Accept for few miniature things, we had an amazing stay. The majority of staff was so welcoming, paying attention to our needs.. our room was in excellent condition. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and showed they really cared. Hotel was in great condition overall and it was quite place and secluded for a perfect privacy. They did not have a jacuzzi in the pool area which was a bummer but we still really enjoyed it.

Room was clean. Stay was kinda noisy but that's OK. The crime is the 2 ladies at the front desk penalizing me for an early check out. I informed them after my one night's stay that I would be leaving the next day. The clerk with glasses told me she couldn't give me a receipt because I booked a reservation for a month. They also charged me a $20 deposit. Then she said, because I'm checking out, that I won't be able to ever come back. WHY WOULD I??? A reservation is a reservation. That's it's!! This is not an apartment complex. I told her I was here for work and my work moves me around. You just cancel the reservation and charge me for the one night. I'm with a government agency. Do not use this hotel for long term business. She doesn't even know her tax rate. Poor customer service. As a business you should always be able to provide a receipt. But she's mad because I'm not going to be there as long as my original date. Then, she told the other clerk to document that "customer is aware she can't check back in"...who does that?? This makes the entire stay TRASH, in my opinion.

We had a wonderful stay here! This location was clean, quiet and provides great customer service. I was always greeted when entering and exiting the building. The breakfast served everyday was very good. The gym has all the basic equipment you need to get in a good workout and even includes a Peloton. There are plenty of places to work or lounge downstairs. The rooms are a nice size and the shower felt heavenly. This location has easy access to major highways and the airport. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was nice, clean and has a well lit parking area. As a female traveling alone, that is very important. There were restaurants nearby that were open late. The staff were friendly and I love the digital check in and out. The bed was comfortable. The room was really nice and modernized. If I had to pick one "bad" thing, this location does not give out free water to Hilton Honors members like several of the other Hampton hotels. But overall, a very nice stay. Would recommend and I plan to come back.

This hotel owes me approximately $1300! We prepaid 3 stays while being in Chicago to care for my mother who is undergoing cancer treatment. The hotel double charged for all three stays and even after providing proof, they have only refunded one of them. Do not for any reason prepay for this hotel, even if it's less expensive.

Amazing stay at this hotel, and the hot breakfast was so much better than most other places Iā€™ve stayed in at this price point. I stayed here for a few days during a very tough time, and coming back to this hotel every night was very comforting and relaxing despite everything going on in my outside life. I was so glad I chose a place to sleep that at least made me feel safe, comfortable, and the shower was seriously spa-like. Canā€™t recommend enough!

It's better than many of the other options in the area, but not the quality I've come to expect from Hampton Inn. If it was a Red Room Inn I'd give it 5 stars, but I didn't pay for a Red Roof Inn, I paid for a Hampton. Room was clean, but there was a washcloth from a previous guest hanging in the bathroom. Bathroom door wasn't hung properly so it didn't close all the way. Also, there was a vomit smell in one of the elevators..The breakfasts was solid and staff was friendly enough.. Overall a pretty good experience.

Absolutely great experience! Everything was very clean & staff went out of their way to help with some special needs. Sarah put out one of the best hotel breakfasts we have seen in a long time; and she kept a busy kitchen/dining area clean and well stocked all soloā€¦was always moving and smiling.

My family and I booked here for Summer Smash 2023 and the location, room, and hotel staff were 5 stars. The hotel staff did an amazing job with organization and security of the event in the hotel and outside premises. The hotel is very modern and has an upbeat , welcoming culture. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this location with 5 stars!

Very clean, friendly staff, great breakfast. A couple smoking areas outside, including a covered area for when it rains. Decent fitness area. Small and very hot pool so we skipped that part! Great location. Close to a lot of great food. We enjoyed our stay from Tn.

Look at the videoā€¦ 9:30 no breakfastā€¦ manager was very ignorant. She was busy with other guest or her friends. I have always stayed with the Hiltonā€™s I am part of the reward system. I love Hilton but this was unbelievable.

Always a good time never a problem free hot tea coffee hot chocolate all day and night is a bonus plus a warm pool. And breakfast. You can easily walk to two restaurants an ice cream shop and a pretty nice size bar and grill. And a smoke shop.

The road noise from the street right outside the window is SO LOUD. Stayed for 3 nights, slept for maybe 4 hours total due to the noise, with almost zero sleep the first night. Semi trucks with cargo containers hit the pot holes in the road all night long creating loud thundering sounds in the room that even a sound machine canā€™t drown out. A plus was hot coffee ready in the morning right outside the elevator and pleasant hotel staff, but that doesnā€™t fix a terrible nights sleep.

Pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Candace was a delight. It was hot out and the staff handed out bottles of water to our family. Room was spotless and the entire facility was clean and nice. Great proximity to the stadium. We will be back.

My room wasn't very clean but it was spacious and comfortable. The staff was great all around. Really appreciated the great customer service and it's consistency. The shuttle does not run on weekends and is by request during the week. The location isn't great for people that don't have a car but there's a bus right across the hotel that will take you to the train station. Also, you can get the shuttle during the week to MDW and catch the orange line to Downtown Chicago.

Didnā€™t even check out before writing this review! This was an amazing hotel, very clean, spacious and the staff is Oh so friendly! Itā€™s a great location just about a half hour from downtown. The breakfast is amazing and they do a great job of making sure the dining/breakfast area stays clean. I will definitely be back here in April with my party of 50+. Definitely recommend!

This hotel was overall quite nice and I think I would return. The staff was all very accommodating, kind and friendly which is difficult to find these days. They were on time with the breakfast opening and helped me with all the questions I had. The rooms look to be partially renovated which gave them a nice/newer feel upon arrival. After a few hours in the room I did start to notice some signs of neglect such as deep dents in the walls and a large patch of water damage in the ceiling causing the wallpaper to peel away. It wasnā€™t a big deal for me but it could be to some others. I still found the room clean and comfortable. I informed the front desk and they were apologetic. They do have an airport shuttle however it has hours. When I was there it was M-F 7-3 so donā€™t rely on it if you have a weekend or evening flight. Additionally, the location was much farther from the airport than I expected it to be. It took us approximately 17 minutes from the front door to the terminal and it cost me $20+ for the ride share. Overall nice and for a good price I would be happy to return.

Stay was overall great. Staff is very nice. Pretty clean. Walking distance to restaurants and gas stations. Pool area is small and was taken over by kids so we were not able to use it at all during our stay. We were given a room upgrade since we were staying there for a quick anniversary getaway. That was much appreciated. We would stay there again.

I have stayed here 3xs over the last 3 years. Itā€™s in a great location. The hotel is clean, rooms are nice, and complimentary breakfast is good. I will definitely stay again when I come back to Chicago. Staff is very nice!

The front desk staff was super helpful last weekend, Saturday July 22 around 4 pm. I have 3 names but can only read 2.. Daniella, Emily, and another woman thatā€™s name starts with an A. We appreciate your help and assistance. Other note the rooms were clean, pillows and bed was super comfy, and the location was great for the venue to walk to.

The hotel itself is clean and nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Could use more toilet paper and towels in the rooms, especially if the stay is for more than two nights. And it would help if the breakfast changed up a little and the coffee was hot everyday.

Daniela at the front desk was FANTASTIC! She went above and beyond. She personally made us "to-go breakfast bags" since we were flying out early and she thought of everything. Great friendly and positive attitude as she greeted people at the front.

The location of the Hotel is secluded but in the open at the same time. There are amazing places to eat within walking distance(2 minutes). The staff was AMAZING! I was there for a business engagement at the Community College and I have to say, I am staying there again for a Conference in a few weeks due to the excellent service from the staff. I highly recommend this property for friendly service and clean rooms!! Everyone is so friendly from the manager down to the shuttle drivers. Did I mention they have a shuttle to and from the airport?

Conveniently located next to Seat Geek Stadium, the Hampton Inn and Suites was clean, comfy and convenient. We rented the conference room for a family gathering which worked out really well . After the soccer āš½ļø game, we returned to the rented room and carried on . The Breakfast inthe morning was wonderful! I'd highly recommend the friendly atmosphere of thus hotel !

My wife and I got stranded in Chicago on Christmas due to the Southwest flight cancellations. We were so well taken care of and the front desk attendant was super nice. He recommended a good restaurant and kindly gave us some treats from the hotel.

Great stay & looking forward to going back. Newly updated rooms with smart room access as well as Netflix & Tubi. Also I left my bathroom bag & after I called they had & offered to shop but since I was in area after my day I returned. Friendly staff as well.

I loved the room it was decently clean the breakfast was descent but no syrup for waffle station. The receptionist are nice some need more training. I tried calling down to front desk around 7pm and received no answer after multiple calls. overall customer service could definitely be better! I donā€™t recommend the restaurants around the area with the exception of krave they are pretty good. The building is fairly clean, over all I would say itā€™s great for on the budget trips but if you have the money itā€™s worth it to get better accommodations.

Love love love it. As a business traveler I have low requirements but high hopes. This place exceeded my expectations at all points. The room was great, the breakfast was great , the fitness center was great, the place is just great.

My husband is staying here for his job. He is said on numerous occasions how great the front desk staff is. Bree and the other gentleman go out of their way for their guests. This is really important when you are at a hotel 20 out of 30 days a month. Awesome way to serve!

Always excellent service, today was no exception! I reserved wrong dates for a future stay and Front desk rep Brittany corrected the reservation with a smile and answered all my other questions. Best hotel in the southwest burbs, near Midway airport!

Everyone was so nice and welcoming, especially Ms. Ruby. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was great and they had free water throughout the day. It was one of the best experiences I have had at a Hampton Inn. The rooms also seemed to have been upgraded. Highly recommend.

Staff is so kind and accommodating. Clean, up to date, easy to access. Breakfast was great with lots of selections, and staff allowed me to make a small plate to take to the late sleepers still upstairs. Sherry at the desk is amazing. Great hidden gem.

I stayed 2 nights over memorial weekend expecting to be able to enjoy the pool, that didn't happen. It was so cold that even the kids were shivering and not staying in the water. The TV was going out cause the picture was half dark where y couldn't see everything. 400 dollars for 2 nights. I expected more comfort

I have cancer and when i made my reservations asked if they could accommodate and let us checknin earlier as soon as we got in to town so i could restvand take my meds. They said yes. We came into town around noon 1 room was ready and they were working on the 2nd one. We said it was fine we would rest a little then go get something to eat and come back. Around 330pm we went down to get the key to the second room and it STILL wasn't ready. So then they switched the room to a different floor. My original request was to have both rooms together so I could be close to my kids. The key wasn't working they had to reboot the system and let us in the room with a master key untill they could get the keys working. No discount or anything was offered.

I stayed at this hotel this weekend & it was a wonderful stay. My room was very spacious & very clean. I loved the decor & colors. They have free Showtime & other good stations on the television so I was able to binge watch shows Iā€™ve missed when relaxing. The full hot breakfast was great & way better than a complimentary breakfast. The staff was awesome & I encountered 6 members of the staff. Thru were all nice & very pleasant. Iā€™ll stay here again & have recommended this hotel to others. I just wish a shuttle ran on the weekends. Thatā€™s what is missing.

We really liked coming in! It was real clean and the girl at the desk, Kimmy, was super nice!! The first night we were all asleep and suddenly the fire alarm went off and woke us all up. We walk outside and it was only in our room. We go downstairs to tell them and the front desk (Iā€™m pretty sure she was a manager) told us to go hit it with something and sent us back upstairs. It still wouldnā€™t turn off because there was ā€œtoo much smokeā€ (no smoke at all) so we decided to try and call from our room. No one would answer so we had to go down there a second time. When we went down there there was that manager and another girl working the desk and they told us to hold on (they were helping someone which was totally fine!) but they kept receiving phone calls from guests probably complaining about the alarm and they were declining them and not answering them. The manager finally comes with us and tells us she hopes this didnā€™t wake us up (it totally did). She gets up there and tries to stand on something thatā€™s not stable and she almost ends up falling. She was smacking it and it wouldnā€™t turn off so she turns around and asks if we had something to smack it withā€¦finally it shuts off and she apologizes but doesnā€™t give us anything for our inconvenience. I just felt like it was super unprofessional in my opinion

I'm really not sure how to rate this hotel. The room was very small and the beds were not easily accessible to the top bunk. The TV was hard to see bc of the bed poles. The one night worker, Joe was not very helpful at first, but got better, I guess. Sherry however, was AMAZING. There were ants all over our room when we got back Saturday afternoon. They had no spray. When we used a wash cloth to try to wipe up the ants the wash cloth was filthy dirty like it hadn't been mopped before we were there. We had no garbage bags in the garbages. Finally after telling them the ants were in the beds and one bit my mom Sherry went and bought ant spray and found an out of order room for us to use for the night. It was even smaller than the other one. And obviously didn't have everything since it was out of order, but I'm thankful she tried. She took off half of each nights stay for the issues we experienced. The pool is an bad accident waiting to happen. The water doesn't drain around the pool and there are puddles. Kids were falling and getting hurt. I reported it and they said they knew that it drains slowly and they have someone that will be working on it or is working on it. The food was okay, but things were not refilled for the morning. I was there right when it opened and I had to ask for them to refill the sugars. For a Hilton I expected better.

No maintenance around to fix anything for days on end. Washing machine is absolutely horrible. High efficiency (HE) really just means we want to save a lot of water; so dirty clothes still come out smelling like dirty clothes. Highly recommend finding a laundromat in the area. The staff is really helpful and nice! Joe really helped me out during my 3 week stay. Hats off to him.

Horrible customer service. Kicked us out at 2am from the room because we brought guests up to OUR room that we paid for. The front desk manager claimed that we were loud and called the cops to escort us out. We were respectful the entire time of our stay there with 0 issues. She needs her power trip checked because by having us escorted out, she also just lost our loyal business for the future. You donā€™t kick anybody out of the hotel without a proper claim. Anybody in a position of management doesnā€™t deserve to be there if they abuse it or go on power trips. They will hurt your business and anybody else. Update: spoke with Hilton Honors customer service and a formal complaint has been lodged.

Rooms were clean and free breakfast was good. Staff was always friendly and helpful even when it was busy. I did not use the fitness room but it looked very nice and was clean. The pool was smaller but suited our needs for swimming. They also have free coffee and tea in the lobby, this is something that I always enjoy when staying at a hotel.

  • 3/5 Randy V. 11 months ago on Google
The accommodations are decent and the included breakfast is what you would expect - hot foods and a waffle maker. The bed was very comfortable. The room walls must be very thin. I was in room 105 and the adjacent room (107) had a family with a baby during the last night of my stay. I was awake all night due to the crying and screaming. The room was mostly clean but there were a couple of long, dark black hairs at the base of the shower on the bathroom floor. The staff was very friendly. The location is a concrete jungle surrounded by a rail yard, factories and warehouses. Food selection within walking distance is very minimal.
