I ordered some grilled octopus and lamb meatballs with fries and a salad. The fries were absolutely stunning. Perfect amount of salt and seasoning and warm and crispy. The octopus was nice as well. Lamb was juicy and tender and the salad was a great combo. The waiters were very hospitable and checked on us often. Coming back for sure.

Spot on food, great service. Nice atmosphere well worth the drive. Will say place need some work the lights above full of cob webs, didn't really want anything falling into my food and the front counter dirty but other then that a pleasant experience.

Good food, good prices, really generous servings. We ordered a share plate for 3 for $80, and everything was so well cooked. Will definitely be back!

Food was great! We had dolmades, stuffed pepper and the Atom dip which was beautiful spiced. Also tried the lamb/ chicken Souvlaki , chorizo Souvlaki. My favourite is the chorizo Souvlaki. Service was great. Food served on time.

Went for an early dinner tonight. The food is excellent! We have been here before (but forgot to leave a review) and have been anxious to get back. The dips are amazing - we got the trio entree. (Our 6 month old shared my passion for the hummus.) The flatbread is perfect and fresh. The chips are cooked perfectly. Our mains were delicious. We will definitely return and bring some friends with us!

Ordered the Share Platter for 2 and a side of Pilaf rice. Taste amazing. Nice marination and juicy. Bit off was the waitress. Not friendly and was "throwing" the food on the table. Will come back for the food..not for service

Everything we ate at this place is “nostimo”!!! So delicious and they have generous servings that we went home so full and sleepy 😂 If you’re craving for Greek food, this is the best place to go! The restaurant’s ambiance is so relaxing and staffs were friendly too. I highly recommend this restaurant!! 👌

We had a fabulous lunch on Sunday, two days after the restaurant reopened at its new location in Sinnamon Road. Although we read the menu carefully, we couldn’t resist going back to the platter for 4! The lamb was sooo tender! The chicken was so tasty! Being able to pick and choose and enjoy so many tastes is too good to resist! We can’t wait to come back!

Great food! Great service! Fantastic new location! We’ve been coming here for a couple of years all because of the awesome food. Icarus are successful in delivering truly great food and service. Their new restaurant and atmosphere, along with some great additions to an already fantastic menu, brings the dining experience to a whole new level. Get a table on the deck, order a share platter and enjoy all they have to offer!

Had dinner here with my Husband for my 30th and it was absolutely amazing. The food is spectacular, the staff are super friendly and I really enjoyed the music as well. We had a good time, thank you so much!

What a wonderful surprise to find such authentic Greek cuisine in Brisbane. Great menu options, generous serving sizes and wonderful waitstaff. Value for money and certainly enjoyed by everyone at our table. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Visited Icarus under recommendation of a friend, visiting from North Qld. Service was acceptable, ordered $80 platter for 3, noticed at the end 2 dishes missing Greek chips and salad. Made waiter aware of one missing item, stated he would take off the bill ? I feel staff should be more aware of items served to the table. Not happy with paying for missing items, not likely to visit again. Disappointed.

Try out this Greek restaurant near my work, share plate is fantastic , chicken Souvlaki and lamb Souvlaki with loads of flavours, Gilled Octopus are wow, I ordered for take away but would like to return for dine in, highly recommended.

THE LAMB !!! MY GOD !! The best lamb I have had in a very very long time , was so tender, has amazing rich flavours and exactly how it should be served . What a very pleasant and proper meal . If I could give more then 5 stars I would . Thank you very much will definitely be back again and again !

We decided at the last minute to dine at Icarus tonight. They were packed for a Thursday night but the friendly staff managed to squeeze us in. We were informed that there would be a delay with the food but when it finally arrived it was worth the wait. Everything we ordered was super tasty and fresh and the staff were attentive given that they were busy. Definitely enjoyed our experience tonight.

We have been many times and always returned because of the service, the food is nothing extraordinary that we couldn’t make at home on our grill. This time the service was not good. We were sat and two other tables sat after us They served the other 2 tables with menus, water, cutlery and took their orders before they even brought us menus. When they finally did bring us menus it was another 10 minutes before they came to get our order. We ordered the meal for 2 they brought out the hummus and pita bread, we had to go ask for plates, silverware, water and glasses as they had not even delivered our drinks. We were not informed they were out of halloumi , just brought us a substitute instead. Our meat dish was brought out and We received our salad last only AFTER we ask for it. The 2 tables that were sat after us had eaten and left before we even got our main course. We had to get up from the table to ask for more water and for our check. Being as we really only ever went for the service we won’t be returning.

Really great food. We had the share for 4 and it was a very generous amount of food, great flavours and excellent value for money. Only criticism is that asked for starters before mains but everything came out at once. I asked about it and was told that sometimes the kitchen just wants to get everything out at once. Meant that we didn't get to enjoy our dips because we didn't want the meat to get cold. The service is good but a bit cold and perfunctory. I don't expect a lot and definitely don't blame the servers, it just feels like maybe it's a tense workplace. I've gone in to pick up takeout a few times and everyone always seems a bit stressed. Still the food is amazing and it's well worth a visit.
