A treasure trove of bargains in the city. Lower cost domestic hand tools and DIY kit to be had. Ask about building materials, windows and door. A spin off of one of the islands oldest retail establishments. Definitely give them a look when looking at large projects. Toys and games can be found there long after xmas. Lockdown friendly atmosphere for the DIY specialist. In house are stationary, paint equipment, paints, bathroom, electrical, automotive tools, soft furnishings, jewelry, construction equipment and many other bits to keep you occupied. Just ask the many knowledgeable staff who are always not more than a few feet away.

This store is extremely dusty and nasty. The staff are very nice and helpful but management is extremely rude and obnoxious and shouts at staff in front of customers. Most of the stuff is old and broken. I rate them a 0 out of 5 Had to hit a star to post

Plenty of all kind of things there, but, place is a mess...nowhere to park properly as carpark is full of broken down vehicles and aisles are full of boxes. Other wise, plenty of good stuff that is hard to find.

As the name identifies . The builder, housewife,hobbists and the handyman can all find items here. Sometimes it take time but eventually you can get things not found any other place. I shop there often as its just out of town.

They dont open at 9am its a lie. They open mins to 10am..i did get what i went for with the help of one pleasant lady ..all staff are not that courteous. As expected they have a variety of stuff and boxes blocking the aisles not the neatest of places..trip hazzards ..fire hazzards maybe thats why service etc is so poor

Place has a lot of stuff, but the isles are always clogged up with a lot of boxes and the parking lot full of junk, so cannot find a proper place to park

Builder Value is one of those places you enter and say in amazement..." wait... there is a lot of stuff in here". It is literally chock full of all sorts of stuff, so much so, it's a little scary. The staff assigned to each section were pleasant and helpful and clearly were very familiar with what was in their areas of responsibility and where to easily find what you are looking for. If you don't mind the overly crowded warehouse, you could have fun browsing the amazingly large selection. Here are some of the things I recall seeing:- appliances, curtains, curtain rods, pots and pans, kitchen stuff, storage containers, mops, mop bucket, building materials- doors, windows, plumbing and, electrical supplies, toilet bowls, faucets, sinks, electrical tools of all types, paints, brushes, locks, all sorts of hardware items etcetera, etcetera ...... I am exhausted just typing this. Lol.
