My recent trip to Bunnings left me thoroughly impressed. With its ample on-site parking and convenient access, it made for a hassle-free visit. Additionally, the provision of on-site toilets proved to be an excellent convenience, particularly for us tradespeople. What stood out the most to me was the ever-friendly Bunnings staff, always ready to assist and guide you through their expansive range of products. Whether you're an avid DIY enthusiast or a seasoned tradesman like me, Bunnings has just about everything you could need, making equipment procurement a breeze. Moreover, I must commend their well-organized loading bay and the readily available help with loading purchases into my Ute for the journey back home - a service that makes a substantial difference. To top it all off, Bunnings' unbeatable lowest prices policy makes the shopping experience even more satisfying. They promise to beat any competitor's lower price on the same in-stock item, including GST and delivery charges, by 10%. This does not apply to trade quotes, stock liquidations, commercial quantities, and items sold by other Bunnings Group businesses and Bunnings Marketplace. If you come across a lower price online on a product sold by Bunnings, simply contact their Customer Support, and they will process the price guarantee and place your order. In conclusion, Bunnings offers a comprehensive solution to all your trade needs, paired with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and the best prices in the market. I couldn't recommend them more!

One of the best Bunnings stores in Brisbane and it is located on 2 levels. Plenty of parking underneath the store and they have more variety than other Bunnings store.

Had an odd experience, I was using the self serve checkouts purchasing a boxed desk lamp. The man watching over the section came over immediately after I scanned it and opened the box, and said "I'm just going to check inside because sometimes these lamps are broken or scratched". Proceeded to take out all of the internal packaging and didn't actually assess the lamps, and clumsily placed everything back in. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he thought I'd stashed some items in there or something. Mind you I had to wait in line, and casually noticed customers ahead of me with more complex items not being given this "A-Grade customer service". It didn't feel too great clearly being profiled like this. I was helped in the lighting section by a lovely and knowledgeable woman, however this interaction at the register left a sour taste.

One of the best Bunnings in Brisbane because it's still pretty new! Our dog @tokenoflove had thr best time exploring. There is such a range of everything including plants, building material, cleaning, storage and so much more. Staff are super friendly here too. There's even as escalator to get to the 2nd floor! Bathrooms are also located in the store.

I had my first Bunnings sizzle!! And I got two of the cutest succulents that I hope I can keep alive. And I laughed at the pots of grass. And this place is so much better than Home Depot. Man. Love Bunnings. Staff were super kind and patient and pointed me to the right aisles. This place is great. Clean. Plants galore. Sizzles galore. I feel like I got closer to the Australian immersion experience. Again, I don't know why it's so much better than Home Depot but it just is and that makes me disappointed in Home Depot. Do better.

Cannot recommend this bunnings enough if you are looking for paint! Max from the paint department was a great guy, very helpful and knowledgeable. We had so many issues from other team members not giving us the right colour, but he took the time to help us find the right paint from the get-go. In future, if I ever need help with paint, I know I’ll be able to rely on Max.

Friendly service. Seems to pack a decent range of products and features the longest escalator I've ever been on. Parking was simple and navigating the store wasn't too much of an issue. Really clean compared to other stores.

By far the best Bunnings in Brisbane. Exemplifying the full suite of tools, machinery, storage, home and garden, and other staples of the chain, this Bunnings also possesses a particularly excellent flora section. Ample underground parking with a large loading lift make this an excellent location to restock. The underground sausage sizzle is also a welcome retreat on a hot Summer's day.

a wonderful boy named Sam helped me pick out a door handle for my new study room. He gave me details and instructions on how to install my new door handle; I can tell how interested he was to help me out. His vast knowledge of door handles really inspired me to pursue a career in installing door handles for other people. Thank you Sam, may you be blessed with a wonderful and healthy future. I hope every door you open leads you to a great happiness.

OK we all know Bunnings is a DIY enthusiast's dream! This one is no exception. Strategically located in the heart of Newstead, this branch stands out with its expansive range of home improvement products and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Navigating through the aisles, I was impressed by the sheer variety and organization, making it easy to locate even the most niche items. The in-store workshops and demonstrations are a fantastic touch, offering practical insights for various home projects. And, of course, their weekend sausage sizzles provide the perfect break from shopping. Bunnings Newstead seamlessly blends quality, variety, and community spirit. Kudos to the team for consistently delivering a top-notch experience!

Brian from the plumbing department was absolutely wonderful. He took time out of his break to help me, found exactly what I needed and gave me tips and useful information to help me complete my project. He explained everything in a simple manner and went far and beyond my expectations. Thanks Brian, now my tap doesn’t spray water everywhere when I turn it on!!

I purchased these lovely plants from Bunnings Newstead. The weekends are when I tend to shop, and although so does everyone else, the waiting time to purchase is quick.

This place is great. Staff were friendly. Store is huge and clean. They so enforce bag checks which is to be expected for stores close to the city. Kind of frustrating but it will never change. All good!

Bunnings Newstead is always such a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and I have always enjoyed coming here. Sometimes there is minimal stock or things have sold out but the team are happy to order it in or call other stores. Very happy shopping here.

A clean store with polite staff. Having two levels of well layed out products, make for an enjoyable time instore. The range and volume of products is quite extensive.

It is so convenient being so close to the city and it's massive. I'm not a tradie so I can't speak for them. Plenty of covered parking for both standard customers & tradies. They may not have every single thing you need, like some special bathroom part, particular light or electrical item, but don't be surprised to find things that you thought they didn't stock - like Makita and Belkin brands.

“If a child exhibits poor manners or behaviour it’s the fault of their upbringing and not the individuals.” Bunnings Newstead is my closest store and I visit it frequently on weekdays and on weekends. I have raised two internal complaints regarding inappropriate banter to customers, staff unhelpfulness, laziness, and in one case blatant rudeness. Despite my complaints, management do not keep them under control with most staff under 20 the store has a distinct culture of indiscipline and irrelevance to customers or repeat regulars. For example, on a quiet week night, I completed a large purchase with the kids and family at the self serve, monitored by a young boy and girl chatting away. We go to leave and she asks to check our receipt. We were the only customers at the station. If she was doing her job and observing instead of chatting she would have seen we scanned all the items. On another occasion, I got some keys cut and the boy makes me wait for service while he finishes his non work related conversation with another girl. I collect the keys, pay for the job but he leaves without handing me the receipt. Another girl at the counter prints it for me. Getting help is extremely difficult at that store, it’s as though they avoid it or try to brush you off as quickly as possible. In summary, feels like the staff at that store were brought up without manners, not trained, managed or drilled to provide customer service skills. The store has an uncomfortable vibe about it.

Sorry, it was about a month ago. Tane, (spelling may be wrong )who worked upstairs spent a lot of time to try to find fan heater. Although the one what I looked for was sold out even other shop, I really appreciate. Thank you so much!

A mighty fine Bunnings, it's massive, split across two levels, had a great outdoor garden range, a fair amount of free parking all under cover but it does get busy. Staff have always been friendly and helpful here. I would even say it's my favorite Bunnings in the country!

A nice, big store with plenty of underground parking. Big selection, very convenient location. If you're heading up to garden / electrical, etc. and the travelator is either not working (too regular an occurrence) or moving super-slowly (also usual), better bet sometimes is elevators (to your left as you enter the store.)

Multi level store with an open air nursery on the top level. There is a wide range of plants as well as pots of all sizes, for indoor and outdoor. I bought some of these stunning pots featuring Indigenous art designs from a number of Indigenous artists.

I was quite surprised by the size of this Bunnings for a inner city site. Very clean and modern. They have 2 levels with an outdoor area and everything you come to expect with Bunnings. But gutted they still don’t have a sausage sizzle.

Great range, but always find staff quite unwilling to help. You’ll approach them with a smile and they look at you with a blank stare, no smile. Like you’re ruining their day by asking where to find grout. (Also editing to add one staff member sent me to aisle 53, the next sent me to aisle 5, then the third actually looked it up.) A note to staff: A bigger part of your job isn’t just packing shelves, it’s helping customers and doing it with a pleasant attitude.

A very handy location close to the city, and has everything that the home handyman or tradie could ask for. The only trick is knowing where the elevators are when you have a fully loaded trolley and are on the top floor😉 Helpful staff and great prices👍

sometimes have a short wait for click and collect but ask someone and you will be looked after reasonably quickly. Staff are friendly and courteous but you sometimes need to ask for assistance. I enjoy my Bunnings experience

Like the mothership of hardware. 2hr parking, then pay. Hard to get parking on ground level all the time. Looks like dogs are welcomed. Sadly when i ask for what i am seeking, I’m never told the right place. I feel like I’m going on a trek in the store. Some staff appear to busy doing stockfill, whilst others are happy to help & make sure you find what you are seeking. Two floors. Self service and customer service check outs.

I have been to this Bunnings many times and have ALWAYS had an amazing experience. Yes, you read that right, AMAZING! On a recent visit, my children were excited to be able to participate in an Easter game which lead them to a bag of Easter eggs as a prize and they each received a fun gift as we left the store! However today was equally as amazing for me! I went to purchase some line for my trimmer and a friendly assistant David, not only showed me what lime to purchase, but he gave me the complete run down in how to change my line and tips to make it last longer!!! Well done Bunnings Newstead!!!

Always super crowded. But close by and handy. Huge store with wide range. Shopping online with click and collect beforehand is a huge time saver here. People working checkouts are always in an up beat mood and kinda breaks the tone of the place where old ladies are basically elbowing you out of the way. They really need a decent store map at the entrance.

I was stranded in the Bunnings car park today with a flat tyre. I’m so impressed with the team at Bunnings Newstead, the team lead for the day and especially Colman who changed my flat to my space saver. Colman was brilliant, very kind, and professional, going above what would be his usual duties. Great job Bunnings team. You saved my day. Thank you.

My absolute favourite Bunnings! Really friendly staff, huge range, two stories and a massive plant section for all my fellow green thumbs. Plus there's an in-built cafe, perfect for grabbing a coffee while you wander around. Also dog-friendly!

  • 4/5 Craig O. 2 years ago on Google
Bunnings reasonably new store, a huge place, it is 3 levels high, under cover parking, up the escalator to the first floor and if you need plants etc and electrical up the next set of escalators. Well planned out but when you're used to your normal Bunnings it's an experience.
