Tried their brisket flat cuts and spare ribs. Overall okay. Brisket was beautifully cooked, having bark and smoke ring. It was well seasoned. It tasted tender. Yet it was still not having enough moisture, so a bit on the dry side slightly. I saw the meat was well kept in the butcher paper with beef tallow/juice before the pit master took it out, so I had expected something better. I guess it's probably in the open fire for a bit too long, at least for the flat muscle. The ribs were fairly tender. The seasoning was great, creating a thin layer of crust with the glaze on top and the back. Though they were very juicy, the fats were a bit too much than my personal preference -- wish they were rendered for a bit longer. The place itself is a food truck, so no actual seating or service but only takeout.

Absolutely mind-blowing! I’ve had the brisket sandwich, double cut pork chop, and smoked turkey sandwich, all incredible. Best meat there is at a really really great price. Plus the sides and desserts are really fresh and innovative. Just amazing food with friendly service and no frills. Joe’s is world class!!!

Was traveling through Ohio. Stopped at Joe's. Shockingly good Barbecue. I tried the Smoked Turkey, tender and flavorful as well as the pulled pork. Cooked low and slow in a giant smoker. There is no dine in, its served via a food truck. my only complaint is I wish there were a picnic table or two to sit and eat, but that didn't stop us from eating it in our car. Oh, And the Bourbon Banana Pudding... I almost forgot to mention it.... It is so good it may even out shine their BBQ Seriously! Bravo!

We were visiting our kids in Ravenna and stopped in after our son said how good the food was. I ordered the brisket burger, and everyone else ordered brisket sandwiches. We also ordered the banana pudding, potato salad, and the mac and cheese. Oh man, the brisket burger was amazing, as was the banana pudding. I had to order a second pudding to go it was so good. The bbq sauce was some of the best I've had. Wish I could have brought some of that good food home to Utah with us. Service was super friendly and quick. You definitely need to stop by and be amazed.

By far the best brisket sandwich I have ever had, and the smoked Mac and cheese was so good also! Well worth checking out. Will be stopping by a lot more to try out the other menu items.

I got the brisket with the mac and cheese and combined them and let me tell you some of best bbq i have had and a good prize oh and the bourbon banna pudding is top notch not a big banna fan but wow that is something elce!!!

First visit after reading great reviews. Pre-ordered for Superbowl Sunday. 1 pound of smoked bbq brisket and banana pudding were excellent. Support Local before chains! So good. Awesome bbq sauce.

Fantastic BBQ. I try to schedule my other activities to give me a reason to be there around noon as I live about 45 minutes away. My only complaint is that he's not there every day. Fair trade off I guess. Excellent product some days is much better than a place open every day with a lesser product. Everyone needs to try the briscuit !

I'm mostly satisfied. I had a turkey sandwich. The only criticism I have is that the turkey wasn't hot hot, it was just warm. However that's most likely because it was turkey. The people who work here are nice and efficient. Will definitely go back.

O...M...G!!!! Why did it take us so long to try Joe's BBQ? Don't wait like we did. The BEST brisket and ribs we've ever had. Can't wait to try the meatloaf sandwich. My husband has his eye on the chicken. Friendly staff, great service. Joe, you've made us regulars for sure!

In my 30 years away from the Akron area I lived in North Texas and ate delicious barbecue from a dozen places. Since my return, I have not found delicious brisket until today at Joe’s barbecue. I will be back again and again.
