Fantastic staff, friendly pub, brilliant atmosphere

A really nice pub with a great selection of beers, the only possible quibble is the lack of food. Update - still a great pub with great beer.

Called in for a late pint en route. Was still occupied by several drinkers. First time in fir a while. No issues.

Good atmosphere. Busy Sunday afternoon and only 2 staff on duty - one of them obviously a newbie, so bit under pressure! Great beer, as always, Ossett Brewery. Defo worth a visit!

Cracking boozer. An Osset Brewery pub, and a fine example of what you want from a drinking establishment. Good beer; friendly staff (and customers!), and a nice cosy atmosphere without being overbearing. I'd recommend a pint of Jute if you haven't tried it before!

Don't judge from the outside as it doesn't look anything special. This is an Excellent pub with a really good range of decent beers ( especially the Ossett brewery) to choose from. Nice and varied seating inside and out and, dog friendly too! Was very impressed! Busy but not mad on my visit and friendly locals and bar staff too.

Great to be back in the beer garden, on the ball polite staff looked after us (and the dogs)

Very nice and clean venue with staff which look after you. During my visit I had a nice beer which was really fresh and bubbly. I sat at in the garden and it's really nice seeing the little stream going under it. They offer table service and keep the place clean making it very covid safe.

Nice pint of Guinness on my lunch hour 💯🔥cosy little place with old fashioned working fireplace and traditional and new modern seating plans dotted everywhere.

Ossett brewery ales on in here,very cosy place with a lot of different sections to it but it has an open feel about the place. Made to feel welcome and will be going back shortly.

Great service and atmosphere. Can't comment on food as iv not eaten there. But overall very clean and welcoming.

Unfortunately not my local. This is such a lovely friendlywell run pub. Oh and their beer is top class.
