We had a very nice day on the island despite the weather was not good. The ferry is very comfortable as there is a bar for drinks and snacks. We have been welcomed by Brigitte. We rented the snorkel gear and a kayak. We would have expected a better briefing for the kayak because it was too windy and the water was choppy we had to drop the kayak after 50m because it was too hard. The snorkelling was however very nice and really easy to do on our own.

Chose the Wrecks Adventure Tour for our trip to Moreton today, price seemed great considering it was only about $60 more than catching the Micat over, then activities and resort access are included. A few of the activities weren't available because it was not windy enough (catamaran and parasailing) and The Covid (banana boating) which was a bit of a bummer, but our Guided Wrecks snorkel, Stand Up Paddle board and Kayak hires all ended up being great. Our snorkel guides were efficient and friendly, and hiring the SUP and kayaks was super smooth. The wrecks were pretty busy and crowded, but hey, it's that time of year. Only 4 stars because we were sent incorrect info about ferry departure in the morning, told 7am in the email confirmation and website FAQ but it's actually 8. I could've slept another hour! Then on arrival when choosing our activities the staff also told us confusing info about which activities went to the wrecks and how. Otherwise a great day, would love to go back for longer!

I booked an intro dive and the tour also included 1 hour snorkel equipment hire, 1 hour stand up paddle hire, 1 hour kayak hire and free land activities (bird feedings). Unfortunately the organization wasn`t very good, so I couldn`t do everything. You have to be at the ferry terminal 1 hour prior to departure, but the only thing you do is collect your boarding pass in 2 minutes and then wait 1 hour at 6:30am. As soon as you arrive at the island, you have to go to Tangatours to hand in your voucher for the dive (or whatever your activity is). The office opens at 9am and several resort guest were already lined up. After all the waiting you can finally start the documentation (medical conditions etc.) for the dive, which could easily be done beforehand online. Then I went to reception because nowhere was written on which return ferry I was booked. Turns out 4pm and as it was already 10:30am and the dive booked for 12-2:30pm, there was obviously not enough time left for doing all activities. For a 20AUD fee I could rebook to the later ferry at 7pm, well, I could see the dolphin feeding, but the kayak/sup/snorkel hire closes at 4:45pm, soo still not enough time to do all the hires. Furthermore you have to be aware that the shipwrecks -as the main attraction- are a 20-25min WALK away from the resort, which means in 1 hour snorkeling, kayaking or paddling you don`t get there. Long story short: the tour operator should send the documentation via email and give clear instructions beforehand how it works/what the schedule is. The resort and island was very beautiful though, the diving instructor did a good job and in the end it has been a pleasant day.

Lots of fun, not really a lot of instruction but you will work it out.

Purely on the fact there’s no life guards. I nearly lost my sister to drowning, it was a traumatic holiday. I had to swim to her and risk my own life to help her. I was signalling people for ages for help, there was a boat with scuba divers and no one saw. Finally some foreigners on a kayak helped the both of us after minutes of struggle thankfully. I asked the Venue if they ever have life guards and they said they never do. This is more a warning, please be careful snorkelling at the ship wreck, if you are not a strong swimmer stay with a group of people even when swimming in or out!

They offer one of the cheapest prices for the ferry and island activities, but we had strong winds on the day so couldn't go near the Wrecks at all. Had to call multiple times and wait a month for a partial refund. Probably should have booked with a different company.

I felt on holiday despite of the cloudy weather we had heaps of fun kayaking around the wreck. For roughly 40 minutes I was in awe of the array of fish scattered throughout the wrecks. We pic nicnon the beach and chilled at the coffee shop ... Easy, good, great.
