macaroni and meat sauce filling with an omelette covering. Very large portion, taste overall was very subtle. Overall very good meal. We’ll be back to try the manicotti or the gyro pizza next time. Place was very clean and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Nice place to eat.

Alright, I've found it. Best place for pizza and gyuro pizza at that. Everytime we are in Pensacola we come here and it hits the spot everytime. I changed it up and got thee Seafood Florentine Totellini. Almost perfect but I think the sause was a bit separated. Still enjoyed. It a popular restaurant so there will be a bit of a wait but we'll worth it.

Some of the best Greek food I've had. Dip with chips was amazing.

Came here for lunch and had the Gyro bowl. So good. Mine is pictured without the tomatoes and onions. Everything here is good. The service, the food, the everything.

Great place to eat. Food is tasty. It is located in Car city in the heart of all the car dealerships in front of a hotel. They have various Greek dishes, Italian food with a Greek twist and really good pizza. Some of my favorites are the meatballs & Spanakopita. They have really good homemade Greek salad dressing. My dad loves the pizza ( super 7) marinara, mozzarella, black olives, onions, peppers, hamburger, pepperoni, mushrooms & feta cheese.

We love this place so much! They’re one of my first and top recommendations for someone who hasn’t been before! My personal favorite is the eggplant Parmesan (It usually has mozzarella on top, but I like to order mine without. I appreciate them accommodating my request!!) The eggplant is perfect to me! The flavor and texture, is unlike any other fried eggplant I’ve tried!! Delicious. And the fried ravioli, oh my goodness. I could eat them everyday, and I have eaten just them as my meal before lol because they’re that stinking good. My boyfriend really enjoys their meaty ziti! The bites I’ve had of his, can confirm, it’s great!! The gyro meat is so tender and tasty. I recommend their hummus as well, very fresh and yummy. In my opinion, there isn’t a thing you could order that wouldn’t be good. The restaurant is very cozy as well! Lastly, their prices are very fair considering the generous portions they serve and the quality of the food!! They deserve all the business and love! This is truly an outstanding place, with wonderful service, and staff that are so kind! We appreciate you!!!

We've been addicted to Founaris for 20 yrs. Muhammad, we LOVE you like family, and your wonderful sons. Your kindness during our grief was greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for all you've done. One day, perhaps te recipe to your Greek dressing would seal the deal?? People.. Try the Super 7, add gyro meat, and a large family size Greek salad. The wine and beer choices are excellent. Alexis, thx for great service!

Customer service was good. Pizza was a little dissapointing. Wasn't sure what to expect. Wasn't anything in description about all the lamb on top of meat pizza. For us folks that aren't Greek a better description would be appreciated. If we ever visit again we won't order Greek pizza. The other two small pizzas were ok.

There's been so much hype over Founaris Brothers but after visiting there on a weekday for lunch I wasnt impressed. Place was empty so we were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. Waitress was nice and told us about the menu. Asked for Greek beer and was told it wasn't a good seller so they stopped selling it. No worries, we ordered lemonades instead. Drinks were free refills so that's always nice. We ordered ravioli, moussaka and a small gyro pizza as the appetizer.. The ravioli was pretty good the sauce had good flavor. You get 3 cheeses and 3 meats. The gyro pizza was a fail. It was literally a slice of pizza with pieces of lamb on top. Some pieces of the lamb was hard others soft. Just wasn't what we were expecting. We also had the moussaka. Had to separate the layers to eat the better tasting parts, but altogether it was a fail. I have been to waaay better Greek restaurants in other cities so I'm aware of what good Greek taste like. Didnt get an authentic Greek feel or taste from Founaris, which was what we were looking for. Not impressed, didn't meet our expectations and won't be back.

Family of 5 of us, and after so many years, the food is still amazing. The service even better. Real family atmosphere. I ordered the Super 7 extra gyro meat, and...WOW! While I have been going for decades, it was everyone else in my family's first time. They were amazed, and we enjoyed the extras at home the next day. Was a great family night for us, thank you to all the staff!

My first visit. Had the chicken parmesan which was excellent. Tender chicken served with perfectly cooked spaghetti and tasty red sauce. Meal included at very nice salad and garlic bread. Table service was very good, except the server should have provided grated cheese or asked me if I wanted some. She sped off before I could ask her, but I still enjoyed the meal.

As a long time local resident, I grew up on Founaris Brothers. I moved away 3 years ago, so of course this restaurant is always on my places to visit when I come back home. Once again, they did not disappoint! Everything was phenomenal, as always. From the cheese wheel, to the baked spaghetti, to the tiramisu. Founaris Bros will forever be one of my faves!

This is a Pensacola staple. It's been here forever. Looks like it too, but I'm here for food not atmosphere. My favorite places are usually trucks on the side of the road. So who really cares. I've never been blown away, but never had bad food here either. Perhaps greek is just not my go to. Gyros are always great though, the only reason I really come here. But a good Gyro, is a good Gyro. Not a whole lot more you can do. You can make a burger a million ways, not so much with Gyros. Gyro meat. Check. Pita bread. Check. Sauce. Check. Tried the greek egg rolls. Great idea but needs work. The stuffing is bland, needs some spices, and if you put the sauce on it, you won't taste the egg roll at all. Had the manicotti of the day, was very good. Prices are good for portion size. Can't really go wrong I guess, especially if you are a Greek lover. Might sound silly, but they have great water

The service and food were great. Our first time here, and I would come back again. Gyro sandwich and Gyro plate. Tzikiki sauce is delicious

The food is always fresh and amazing. The hummus is the best around and you can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu. Service is outstanding as well.

I ordered chicken fettuccine, chicken was sliced and dry buried under the pasta and a glop of sauce with two half pieces of sandwich bread for garlic bread. The garlic bread was the best part. I didn’t eat the chicken I ate a part of the noodles with the cheese glop. I ordered tiramisu it was very sad and dried out. I wish I would have thought to take a picture of the pasta; Years ago when I ate here it was really great. I am sad to say that is not so anymore. The waitstaff isn’t very observant and overall I take away a lesson not to visit again. Sad, once upon a time it was so good.

Fantastic food, amazing service (our server was so sweet). We didn't have to wait long at all for our food! The gyro was DELICIOUS, the fries are some of my favorite from any restaurant, and my husband said the meatballs were amazing. I'll definitely be back!

Came in right before closing (didn't know) but everyone was still very attentive and helpful. I just wanted a quick snack before a movie around the corner so I got fried ravioli and gyro egg rolls, and my girl got a roast beef sandwich. All 3 items were absolutely fantastic, especially the egg rolls. I've had my two fried items when I was in Greece last year and these are spot on. Looking forward to coming back and trying the Pastitsio to see how it compares!

First I would like to apologize for the picture. I know it is not at all flattering but please don’t let that stop you. Had lunch here and this was such a great little spot. I ordered the Gryo Sandwich, it had slices of Gyro, tsatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, feta, and their house dressing. It came with fries and a pickle spear. Everything was spot on and my meal was under $8. So if you are looking for the best bang for your buck, you won’t find much better.

Did not like their pizza at all! It wasn't cooked well. The cheese wasn't melted, the pizza was soggy, and it tasted like a doctored up store bought pizza (complete with cardboard underneath). Their fried mushrooms were pretty good though!

21 AUGUST 2021 We just ate there for our 2nd time. We both had the Gyro sandwich. It was awesome!!... it was really good! Had small meatballs (4) as an appetizer. Wish some bread came with it... but excellent nonetheless! ***** ***** ***** ***** We set out to have a gyro and this was where we ended up after we did our Googling. The place was clean from the parking lot to the restroom. To me this an indication of how the hidden kitchen is maintained. The decor of the restaurant appeared confused with no Greek flavor. I did not expect much of the food with the eclectic decor. Weirdly placed crystal chandeliers in a large underutilized entry area? The gyro we received was not as expected because it arrived on the table divided into all the ingredients separately placed. It was kind of like making a Greek taco. The meal was very good. The side order of French ($1.50 extra) fries were also uniquely flavored and tasty. Service was also very good. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. I give the restaurant 5 stars for service and food... but not for the lack of a Greek theme in the building. I would gladly eat there again.

This is one of my favorite spots to eat at in Pensacola. I've been here countless times, and I have never had a bad experience. My favorite appetizers are the meatballs. The sauce is amazing. And for entrees, I love the gyro bowl or gyro plate. 10/10 AAA+++
