2-3 minute walk to the beach, lots of food choices close by. Staff is excellent, very friendly. Rooms are well maintained. The only thing is...there's 1 sheet to wrap yourself in, I am used to a big blanket. (Not a complaint, just not what I'm used to) Small pool for a nice dip to cool off.

I am a single woman traveling alone and I just visited Barbados and stayed at the Melbourne Inn for 3 weeks and loved it. This is the perfect area to stay with beautiful beaches and tons of really great restaurants. The hotel is set off the main road so it is quieter than the others. The staff are all wonderful and made me feel welcome. The room had a kitchenette and there is a mini mart a block away and that helps save money. The shower was great, the fridge was quiet, and the A/C was excellent. The wifi was perfect too. I am a digital nomad and had zoom meetings and calls every week day with no issues at all. I will be coming back in a few months and staying here too.

My favorite place to stay while I'm in Barbados! The rooms are clean, very comfortable, and the staff is amazing. They went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Melbourne for anyone visiting Barbados. I honestly give this place a 5 Star rating ! I can't wait to return !

My stay here was wonderful, the rooms are clean and cozy with everything you need to make yourself comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Special shoutout to Larissa, there was also another young lady but I didn't get her name. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend.

Excellent hotel. Its self catering so I can't give them 5 stars for service, and thecrokms are very clean and basic. A family run business and they are very decent, honest and friendly.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay. The staff was very accomodating and hospitable. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. It is in a prime location close to the beach, amenities and public transport. Would definitely recommend staying as it is very affordable!

I only stayed two nights due to being in transit but it's perfect for that. Just off the well beaten path off the famous St.Lawrence Gap and nestled behind Sandals resort, it's perfect for short stay and budget conscious business persons. Staff was very friendly and helpful so 5 stars.

The rooms were exceptionally clean with a free option of bedding change every two days. The people at the front desk assisted me with tour bookings, taxis, restraunt reservations and the best ways to get to the beach. We loved having the pool option as well. We had a great stay and we will be back for sure!

Stayed at this venue for about 12 nights very enjoyable stay staff very friendly never had to ask about my room getting cleaned staff were only to helpful to offer this to me whenever they see me room more than adequate and we were never rushed when checking out would recommend this place to anyone thank you Melbourne Inn

Loved our stay at the Melbourne Inn… Great location with all the restaurants and nightlife of the gap all within easy walking distance from the hotel while still being far enough to be quite and peaceful. The room was clean and had a great balcony to enjoy sit and relax on. But hat really impressed us was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff , especially Makita who was always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed! The pool was inviting and well maintained and towels provided for use in the pool or for the short walk to Dover beach. We would highly recommend this well run hotel….they truly care about their guests and it’s terrific value for your vacation dollar… Hope to return soon

We came in from the UK expecting to quarantine at home but ended up here. Reception was good, all protocols in place. The staff made our stay as comfortable as they could, under the circumstances.

Clean, well-located, and quiet (except for the occasional rooster). The staff are pleasant and see to all your needs. The pool was a nice touch because the beach was very busy.

The staff at Melbourne Inn were helpful-hats off to Cherise, here is someone who when payment did not go through initially was accommodating enough to wait for us to speak to our credit card company and held the reservation for us. On arrival was another amazing Shaniqua-patient with my husband and I as we were exhausted (had traveled from Scotland to Manchester to catch our flight). It appears that when God created the Bajan people, an extra portion of kindness was sprinkled onto them- we are 3 days inn and I dare you to beat the spirit of the people here. Here’s to the 1st of many trips to Barbados❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nice little hotel with spacious and well equipped rooms aswell as comfortable and private balconies. Beach, mini mart and restaurants are just a few minutes walking away. Bus stop is about 7 minutes walking. Overall, great value for money and I would recommend this over the expensive beachfront hotels.
