Its a relatively new cultural space that encourages a bit of interactivity. Once you have had a look, then you could find the block with names that relate to you and your family. Unfortunately the street vendor tried to rip us off as soon as he heard a foreign accent. He definitely wasn't good at Maths either.

This is a wonderful tribute to the people that nuil this great nation, Barbados 🇧🇧. Pride and Industry. We need to celebrate where we came from as we strive to be better.

This is just awesome!! A wide open public space with elements of history, both ancient and modern. There are also covered areas with provision for sitting and relaxation. The wall of names is a great attraction, and every resident who visits is sure to find their surname and those of their ancestors.

Cool area to visit in Bridgetown. Love the wall art and the area is open and very spacious. The memorial wall is incredible. The stage is for performances or bands.

This was cool to see all. This shows all the last names of the families that live on the island. I'm not from this country and I saw my last name on the wall. Super super cool. Soemthing you can visit. This has no cost.

I had no idea this park existed until a local shop owner took us over to it. It was a highlight of our last day on the island and finding mentions of my family name was an important way for me to increase my connection to my ancestors on the island.

It a very beautiful historic site. The atmosphere is great. The place itself is very clean and beautiful. Many seating areas. It's also a good place to sit and chill. Definitely recommend.
