Went in at about 2:30am and the service was very abrupt and rude. The atmosphere inside was bleak and gloomy. The food was below average and disappointing. The hash brown was hard and cold. The waffles were also hard. The nachos were average. The only thing that was good was the wedges. Overall, a good alternative for a 24 hour place after a night out if you want something different from fast food and don’t mind average food.

I arrived at 11:30 and it wasn’t overly busy during my visit. The service needs major improvement. I was seated and they took my order. My pancakes arrived raw, but no one was around for me to rectify the problem. It took over five minutes for me to get the attention of any of the servers. The second batch of pancakes were thick and doughy. I do not plan on returning and would not recommend. Picture 1 - raw pancake’s Picture 2 - second batch

This place is a Brisbane icon that serves not only delicious pancakes but also savoury food. The portions are big and service time is quick. The building is an old heritage-listed building (used to be a church) so it’s rather dark inside even during the day. The furniture includes what I imagine to be old church pews, which adds to the charm. The best thing about the Pancake Manor is that it’s open 24/7. I love it!

First experience: booked a table in advance, was not told about the long wait, but the place was full and the food came almost after an hour. Food was ok, service was average but the wait was excruciating. My experience with big places is that they should have enough staff in the kitchen and outside to manage, otherwise keep portions of the restaurant closed but have happy patrons instead. Second experience: Seated at 11am, not informed about the serving time of 45 minutes. From prior experience I should have asked and didn’t. That’s my mistake. Ordered as I was seated. No food till 12 noon after following up multiple times. Left hungry and frustrated after cancelling my order. The table of 4 seated at the same time as me also left but after having completed their meal. What I didn’t understand is how they got their food, managed to eat it and left within the hour when I didn’t get my food though I ordered the moment I sat down. When asked, the hostess said she was informing everyone about the long wait, so how come they got their food and left within the hour? Seemed inconsistent and unfair. The staff here are decent but overwhelmed. I got a lot of apologies but that doesn’t help the hour long hungry wait. The management should clearly communicate order turn around time and get a verbal agreement from patrons acknowledging it before seating them. If that was done I would have chosen another venue. Only go if you are not hungry and willing to wait an hour. The quality of pancakes leaves much to be desired.

We visited The Pancake Manor for the first time 07/12/23. Service somewhat slow & food average. Food & drinks at reasonable prices. Ordered P/Cakes Egg & Hash, Aussie Sunrise, Apple Juice & Iced Tea.

Honestly a great all round experience. Friendly staff all round, great atmosphere with an incredible building details to look at and a sweet playlist playing those songs you forgot about! The drinks tasted great, having a hot chocolate and a latte on soy, then food came out in a timely manner. The pancakes were light and fluffy, plenty of maple syrup provided and butter! The hash was great and was lovely to see on the menu. Kinda gave off an American/Canadian breakfast vibes. Overall taste was delicious!

Open 24hrs, licensed, AND pancakes (plus a bunch of other things)..? What a great concept. Slipped into an old church building this venue has a great atmosphere and ambience under the high cathedral roof. While the service was a little lacking on a Saturday night around 8 o'clock, the pancake stacks, chips, and nachos we're all mighty fine with good portion sizes for their prices.

I stopped in for a latte, and decided to order the Aussie Sunrise breakfast as well. It was tasty and fresh. Two of the three staff who interacted with me were friendly and helpful. The other guy was perhaps having a bad day, wasn’t awake yet, or hasn’t received proper customer service training. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt since you never really know what they are going through. The restaurant has a unique vibe in an old church made of brick and timber.

Wow what a let down. You would like to think that the crew out the back cooking the food would nail the pancake 🥞. They were undercooked and mushy even before you add the maple syrup. The staff were friendly and the food came quick.

After searching this place and reading its reviews I was happy to be here, but literally I don't know why the staffs that served me were so rude served food without knife and fork After waiting I walked to the bar to ask someone to get fork to eat , the girl answered so rudely we don't keep it here . 🤔🙄 the pancake tasted so floury than I remember, my pancake was soggy and didn't taste good... sorry but this made me sick. Nachos tasted good though thanks.

I love that it's a pancake house that runs 24 hours a day. How about a sweet pancake at a sleepless night? It's a little ugly pancake face, but it's okay. It was good to have a lot of people at 2 a.m., and it tasted good. I'm going to try nachos next time. 😋

Food was good but I feel like it's a bit overpriced, cream and ice cream was an extra $4 on top of the pancakes which is a bit ridiculous. The staff seems a little overwhelm and it was very busy even at 10am. I do like the deco and the building is very unique.

Nice place, awesome service and nice people. Great experience if you can't be bothered to cook your own breakfast, lunch or dinner. The old cathedral is well worth the look over, great old building.

Love it here. The food is great, the staff are friendly and a huge variety to choose from. I can come here all hours of the day and night too. The only thing I can fault them for is that there’s no wheelchair access but it’s out of their control as it’s heritage listed the building

Waited an awful long time at the front counter waiting to be seated as staff continuously walked past. The lady’s toilets were disgusting, the sanitary bins had a horrible smell coming from them and the bathrooms were in poor shape. The staff looked completely unimpressed tonight, the place used to be really good and we used to enjoy coming here, however, don’t think we will be back.

I tried the satay chicken burger, and it is juicy, but unfortunately, the bacon inside is kind of trying to be the main character instead of the chicken. We tried to call for a server to order food, but there was no one noticing us for a long time, which is kind of disappointing, as well as the long waiting time for food. We enjoy the environment there, it is cosy and historical. I recommend this place for friends gathering, and it opens 24 hours.

Unique design interior. It's better to have it in the restaurant. I did takeout some but it wasn't good looking in the box and still yum but not yum like on the site. The pancake alone is not sweet but eat with toppings it's just right. My favourite is bananarama. All the ingredients compliment each other well.

I visited this restaurant with my family today and we all left a bit disappointed. While i enjoyed the chocolate walnut pancake i shared with my sister, my father and his gf were not happy. She is celiac, so they both got gf pancakes. While we can understand gluten-free pancakes will always taste different, these where dry and salty. The pancake would stick to the roof of your mouth like glue and were almost inedible. They left both their plates half full. After seeing such great reviews about the restaurant, they were very disappointed.

We were seated almost immediately and welcomed by a staff member who promptly returned after a few minutes to take our order. Toilets were pretty clean and the area was also clean and presentable. Order took less than 15 minutes to arrive. Food looked delicious and tasted extraordinary ( as explained by the 11 year old). The mashed potato and tomato sauce was very tasty! All food items were very fresh also. Prices were well reflected. Overall very happy with our experience from start to finish, 'we are definitely going to come back and recommend to anyone'.

Staff were great, very polite, prices were expensive but we thought hey it's a place that DOES pancakes so the PANCAKES should be good right? No they were dry, undercooked and tasted revolting. Thick shakes were great (for 8.50 they better be). Overall place looked great staff great, mcdonalds servers better pancakes.

The atmosphere here feels dated and bit dull, and the staff weren’t super friendly. I felt like she was annoyed because we asked to see physical menus instead of scanning the QR code. BUT, I’m giving 5 stars for the pancakes & for offering vegan (+gf) ones. They also have vegan ice cream but I didn’t try. Tasted amazing, generous serving and priced so fairly.

I love the place. Great feel to it. Incredible coffee (shoutout to the LB, Cappuccino & Macchiato 🤤) . Better reserved table for breakfast or you'll have to wait 15 min or so. Affordable and right on the heart of the city.

Having been around for a few decades now, Pancake Manor in the city is a known commodity - and a good one at that, especially if you are into sweet pancakes. They have a decent variety of different flavourings/toppings, from chocolate varieties to black forest to macadamia. Prices for these range from $10-$16 dollars, serving sizes are quite large and reasonable for this price. Taste wise, the pancakes are fluffy and I have found cooked to a consistent level of quality, and are not "too" sweet in my opinion I cannot comment on their savoury options as I have always been swayed to eat their sweet pancakes options 🤣. In terms of setting, the atmosphere is nice and rustic, and a good place to relax with a few friends or your SO. Service is prompt, although you should always expect a 10-15 minute wait for your order.

Have always liked this place and really praised it to others from past experience. I brought people from interstate to what I said was the best place for pancakes in Brisbane. After waiting 30min in line and then an hour at the table we got pancakes that were dry and literally crumbling and falling apart on the plate as we ate, a spoon would have been better then a fork. The three teaspoons of chocolate sauce didnt help the cause and neither did the expensive price. Really felt embarrassed cause I was the one who recommended here for lunch.

Rang serval times to book but nobody picked up... Tried booking online still didn't work. After all that I ended up going in still to see if I could get a table without booking. I could, but there would be a price. A line out the door greeted me and I ended up waiting for over an hour to get seated. All while people who booked got tables. NOT HAPPY. Took forever to get my food as well!! Food was delicious and I was pleasly surprised with the vegan options. Be wary tho as the tables are sticky and seats smell of urine.

The place is cool but the pancakes not worth it. They were completely dry. They tasted good but only because of the chocolate fudge and blueberries. It was like eating a cake instead of a pancake. Giving 3 stars because the place is unique and the staff was nice.

Customer service was pretty slow even though there was not many people. The black Forrest pancake was so so yummy they definitely go all out on big servings. The pancake was pretty much a brownie so yummy but not fluffy. Strawberry pancake was great! Super fluffy and tasty. Garlic bread was good but was clearly microwaved.

The environment of the place suprised me!It worth to have a try but the price is a little bit pricy. That is fair enough coz 24hours opening. Love the bananarama that u can customize add anything you like. Try the grilled pineapple one next time.

I love coming here. The pancakes are always perfection. Ordered one of the breakfast sets, with a side of bacon. The food was delivered to the table and was piping hot, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The only down side is I can never finish more than two pancakes at a time. The food is consistently excellent. Not as many menu items as I remember from years ago, but the items on there are more than enough to satisfy. Not the fanciest pancakes you'll find in Brisbane, but sometimes all you need is a stack of buttermilk pancakes drowned in butter and syrup.

Almost like the theme parks, an excitement as a kid but a little underwhelming as an adult. The pancakes are good, and there’s sure to be a sugary concoction to suit all preferences. It’s spacious, but offers relatively private dining options and obviously has amazing opening hours. Still, not as much of a selling point if there are chunks of the menu that are unavailable. The service was also not great… had to ask for water and for menus. Also wouldn’t describe it as knowledgeable, enthusiastic or accommodating. The vegetable crepes were all-around disappointing. I know vegetables are expensive, but I still expect the same volume as the same priced crepes filled and topped with beef! It felt like very poor value for money. The taste was not to be remembered. Risky choice yes, but bad non-the-less. Pancake desserts - had more $ in chopped macadamias than my crepes did in vegetables. ‘Maple’ syrup.

Fluffy delicious pancake. Persinally I recommend the black forest pancake over the normal pancake. the default pancake is also good, soft, and nicely combined with butter and maple syrup . We can order 3 stack pancake if you want to share. The staff is helpful as well. However, since it is very busy in the morning, it's recommended to make a prior reservation. We're all good and happy at the end, since it is the most delicious pancake we've tried.

Exactly what you would want in a 24 hour pancake restaurant. Fast service, good atmosphere and delicious pancakes. The pancakes are very filling. Traditional pancakes are very good value. We came at a busy time, but the service was fast considering the amount of people in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Pancake Manor exceeds expectations with their exceptional crepes, a delightful fusion of texture and flavor. The crepes are a culinary masterpiece, showcasing a perfect balance that leaves your taste buds craving more. Pancake is delish! Ordered picadilly dawn and aussie sunrise. Aussie sunrise was perfect, everything is good. But the picadilly wasnt that as delightful. The scrambled eggs was dried and overcooked, the hashbrown also a bit too dry and bland… but apart from that, service is good, it’s convenient as it opens 24hrs

I really didn't enjoy the food here. The pancakes were very dry and doughy. Impossible to enjoy without the attached ice cream. Prices didn't reflect quality. Only ever been here once but most likely won't come again as there are many better crepes and pancake places. It is cool that it's open 24hrs but the food wasn't nice. The location itself is really cool and actually very interesting to see and read about. The staff were also quite nice.

Staff were super friendly and attentive. That’s what gave my rating one more star. The food was disappointing. It came out warm. Not hot. Took forever to arrive. The eggs were missing and the extra pancake. When it finally did arrive, the eggs looked a bit grey. The hash browns were oily and soggy. The lighting was really dim. For breakfast. Some diners had to use their phone light to see the menu. Other diners food looked good though. Just not mine. Won’t be back.

Oh the joys of a Pancake Manor luncheon. Yes it was REALL GOOD, The service was from happy motivated staff, and enough waiters attending your requests that it felt comfortable to be there. The food is as good as the menu suggests, but be sure to be hungry as u will be satisfied. I also found the set menus very affordable. 4 of us ate until nearly gonna pop and still under 90 bucks. Try it u will enjoy.

This was a good little drop in for brekky. The prices were relatively cheap, the staff were friendly and the menu contained a lot of options. There wasn't a great deal.of parking for this place which made it a tad tricky (unless U want to pay for the lot across the road). But being from Vic and having the pancake parlour, this was definitely a must try for my visit to brissy.

What can I say, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You get the odd terrible waiter or waitress, but this place is a must when it comes to wanting some food and drinks at the weirdest times. The food isn't bad, the dessert is pretty good, it's not fine dining or anything close. But it's a good place to catch up with mates and share a meal and dessert.

Ordered a 4 stack with ice cream and maple syrup and my son had banana Rama. We both had mugs of hot choc. He didn’t think allot to his food and my pancakes were very dry. The staff were very good & understanding and the 2 mini pots of maple syrup hid the dryness but it’s no Pancake Parlour. Sad - was looking forward to it. I reckon Maccas hot cakes are nicer than these.

Budget deal for the lunch set. You can enjoy both salty and sweetly in one set. I chose the chicken and mushroom creepy followed by a pancake with ice cream and maple, also add on a flat white.

Amazing food & service. Brunch menu has a good selection.

This place is still as good when I was here back in 1997. Even though the pan cake size has shrunk a bit but the taste is still good 👍. Price is very reasonably cheap. Highly recommended when you’re in Brisbane city.

Staff were quick to give us a table. Not a long wait. Ordered the Belgian waffle and chocolate jewels. Both were delicious. Would recommend

Great service. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. While not listed on their menu, there were plenty of options for people with dietary requirements.

Service was great and friendly staff. We had beautiful big pancakes with maple syrup and ice cream that were just delicious. Place was a little tired and could do with a bit of a make over but I suppose in these unusual times, we are luck they are still open for business. Will be going back to try the crepes.

Definitely lives up to its reputation. The food is all delicious, the staff are great, the atmosphere is fun. Even during peak times the wait isn't too long. Surprisingly busy late at night but it's definitely the best 24hr restaurant around.

The architecture definitely contributes a star to this rating. Honesty it's as great as you can expect from an all night pancake restaurant. On the plus side, the overnight service and daytime service do not differ much. The staff are polite and the food is filling. Very few options for dietary requirements.

Been here a few times - atmosphere is lovely, it is built in an old church that has been converted. Open basically 24/7 so a good space in the city to get a feed even late after a night out. Be careful when you attend as it can at times be very busy/slow. Food is nice, wish there was a few more mains to choose from but their specialty is pancakes so makes sense. Been back a few times now and would still go again.

Great night out with family! Meals were delicious (The Chicken and Mushroom Crepes were amazing!) And the Banana Smoothies were that good I had to have a second! 😍😍 Friendly staff and great prices! We will be back again 👍🙂

I loved the location. Nice heritage building. The pancakes and other food were perfect (5 star), but the coffee, no, I don’t order it again. I highly recommend this restaurant to others 😊.

Dined here on a late night and it was a little busy with some wait time due to staff shortage but they made it clear with the wait time prior to seating which was good management. Had the following from the menu which can be viewed from the QR code on the table: - Traditional short stack; pancake itself was bland, the maple syrup and whipped butter definitely helped. Taste was average at best - Chocolate Jewels; pancake has the taste and consistency of a mud cake, chocolate sauce was more like an icing paste, and the cream and chocolate ice cream made it a little bit more interesting. Very sweet and heavy compared to the traditional stack - Belgian waffle with ice cream and chocolate fudge; waffle was dense and a little dry, no crispiness on the outer layer - Affogato; pretty good with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and an espresso shot for the price Overall desserts was ok; may satisfy your sweet cravings if you are looking for something late at night as it is open 24hrs. Service was good.

Liked it. Seem to remember the meals being bigger. The deserts were still the best pancakes ever. The mains were great. In hindsight I guess the fact the mains left room for desert :) I love the service and very speedy lots of attention. Will be back.

Food was OK. The atmosphere was great. I recommend it for first timer for the experience, but will not come back for the 2nd time.

One lot of pancakes was sweet while the other tasted like flour. Eggs tasted like they were cooked and sat in a Bain Marie for a while, The hash browns could be better. Crepes were good with the filling. Tables could use a bit more room

I had a Chicken Burger and a Berries Pancake here and it was amazing!! It could be a bit pricey but worth every penny! The food was delicious and much bigger than the picture! You can eat with great music and remarkable decoration. Also every staff are very friendly and warm. Having lunch here is one of the biggest Highlights of my trip. 100% recommended!!

Had a group of 4, ordered 2 hot drinks to start which came out cold. We ordered a starter of chips, 4 meals and 4 drinks, after about 15 minutes 3 of the main meals had come out and 5 minutes after that we got our starter of a mix between wedges and chips which looked like a side rather than a starter. After another 5 minutes we asked where our last meal was which they quickly brought out to us with melted ice cream and the pancakes cold, clearly it had been sitting ready to bring out to us for some time. We asked for it to be remade. After 20 minutes and everyone else finishing their meal we left without the last meal coming out. Not a great way to celebrate a birthday. The table next to us also ordered pancakes for dessert after their main meals and were waiting 20 minutes when we left. We told the people lining up out the door not to waste your time. We won't be back and recommend no one goes here.

We were lucky to find a table, it was so full but it is all worth it. Food portions were great. The ambience is great!! The restaurant is a piece of art!!

As a crepes lover, I always like to try crepes whenever I can. It was a let down when I try the ultimate crepes at Pancake Manor, we ordered two exact same dishes, however one was “flooded” with cream cheese and sauce, it was too rich to even eat more then one piece. The crepes taste were nothing like crepes, if you were looking for authentic crepes, this isn’t a place for you. Although their menu are big portions with cheap price, but food quality was not meeting standard. The restaurant was crowded and noisy, most of tables are young families or elders, it’s okay for big group of family or friends but definitely not ideal if you want to enjoy some quality food and quite time to yourself. The ladies room in the basement was smelly, the toilets lacked of attention, not a pleasant dinning experience.

We love Pancake Parlour in Melbourne and had high hopes(not sure if its the same franchise). But the pancakes were so disappointing, not upto the standards we've had the Melbourne locations. Doughy, tasteless and dry. The chocolate sauce was a watery, generic gloppy mess. The staff were lovely though and ambience is great. Took 50 minutes to get our order out on New Years Day but all would've been forgiven had it been delicious. Very disappointed 😞
