I have never been to Coorparoo Clinic and never will as when I tried to make an appointment as a new patient the same afternoon, I was cut off mid sentence and told to try my regular Doctor as they need a longer consultation than 15 min for a new patient. Obviously, if my regular Doctor was not available which is why I was looking elsewhere, but RUDE was an understatement. Please run some professional development and suitable role plays for your reception staff so they understand and have rehearsed suitable and appropriate responses to people. Disappointed as I had found a Dr I would really like to see, but I will not tolerate such rude behaviour.

Dr Anmar is lovely. He is so gentle and kind with children and it is obvious that he is totally up to date with medical care and the latest research. Highly recommended!

"Doctor" Michelle Burrows is a joke. She spent over 30 minutes with each of her paients before me making me wait over an hour after my appoinment time and then spoke to me for all of 5 minutes before handing me a print off from the internet and sending me on my way. The Only reason my appointment took all of 15 mins is because she left the appointment part way through to take a phone call which took longer than both half of my appointments combined. Have used other doctors from Coorparoo Clinic and have never seen such an unprofessional waste of time in my life !

Dr Adrian Danieletto at the Coorparoo Clinic is fantastic. Thorough, caring, truly interested in what is going on. Takes the time needed to investigate and is not afraid to send you for tests if it is necessary. We take both our children to see him. He also bulk bills children under 16 which, for anyone with kids, this is a godsend. I have a separate female Dr at another clinic who I see for lady things but for all other issues I see Adrian. Highly recommend!

Worst doctor surgery. Each doctor I have seen there is incompetent and uncaring. Dr Burrows especially horrible as she saw I was struggling to get my pram with a baby breastfeeding when she called my name and a complete stranger helped me while she walked away. Couldn’t care less about my baby’s issue and told me what I could have googled myself. She didn’t care to delve further and find a solution for me. Appalling bedside manner don’t know how she’s a doctor. Lucky I was bulk billed. Every doctor there shouldn’t be a doctor, do not recommend

I've long been a patient of Coorparoo Clinic and the practice deserves far more praise than previous reviews allow. All the doctors and staff are professional and caring, but I understand how sometimes people's behaviour can be misunderstood. Where someone can seem to be ignoring you they might in fact have to focus on a particular problem on their screen. I made this mistake at the clinic once. Doctors run late? That's pretty common and frustrating I know but I like to think they are being thorough. I also ring before I leave home to check if my doctor is running late and therefore I don't sit waiting long. Doctors who don't prescribe drugs just cause you demand them? Well a doctor would know better than a pharmacist if a script is required and would spot the signs of a fever without taking a temperature I note that one very negative review was posted by someone who'd completed five google reviews ever one of them scathing All in all I believe Coorparoo Clinic provides excellent health care. The fact is no ones perfect. Everyone has a bad day now and again including all the people who've posted negative feedback here.

Reception staff are so rude!

Dr Stevens has been looking after my family for years. He is an awesome doctor - kind, knowledgeable and he listens. If you have to wait a bit it is because he is caring for the person before you. I also find the reception staff just lovely. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wonderful doctors, it's a shame about the EXTREMELY RUDE receptionists. Particularly the elder one, avoid speaking to her at all costs, She WILL deter you from their center.

Have not see a doctor like Michelle Burrows. It is a joke.

The one star represents the one decent doctor who I see at this clinic, other than that there isn’t much else going on for this clinic. The reception staff are rude and unknowledgeable, appointments get cancelled 30min before they are scheduled with zero explanation and not even an apology. Pretty infuriating and slack for a professional office. If you can avoid, do it.

This clinic has been my family’s choice of clinic for many, many years. The kindly staff, clean, modern environment & the fact you hardly ever have to wait ensure we are very satisfied with this surgery. (Edit: 4 doctors in the past 2 years were unfortunately reluctant to treat me according to specialist’s instructions which was a humiliating experience. Whilst the nursing staff, the main GP & the reception are *wonderful*, 1 receptionist was a little rude [perhaps from over work, which I understand]. Lately, even though l’m an elderly dependent on my husband’s card, & bulk billed, there was an abrupt conversation about how I hadn’t followed procedure: as if I was expecting something for nothing! Never have I *expected* to be bulk billed or treated differently, but on that day, having crawled into the nurse’s area due to sickness, I was in a really bad way & being spoken to roughly was embarrassing. Still, I recommend this practice: people are mostly very kind & generous with their time: you’re not likely to find a more professional team elsewhere)

Fantastic surgery with professional polite reception staff, professional knowledgeable Doctors and caring friendly nursing staff. Great experience, minimal wait time and Doctors take time to listen, engage and provide expert advice. Certainly never a rushed experience and I do feel looked after when ever i need a consultation.

Please don’t ask the receptionists any reasonable questions about QML pathology (even if the businesses are next to each other and QMLS door is locked in opening hours) because they will give you an extremely snappy response. Judging by the disgusted response I was given, they get that question all too often.

A bit of a wait, but my doctorwas friendly, thorough and bulk billed and the nurses in the clinic are efficient and friendly.

The doctors and nurses were amazing, very nice and amazing at their jobs, very high praise for those guys. Explained everything to my wife and I and just had the most pleasant demeanor. The reception staff leave a lot to be desired though, they come across very rude with a "we're better than you" attitude. I would honestly give 5 stars if it wasn't for the reception staff

Finding a good female doctor who is compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and capable of working with me around my complex medical history has been a challenge. My psych recommended I see Dr Amy Callaghan and I am so grateful that I did, she's brilliant! I've never left a GP appointment feeling so good! She's is everything I'd want in a GP and more. Thorough, understanding and she didn't rush me at all, unlike most doctors I've seen. The practice is good, they have all the facilities there that you'd expect in a medical clinic. It's clean and tidy, it was quite busy (probably because they're great?!) but there were no long waits. The reception staff are friendly and seem pretty organised. Overall, I would highly recommend.

We highly recommend the Coorparoo Clinic. The medical staff are knowledgeable, professional, kind and caring and listen to you. Wonderful! Some of the doctors are pretty good unfortunately on multiple occasions the wait has been over 30 minutes and the staff out the front come off as a bit rude :/

If you go to get physio there see Wendy, she really knows what she's doing and with her treatments and exercises she really helped to get my shoulder strong and mobile again.

Dr. Christine Stathakis is the very best gp I've ever had. I don't think I'll ever see another gp for as long as she's available. (Please never retire Chris <3)

Unfortunately, this isn't a positive review. After three appointments in as many days (which were nothing more than questionnaires of already documented information) I felt rushed, like I was an inconvenience and my issues weren't taken seriously. I always end up apologising for having too many things to speak about and am never able to book a double appointment, meaning I never leave with results or guidance. Really, really disappointing and it's only now after receiving my cardiologist referral that I'm posting this, as I won't go back. Hopefully the reception staff can start being a little kinder and the doctors can be more accommodating for people who are unwell and scared.

Had an appointment at 2:30 and waited until 4:30 and was told that there was still 2 people a head of me???? It's kind of ridiculous to wait that long for at least 10-15 minutes with a doctor.

Excellent doctors and staff, have been a patient for years, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I’ve been at this clinic for a while and have never had an issue with the doctors. However, the receptionists have shocking customer service. I rang them about a question I had and the response was “nope, no idea” then continued to give me a blunt tone of voice. Never cracked a smile either. Disgusted with the customer service.

I was charged extra for a 'long' consultation that lasted about 15 minutes. Requests for clarity about this have been ignored

Had a very thorough EPC care plan conducted by Nurse Anne-Maree. Such a friendly lady who made me feel very welcome and relaxed.

The reception staff are incredibly rude (especially the elder one). Today I called and they tried to convince me I'd never been there before. I have had acupuncture there and it was great, though today the Irish lady tells me they don't even do acupuncture and to "just ring back Monday". I will not recommend this place to anyone, nor will I be going back.

Thanks to Dr Shimali always assertive with her treatment. Dr Shimali sees all my family members and we’re very happy with her. Also the receptionists are lovely and helpful. In general we have had good experiences with the doctors and nurses from Coorparoo Clinic.

For someone who goes to the Doctor once in a blue moon , unfortunately I had to go twice in the past fortnight. First up I went to see Dr. Michelle Burrows and secondly I had a consult with Dr. Maura Connelly. From the beginning I was treated so well from the receptionist through to the Doctors. I also had to spend some time in the back room with the Nurses who were incredibly nice and accommodating to me ,the Tafe student there was also superb. I could see by the way the management and Doctors were communicating with the staff that this would be a really good place to work. Respect is shown to everyone . From me, a big thank you to you all for your complete care and beautiful manner. Highly recommend.

This is such a good medical clinic! Dr Maura Connolly is a very caring doctor. I would highly recommend her to anybody.

I was really impressed with Dr Burrows thoroughness. She did not leave any stone unturned. The receptionist staff were very friendly and efficient.

Not at all accommodating. I needed my baby seen by a doctor but when I got to the clinic I was told that because she had a runny nose the GP would not see her. Since starting daycare 12 weeks ago, my daughter has a constant runny nose! This clinic was my last option before taking her to emergency since she was so sick. If the GP’s at this clinic aren’t willing to see people even with minor sniffles or coughs, who are they seeing? Plus, the people on reception were incredibly rude and unaccommodating. Never going there again. Will sit for hours in emergency if I need because at least I know my baby will be seen by someone.

Useless. Both Dr. I saw were uncaring and unhelpful for my back issues. Both times I watched as they Googled for answers and recited some basic advice before shooing me off to some other place to be someone elses problem. Plus you still get charged for extended consultation time. This place has ruined my trust in GP's. To save yourself time from visiting this place - take some painkillers, rest, and good luck :)

Recently my mum Gina saw Dr Maura Connolly at this clinic. Dr Maura Connolly was very caring and helpful. The reception staff was also very friendly. She is very pleased with her visit.

I took my son to clinic, that he can't hear properly. Receptionist and doctor treated this Covid symptom and doesn't allow us inside to sit in waiting area. They asked us to stand outside the clinic. In the covid symptoms list they provided on the main entrance door, they haven't listed that can't hear is Covid symptom. Finally Doctor didn't call inside the clinic, She contacted us via phone and asking about the Patient. In the first Instance, They gave us walk-in GP appointment they instantly changed to telephonic appointment which is very disappointing. They should have informed this to us earlier to us that it's a telephonic appointment. We wasted all our time and waited outside the clinic. The receptionist and Doctor are very rude. I can't tolerate this type of behavior in clinics especially while dealing with young children. We all very much frustrated with their behaviour and i don't want this happen to any other families. I don't recommend any one to visit the Coorparoo clinic especially Dr Michelle Burrows. I would give no stars if there is an option.

I recently came to see Dr Mark Fletcher on recommendation as I was looking to change my GP. Dr Fletcher was lovely, kind and professional and I could not fault him in any way. However, the reception staff were incredibly rude and abrupt, unfriendly and one rolled her eyes at me when I asked about the progress of my waiting time , saying “if you can’t wait feel free to leave”. A few weeks later I called for a Telehealth appointment as I was having a reaction to the antibiotics I was on, and was told there was nobody available, I could only have Telehealth for Covid symptoms, and to go back to my former GP if I wanted help! She was rude, unhelpful and abrupt. Name was Donna. I now feel anxiety about coming there again even though Dr Fletcher was wonderful because of the absolute rudeness of the reception staff. Such a shame for a practice with such good doctors whom I am sure would not want their patients treated so rudely.

I want to thank Andrea again for taking the time to talk to me and to try and sort/figure out an issue I had last week with an appointment being cancelled and notification not coming through to me that this had happened. I also highly recommend seeing Dr. Maura Connolly. It was my first time seeing her today as my usual Dr was not available, and she was so understanding, caring, and gentle with my cervical screening.

Dr Mark Fletcher has been my family Dr for 25 years and I have 100% trust in his medical abilities. He is a gentleman and a real nice bloke. Nothing but praise for this Dr. Thanks you Mark for being so awesome at your profession. 10/10

My 16 yr old daughter went for her first solo appointment. Receptionist were rude and abrupt. She was charged $2 for paper mask. I understand her needing one but they were very rude and treated her terribly. The appointment was not BB even though she is a child & student. Changed $60 and did $17.90 medicare refund using the wrong item number. Now I have to go sort this out. My family has been coming here for 18yr but no more. The Drs are good but the receptionists are rude, abrupt, aggressive and mean. Update: They contacted me to discuss. Thank you for listening to our concerns.

It's been 2 years since I last visited this clinic, and had a very easy, pleasant experience today. Saw Dr Heather Carcary, my favourite - a GP who really listens and really cares.

The front desk staff are rude. Actually what happened when I finished with the doctor and he said that I should make an appointment with the nurse regarding services Australia. The front desk lady produced a piece of paper and asked me to sign. I said let me go through it before signing. She said if don’t sign I will give you a bill.

I have been seeing Dr Tan for the past 22 years due to having skin cancer in my early 20’s. He has been amazing and very thorough. However today I called on my way in thinking I was doing the right thing to let them know that I was 5 mins away and was told that I couldn’t be seen and would need to rebook due to being 7 minutes late. When asked if I could swap with the next patient they advised that the patient wasn’t even their yet, hmmm wonder if they their appointment cancelled to?. I travelled from the Northside of Brisbane and had to pay two tolls costing me over $10 and the fuel cost. I’m extremely disappointed and upset over the poor service and lack of care towards their patients and now have to wait over a month to get another appointment and stress myself out over it. They don’t seem to mind when I have to wait if the doctor is running over. I will unfortunately not be retuning back to this clinic due to their poor service.

As always my visits to the Cooparoo clinic are of the highest professionalism. Dr Fletcher is very caring and thorough with the care and medical knowledge that he provides to myself and other family members.

First time at this clinic. The first impression is always a good indicator of quality and we were really delighted with our experience. The receptionist was very homely and friendly and the clinic clean and spacious. Dr Shimali was very caring and friendly and our overall experience was 5 stars. Dr. Hamid was very lovely and kind. It was my first time here and all the processes were clearly explained and the waiting area is spacious. The receptionists were all very nice, patient and clear. There is parking right outside.

I’ve been coming to this clinic for the past couple of years. Never had an issue. Receptionists are kind and welcoming, nurses are friendly and informative and Dr Fernando is very helpful and friendly. I’m now taking my infant daughter to this clinic too. Bulk billing is available depending on doctor and appointment type.

I've been seeing Dr M Fletcher for many years. He has been our family Dr and is amazing. He is very attentive, informative, knowledgable and experienced with a great network of Doctors when we have needed a referral.

Dr Christine is a really great doctor, but she's so popular that you will be waiting a long time to see her. I don't think I've ever been in the waiting room less than an hour, the longest I've waited was three hours which is completely unacceptable. So make sure you don't have any place you need to be soon after your appointment time. Some reception staff are nice but others are rude and/or unhelpful.

A remarkably unpleasant experience. I needed a referral for a COVID test. When I returned to get a signed copy of the certificate on a letter head, the front desk staff were perfunctory to say the least. They did not have letterheads, only a stamp and could not sign the test results without an additional $75 payment. This is not a community service, and the staff are very unpleasant. If they don't like the job they should retire - its about time. I would NOT return to this business and would not recommend this clinic.

Love Dr Phillip and Dr Stevens, they seem to be very genuine and fair - however reception staff are there and just gossip and speak in a blunt manner. For a Doctors centre that does not bulk bill, its just not acceptable.

Dr Christine was a horrific dr who over medicated me and many people I have met since. She had little regard for how treatments worked and instead piled on more medications, never giving me warnings that the medications could have bad interactions, once to the point of me nearly dying. The reception staff are rude and terrible at their Jobs. Even when I moved to a new surgery and wrote out proper requests for my documentation then didn’t send 3/4 of what was needed and continue to make it overly difficult. Do not go to this practice.

My little (10m old) one and I have been visiting this clinic many times during the past few months. They offer great service. The reception is nice. We don't have to wait too long. Dr Anmar Aydami is just awesome, caring and spot on. Highly recommend

The clinic has friendly staffs. The nurses are unbelievably professional which can make your experience very easy even if you’re there for your baby’s vaccination

After chatting with my local chemist they advised me to go to the doctor to get a script for cold and flu tablets, I made an appointment to get treated like a junky. I asked the doctor for the script, she flat refused. From that moment she appeared disinterested in anything l had to say. I then asked the doctor to check my temperature, because apparently doctors wait for patients to ask these days. Quickly like a child not really wanting to clean there room she checked my temp and dismissed anything I had to say. I then asked that I get bulk billed for as the doctor would not give me the script I asked for, she said she would this time only. I went here as I live right around the corner with my partner and two kids, never again will any of us go here. Back to Better Health Medical Center in Wishart we go.

Waiting an hour for the third time, no discredit to the doctor but when you make appointments stick to your times. I also have clients but I’m never out by more than 5 minutes

I've received better care at bulk-billing practices than this place. I paid $70 for an appointment to be given a print-out from the internet, of things I already knew, and be condescended to for half an hour as if I were a half-wit who didn't know anything, and then had the gall to suggest that I go off my current psych-prescribed medications. So unprofessional. I definitely would not recommend this clinic for anyone suffering from mental health issues.

Weekends service is terrible Waiting times for more than 1 hours. Receptionist rude and careless. I waited 1 hour for my 2 years old son to be attended and when it suposed to be my turn the receptionist Diana decided to let another lady to go in. I had to leave and find another medical practice.

My experience was a very positive one. Most friendly and helpful receptionist, when my granchild was crying the receptionst put the TV on the Kids channel which was very thoughtful. It is a very busy surgery and I have always had a positive experience. I guess it is easy for people to be critical much harder to say something possitive

My family and I have been going to Dt Stevens and Coorparoo Clinic for many years and we always receive great service from the reception staff, the nurses and in particular Dr Stevens. John is extremely personable and provides great customer care.

We moved from Corparoo a few years ago to the north side of Brisbane and we are still seeing Doctor Stevens here whenever we need to. He is exceptional doctor. The receptionists are also really nice and helpful. If I could, I would give you guys more than five stars.

GP I saw was great, very informative. The nurse Hayley I believe it was was amazing, removed my stitches and talked me through the process due to my stress about the situation, just so lovely and welcoming all the nurses. The receptionists on the other hand were very rude and short, not sure if it was just a bad day but I was in a lot of pain and distress (stitches in face and all) not what I needed to give me confidence before having them removed from my face.

Dr Fletcher was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable .

Went for my booster shot, clinic staff lovely and explained process really clearly. Nurses/med staff also friendly and happy to talk through options and questions despite being busy

New patient: Dr was friendly and very knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly about our toddler. Front desk ladies were friendly, patient and fantastic with paperwork that was a little confusing. Overall great first visit, would recommend.

Been coming to cc for years very good surgery and everyone there are very professional my doctor Phillip A is the best always happy ,helpful, and does everything to make a patient well .

Dr Michelle BURROWs. Awful Doctor. A long appt was made three weeks in advance for my partner to see her. Received a text message the day before asking if still attending. He went there only to be told she only does phone appts and can't see him. The reason he went to see her is because he suffers from severe depression and anxiety and it is at the worst it's ever been for him. She was the only doctor he felt comfortable going to speak to. And he needed HELP. He told the receptionist, he can't do phone appts, he's had a very bad mental health break down and he needs help with his anxiety' The receptionist went and spoke to Doctor Michelle BURROWS, and came back saying to him 'She will let you sit outside and call you there?' he told her again, his anxiety is SO bad right now, he physically CANT bring himself to answer any phone calls, that's how bad his mental health is right now.' The receptionist spoke to Doctor BURROWS once again, and he was then sent away. He was sent away in the middle of a mental health crisis, feeling suicidal.... sent away without care. Which anyone who understands mental health, that is COMPLETELY unacceptable for a Doctor to do. It is malpractice. Because if he leaves, and kills himself, it's her fault. Because she had a duty of care to her patient, who was THERE to see her for F&CKING HELP.! There was no email or text message sent to him advising she is only taking phone appointments, and there was notification when making the appointment that she only takes phone appointments. He received a message the day before saying 'are you still coming?.' which he replied 'yes.' He is struggling with severe mental health issues, he needed help with this, and he was sent away. If I wasn't here to talk to him, he could have committed suicide in that moment. Absolutely shameful practices.

Highly recommend Coorparoo Clinic. I was a new patient & urgently needed an appointment. I was fitted in within half an hour & treated very well. The reception staff were lovely & extremely helpful, as well as friendly. The Doctor I saw seemed to care & didn’t rush me out. The only negative is the fact that they don’t bulk bill unless you have a concession card.

This practice is terrific. The staff were all friendly and very professional. We barely waited to be checked in and to see the GP. Dr Mark Fletcher did a thorough health exam and explained everything in a practical and informative manner. He is very knowledgeable with clear and detailed explanations. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Always a pleasant experience visiting Coorparoo Clinic. I have rarely had to wait for more than a few minutes past my appointment time. The reception staff are friendly and professional. Dr Fletcher provides great advice and considered opinions when diagnosing ailments and I feel confident following his advice and treatment options.

I have been a patient of Coorparoo Clinic for over 30 years and I have always received excellent service and care from firstly Dr Peter Fletcher and since his retirement his younger brother Dr Mark Fletcher and all the practice nurses and reception staff. At times when Drs Fletcher have been on leave I have seen other doctors and I have received the same excellent professional personal care. I can not recommend Coorparoo Clinic and its doctors and staff more highly.

Very impressed with prompt service. Booked online, arrived 10 minutes prior to the appointment & as I finished my new client details, I was called in by my doctor as per appointment. Issued a script which was promptly dispatched at the pharmacy located next door. My doctor was very pleasant.
