Great quality equipment all well spaced out. Gym is clean and well set up. Nice to have a 24/7 gym in the centre of Chester. Also a really great selection in the Vending Machines all there to properly cater for Gym Goers.

So happy to be member of the best gym ever, great atmosphere, amazing staff, all machines brand new so all in great condition and label it showing you how to use it. All the staff always happy to help you in anything you need.

It is so much more than a just gym in Chester its a family I highly recommended for every and anyone tidy equipment and facilities. Warm and welcoming staff. You are guaranteed to always feel at home here.

Highly recommend The Gym Group. It's got a good selection of equipment, always clean and the staff are very friendly. Opened 24/7, The Gym Group allows me to be flexible with my time. I no longer feel the pressure of having to choose between social events and workouts.. I can do both! Through the gym, I was able to get in touch with my current personal trainer, Gus Garlinge-Price. He's exceptional at what he does and he's very friendly.

Gym itself is great it's clean and has awesome equipment, however it does need policing more with the stupid tripods and "influencer" nonsense that goes on also a dress code... This ain't hooters there should be rules on how much skin you got on show you are there to workout after all. Stars lost due to absolutely trash door system of pin and qr code. It's so temperamental and trying to use the call button to help is a waste of time it's never answered. Also the invite a friend feature sucks when you can't gain access with the code the send you. Need a fob instead like pure gym it's just easier and reliable

Its very disappointing that The Gym Group use AI to answer questions instead of a human agent. The AI simply grasped the keyword of the email content and replied with model answers, however those answers were not relevant to my original question. What a shame ! Don't you have human agent anymore?

The gym is really big and spacious. The gym has all the equipment needed for all exercises. The gym is open 24 hours a day which is really good and helpful. The staff is really nice and helpful they are also well trained. The gym is always clean and tidy

V. good gym with quality equipment, all at a reasonable price. However they need to stop people using mobile phones. There are kids in there sitting on machines not working out, watching movies on their mobile phones when people are waiting to use the equipment.

The gym group is absolutely the best gym in Chester, it is affordable and comes with good membership benefits. The place is always neat and tidy, toilets and dressing rooms are really tidy and well kept, it's staffs friendly and makes you feel right at home. I enjoy their free classes and the benefits that comes with being a member, I will highly recommend this gym to everyone.

Love the classes, especially Dave's HIIT Class! He is extremely motivating and always positive. He helps us to get the most out of our time here at the gym group.. Highly recommended!

I relocated back to Chester and I was really pleased that they decided to open a gym up in the area. I’ve been a member of the Cheltenham gym for years and I still am. They offer a multi location membership, that’s really useful if you work in different locations. The staff are super friendly at both branches. The Chester gym has a fantastic selection of equipment and machines so there’s plenty of options to really mix up your training routine. I’ve been to a few classes and they were good fun. I’d definitely recommend this gym, it’s light, airy and there’s a great energy there. I’ve certainly made some new friends. 😊😊😊

This is a well equipped new gym, with plenty of free weights in three different areas, separate areas for mat work, and a mezzanine floor where classes take place. There are duplicate workstations so it is always possible to do your chosen exercise, whether it be with a free weight, cable, or mechanical resistance. The gym is staffed during the day and is open 24/7/ 365, so if you are a shift worker or insomniac, you can train anytime you want. The gym is clean and so far well maintained and the staff are friendly. The membership is very competitive, with classes included even with the basic membership.

Perfect 24/7 gym with free parking! Plenty of space and great equipment selection. Busy in the evenings, but it's always clean and well-managed. It's revolutionized my fitness routine. Highly recommended

Very enjoyable gym experience. Even at its busiest there never seems to be any issues getting on the machines. Also very good air conditioning on hot days

I am new to the gym and felt very welcome from the start - I was shown around the gym by the manager who picked up on me looking a bit lost! I joined classes on my first two days and they were held in a friendly and inclusive manner. The gym is super clean with loads of new equipment. Parking has been no problem for me in the mornings, even though spaces appear limited. The area used for classes upstairs is a bit limited, and the classes could interfere with other gym goers training there, but there was plenty of space downstairs with similar free weights equipment when I joined a class. I would argue that is better to offer the area used for classes up for other uses during most of the day, even if this means some restrictions while classes are on.

Great! Lots of equipment and not too busy. People do stack their weights after use, which is helpful. Only occasionally do users do super-setting, that's good as that can be annoying.

Love the gym group and have been a member for a couple years now, moved to Chester and this gym conveniently opened at the same time so perfect. Compared to the ones I’ve been to in plymouth at the same price there’s some stuff I use that’s not here and a lot less mirror space and benches. It’s still a nice and clean gym and obviously you get all the benefits you get with all the gym group gyms. One thing that has annoyed me is that floor space in unavailable upstairs when classes are on, I rudely got kicked downstairs by a staff member saying I’m not allowed upstairs unless I join in. In the other gyms I’ve been in it’s not been a problem and they just let me know there’s a session starting and I move to be out the way. I could join in yes however I prefer to do my own thing. I love the gym nonetheless and I fully recommend it, just being brutally honest and comparing to past experiences so the 3 star rating is in comparison to the other gym group gyms I’ve been to.
