Great food and a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit but don’t be put off by first (outside) impressions.

Literally the only place I want to eat when I'm in Barbados. What I love about Coffy's is the variety of food and natural juices, the fact he uses herbs and spices and not salt, and that he is open on days that everything else is closed. His food makes my holiday!

What a fantastic local restaurant! Being new to the area it was a little intimidating entering, not knowing what the food would be or the set up, but the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They proactively offered up descriptions of everything from the ten dishes and weren’t stingy with the servings! The food itself was hot, full of flavour and a great insight into local cuisine. The decor and interior might be basic, but that’s in keeping with the local vibe, and there’s a choice of seating by the bar area or a separate area complete with TV screen. If you’re in the area then I’d highly recommend coming here; it was only because of a short stay that I didn’t return again myself!

I asked for a combo plate and it did not disappoint! The curry beef is tender flavorful and the fried chicken is seasoned to perfection. Everything on my plate was wonderful! The service was amazing and the atmosphere is vibrant.

Great smelling food! Came here because sage was shut. The food was really good, freshly cooked. Chef who knew what he was about. No coffee but hey, you can't have everything. One of the best experience we had and certainly bajun cooking.

Food is great and they serve carib beer, our favourite. Been a couple of times for just beer but came for lunch today as the food has always smelt good. I had macaroni bake and Glen had shepherds pie. Both delicious. Wish I'd got a little spoon I'd scalloped potatoes now, that looked awesome.

Great bajan food at affordable prices. Fried chicken and rum punch recommended. Hospitality also very welcoming with the owner Coffey even giving us a lift in his car to the bus station after our meal.

Really nice food, great size portion, price was affordable too. The owner/bartender was really pleasant to interact with as well. 100% recommended, don't expect fine dining but rather some great and authentic local food.

Don’t you dare get put off by the ‘pick your own’ style buffet they have on offer. Packed with locals and for A very good reason. There was 3 different mains to choose from and a smorgasbord of ‘starches’ to pick from. Please try their Mac pie.. it’s cheesy and delicious! And to top off the whole experience Mr Coffey is there serving it all up. Get yourself down with a Banks and eat up!

Great Bajan lunch with 🍺, friendly and welcoming, recommended as a good stop off to and from the Area, visited George Washington House and the museum, recommended, loving Barbados.

Absolutely terrible "Old Years Night-new years eve" experience. From the moment we arrived:- no reservation in our party name, so a last minute table on the beach was set up - with a (wait for it) black garbage bag as a table cloth, we should have left by then. But we gave them a chance.... In short, the worse NYE ever... terrible service, until the end, when good staff finally arrived. The female bar tender was incredibly rude. It rained - we moved our own table. The food - shockingly bad. Arrived at nearly 10pm. No cutlery, so my husband ate his cold soup without spoon! My appetiser was inedible. My husband didn't get a main course at all. Ours was cold and average. None of us got the desert or glass of Prosecco promised. The wine was like vinegar. The bar service very slow. The music was awful. Not the band advertised. The only saving Grace was the fireworks at midnight on the beach. The toilets were terrible. The whole venue is not a BISTRO - no clue about service or food. A total disappointment.

Ok, this is a small restaurant near the city, and across the street from one of the most beautiful beaches. The food was amazing and the service was great. You can "take-out" your meal, or order and sit inside the restaurant. Great place for local food at a reasonable price.

Some of the best authentic home cooked food I've had in the Caribbean, hands down, and I have family in Trinidad and visit/eat there often. Trust me, you will not regret Coffy's if you have a cultured palate.

Coffy's is a great little spot for local food! The owner is so nice and gracious, he explained all the options and even gave me his recipe for pepper sauce. It's a unique feel because of the scoop/cafeteria style of ordering, but trust me it's worth it. The food was very tasty and you're getting a real experience of Barbados, not just the touristy side.

Despite limited choices in the off season, I highly recommend this place! The food was delicious! Best fish in Barbados!

DELICIOUS! Some of the best food Barbados' south coast has to offer! Coffy and Javiel are nice, warm and welcoming - they've really become like family. Great rotating menu. Good place to have a drink, grab some great Caribbean food and "lime". Perfect location across from Browne's Beach. Also, check out karaoke on Thursday nights!
