Awesome lunch at The Lawn. Beautiful fresh cold&hot seafood tower. River view, great service and live music

Fun place next to the river with some great wine, spirit and food related events. Just there for an event this time however the quality of food and service was very good and expect this would be reflective of the restaurant. Looking forward to the next event / dining there.

We all had a great time for my 50th birthday 🥳 The staff were super friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was awesome. We all enjoyed the live music 🎶 the singer sang 🎤 great songs and has a great voice. All my friends were impressed with the location and the calm and casual atmosphere by the 💦 Steve the Manager was super helpful in helping me select exactly what I wanted and made the hole process stess free 🤗

Meet here regularly with a book club in the evening. Large indoor or covered outdoor seating area overlooking the Brisbane River. Friendly and efficient staff, nice pizzas and a range of drinks on tap. Easy access via Brisbane Ferries, and pedestrian or bike access off Brisbane Promenade. A nice relaxed bar and dining option.

We recently celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday at the Lawn Bar & Cafe in Kangaroo Point and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we contacted Steve to secure the event, he made the entire process so easy and stress-free. The food and beverages were top-notch, and the team working there were sensational. We want to give a special shoutout to both Luke and Tim (King) who went above and beyond to make our guests and our daughter feel absolutely sensational. These guys run a smooth efficient function, our guests were stoked. Both Luke and Tim continued to keep me updated throughout the night but importantly before the event, the care and attention to detail really made the difference. We highly recommend this venue for any special occasion. The location, setting, and the team are all brilliant! 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My, my, what a hidden gem! Definitely a well kept secret! First visit, would absolutely return. Group booking of 30+, great afternoon for food, service and ambience. My meal was the pumpkin and bocconcini salad. Just perfect. Service was really warm and friendly. Special mention to the uber friendly Alex, who made me a simple mocktail not listed. Made without issue and tasted so good. Thank you so much. My only “complaint” would be there was no dessert menu…but perhaps that’s a good thing?! Lol Thanks Lawn Bar, look forward to returning to try your fabulous looking pizzas.

We recently held an event at The Lawn and we could not fault the service. They catered so easily for our many dietary requirements. The space was a magical location right next to the river, giving a beautiful indoor /outdoor feel. The staff could not be faulted, friendly, helpful service with a smile. We will absolutely be back. Huge thanks to Lawn for hosting our amazing wedding a few weeks ago! It was the perfect day, and best venue. It's incredibly convenient being able to have your ceremony and reception in one place, so guests don't have to travel. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the location was, but also how fun and relaxed it still felt. The reception room is also perfect for a live band which was an absolute highlight for us!! Massive thanks to Steve & Luke for all of their help and professionalism throughout the whole lead up and on the day. We love Lawn and will definitely be regulars :)

Have had two large group dinners here and the second visit was much improved on the first (meals had never come, big delays on food, food was disappointing). This visit however was much better and the food was vastly improved, I had the trio of tacos and they were fresh and full of flavour. Cocktails are nice, prices are moderate, but it is a nice spot on the large deck overlooking the river. Parking can be a little difficult.

Beautiful venue with a great atmosphere and wonderful service! The staff were incredibly lovely and catered to us so well at the 21st we held there. We would definitely choose this venue again!

Booking system works well with an electronic confirmation a couple of days prior being helpful. We had 18 people and the outdoor space is comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere. You have plenty of room around the table so it allowed our group to mingle with each other easily without disturbing anyone else. The staff are fabulous, friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The food was well priced and served quickly. All round a great venue for a relaxing catch up!

Made a booking, responded in the affirmative to the confirmation email, received a booking reminder via email as well as a text message however, when we arrived there was no one to greet us at the door so we went to the bar. Bar staff directed us to the covered patio section where we spoke to 2 wait staff. They didn’t seem to have our booking & our table wasn’t ready. The only 2-4 seat table available was taken & when they asked this customer he said he was shown to this table for his booking. We were finally asked where we would like to sit and we pointed to a table but were met with the response, “Oh no, that’s for a function.” When we enquired when the function was the wait staff didn’t know. They finally decided to break up an 8 seat table & we took our seats. Very disappointing start to our lunch after confirming the booking and receiving multiple reminders 😢 The food was delicious, although they forgot to put the Moreton Bay Bug on the salad but brought it out on a separate plate with the comment from the wait staff, “Here’s some “extra” bug for your salad.” 🙄 The cocktails were lovely, thank you.

Don't ever go to this restaurant. The food is not worth the money. We ordered four dishes; the 12 oysters cost $48 and came with nothing but two pieces of lemon, which weren't even enough for 12 oysters. When we asked for more lemon, the waitress told us to inquire directly with the kitchen—what poor service! To make matters worse, when we ordered over the counter, we were asked to pay in advance. After the payment, I presented a discount voucher, but the manager refused to honor it, claiming that since the payment was made, no cancellations were allowed. I question whether this aligns with consumer law. Additionally, avoid the margarita pizza. It costs $18 but comes with nothing—just two slices of tomato on top with burnt cheese. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant if you're a tourist. It's a rip-off with subpar service.

Came with a big group of people. Nice location where overlooking the Brisbane river. Food was alright, some were good and some were just average. Service was adequate. Not bad overall.

Work Christmas party was here this year and an absolute dream! Tim was an amazing host, they worked around our needs and the food was delicious… said by all 52 people. Wonderful venue, we will be booking again. Thank you! You made a whole bunch of teaching staff very happy.
