Lovely ambient restaurant with sea views and wonderful staff and service. We caught the sun going down and our server offered to take a picture without prompting. A really nice meal and a good busy vibe on a Friday evening. We have rebooked.

I’ve been here more times than I can count, including for a wedding. What a great location. My most recent visit was for Mother’s Day and it was one of the first times going out since COVID and having a baby and I was not disappointed that we selected here, the food was exceptionally delicious, especially our main courses (see pictures below). I would recommend for a nice lunch so you can enjoy the food and the go for a walk on the boardwalk after.

Visited The Beach House in 2019 and enjoyed the evening. Was great to revisit and see the changes that have been made. Wow, the food was superb and such good value. We had a lovely night, lovely setting, great service with all that on top of the amazing food, this place is a must visit. The Rum Baba dessert is also a must try. Will look forward to returning on my next visit to the island.

The good and service was good. But the place is avg and over priced in my opinion, nothing exceptional about it. There was live music, again the had a lot of service staff that were attentive.

This is one of my favorite spots in Barbados because not only is the food good but its nicely done, great ambiance and plenty of space. Very relaxing on an early Sunday evening.

It’s a lovely spot and the food is nice if not a little dated. It seems to draw an older crowd and I think it’s probably very well targeted but I’d say nothing special whilst there’s also nothing to complain about. It’d be nice to see something a little less ‘classical’ and bit more modern. Compared to a number of restaurants we visited on this trip I thought it was on the expensive side whilst the menu wasn’t as good. Again, nothing bad about it, nice service, decent food but just a little dated and overpriced. Staff were all lovely, worth noting!

A fantastic meal once again. Paul Owens has been the best dinning experience in Barbados. The location is amazing, the food is spectacular with innovative presentations, and the service is attentive but not intrusive.

Things looked promising on arrival: shown immediately to a table in the bar area and good cocktails were served promptly. Shown to table on periphery of restaurant to hear music from Paul Owen's in one ear contrasted with music from the next door establishment in the other. Not pleasant! Three members of staff talking to each other nearby but nobody came to take our order. We were ignored until we asked to be moved to another table when things improved somewhat. Food is good. Service is poor. Would not recommend and won't be going back.

Excellent food and service

What a magical evening we had at Paul Owens at The Beach House! We can now officially say that we properly celebrated our milestone birthdays (big 5-0) and everything else that we missed over the past few years. The food was amazing, the service was off the charts, the view was breathtaking (we didn't want to leave) and our super attentive waiter even brought us a belated birthday treat to cap off a spectacular night! If Barbados is part of your travel plans, you must treat yourself to this experience! 🍽️🍷♥️

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Fernando and the entire team were a delight…they were personable and attentive. The meal was exquisite…sea scallops to start, curry shrimp and catch of the day entrees. Surprise anniversary dessert. Setting is right on the water with beautiful view. The ambiance is very comfortable…upscale without be pretentious. Great vibe. Looking forward to returning. Highly recommended. PS the drink is called A Bajan Ting…fantastic. Thank you for your wonderful contribution to our 35th wedding anniversary.

Lovely place. We booked last minute for Sunday lunch and managed to get a table looking over the sea. Valet parked the car. Service and food amazing. Tandoori seared Tuna delicious, followed by catch of the day

What let it down were the little things you expect in a fine dining restaurant After having to sit in the bar(which was not a problem), there was no offer to carry our drinks to the table once it was ready to be seated Didn't off to pull my wifes chair out. we had to wait for 20 mins for the drink order Waited an hour for our starters. Might sound petty, but when you are paying top dollar, it is the small things you expect.

Paul's menu and food is very like the Cliff used to be. Imaginative, beautifully presented 'real' food that tastes divine. The staff were fantastic, service excellent and the setting was beautiful. Loved everything about it.

The place looks really nice. On the water, very modern beachy, art deco style but the food left a lot to be desired. I had the oak leaf salad for starter which was very nice but the pear could have been tinned not poached for all I knew. I, and three of my fellow diners opted for the Penne Pasta with Chicken, vegetables, garlic cream sauce, aged parmesan for $105 Barbadian (I hope.) Well, there were about 15 bits of penne and a shed load of veg and a bit of chicken which, to be honest, both looked like they’d come out of a frozen pack! The sauce was watery and sat at the bottom of the bowl rather than coating the 15 bits of penne. It was so bad we got 75% of the cost for the 4 plates deducted from the bill. Our other friends had the fish and said it was nice. But we were paying so they may have been being polite. All in all, I’d rather have had a bacon sarnie and saved the money

This was surprisingly very nice. I just tried it on a whim but no regrets and I want to go back. Go early for the sunset. I digress but a waitress came running up to my friend while we were making our way out and gave her a 100 dollar bill my friend had dropped while paying. Just very noteworthy for me.

Scallops over cooked and chewy, staff and chef incredibly rude. 3 dishes given normal mash instead of truffle and the chef argued with us. Shame as such a beautiful location, will not be returning.

Would have given 5* but we queried our bill and they admitted there was a $90 error, but it was a reduction not a charge. So they ended up charging us the higher amount. Any restaurant I've been to where this has happened they would apologise for the mistake and give you it at the lower rate. Probably one of the most expensive restaurants I've been to, it was ok. Food was fantastic, ambient music was spot on. Servers and restaurant manager for customer service was lacking.

Just had dinner with friends. The food was good quality but not exceptional. The space is big but was never full during the evening. Thus it is not clear why we could not get our preferred time slot. The price was indicating superb food and superb service. But that did not happen

We were over charged. Quoted Special of Day $42 but charged $64 for Catch of Day. Waiter admitted his mistake but would not adjust the bill. We would not have ordered it at that price. We walked away feeling ripped off.

Wonderful experience

Idyllic setting, but dire (albeit edible) food. Coconut shrimp was tasteless, pork ribs tough and swimming in artificial sticky bbq sauce served with soggy chips (fried at wrong temperature). Presentation wholly lacking, service lackadaisical at best. Shame.

Lovely beach front bar and restaurant in the heart of Holetown. Reasonably priced drinks and lovely food. Very good for special events.
