I had an amazing experience trying the afternoon tea for the first time. The restaurant is beautiful, comfortable and inspiring. The staff is nice and cordial. The food was delicious. It costs £30 per person and you check all that is included in the menu at their website. Everything was perfect.

Absolutely amazing!!! A stunning place. (They all are). The service, the food, the decor, the environment, a 5 out of 5 venue. You will not be disappointed. A clean well presented restaurant. Almost reminds you of what it may have been like on the Titanic. We went for breakfast and it was just Devine! The food was brought out at our convenience so it was warm. A beautiful breakfast date with a very reasonable bill at the end. A thoroughly enjoyable experience in all ways. Not your cheapest breakfast but don’t expect it to be McDonalds prices, you pay for the experience. Thank you for the opportunity and the services provided. Loved it!

Service was exceptional, we were taken care of really well. The food was amazing and the cocktails to die for. Definitely somewhere to go for that special event. You get what you pay for.

It's one of my wife's favourite restaurant. It's a decent restaurant with different interior. Food is delicious and well presented. We expected it to be expensive but it was well worth the money. Only drawback is service charge added to the bill. Service is normal nothing extraordinary.

I have had a few poor experiences at the ivy Oxford and so I have been hesitant to visit the Clifton restaurant. However, the experience my girlfriend and I had completely surprised me, from the kindness of the staff to the quality of the food in all regards was absolutely superb. Our waiter in particular, Alex, was incredibly attentive, very kind and made our experience just that much better. I will be back very soon and look forward to it.

I’ll be back for sure! Absolutely fantastic dining experience. The staff are amazing! They are true professionals. From the lady at reception (dinner time on 20th August 2022) who helped me with my reservation, the gentleman who attended our table, the bartender and the manager. Everyone was friendly, attentive, making me feel right at home. Cocktails and food were great! 💯 beautiful decor!

I know Ivy is a chain restaurant that have many in UK. This one located in Clifton in a historic beautiful building. Good service and impeccable decor, amazing place to chill with your friends for afternoon tea. Compared to other hotel restaurants in around, their cream tea set worth its price.

Another delicious lunch. Festive shepherd's pie, brickhouse chicken and polar bear bombe. Delicious lunch. The blackened cob was superb. It's very tasty. Fries nice and crispy. The desserts were amazing. A must-have. Especially the Fig and pistachio feuillete. It was well worth the extra wait. We also had the chocolate bomb, which was delicious. Service is excellent. Just a pity parking isn't easier.

The atmosphere there is suitable for celebrations I ordered Truffle Chicken Milanese. The seasoning of truffle sauce and egg tasted good, but the chicken was fried a little bit dry.

An authentic British atmosphere, perfect for special occasions or any day you want to treat yourself! I went there for breakfast and the pancake was delicious (do not judge my choice😬). There were many other breakfast options, which all looked interesting and worth a try as well. The food menu is also worth a look before deciding to go! You can expect a slightly more expensive bill, but as I said, it is worth for s treat or a special occasion!

Had a lovely experience at The Ivy, for our wedding anniversary. Would definitely recommend and go again. A few personal touches allowed me to give them 5 stars. Thanks for a memorable evening!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and had the festive afternoon tea. Everything was amazing, from the atmosphere and food to the service. Thank you to our waiter Ammar for a memorable time, we can’t wait to return.

When you have been looking forward to this visit and come away feeling disappointed it’s not a good feeling! Our visit was Sunday lunchtime and it was really busy. Attention to detail was lacking and not what I expect from The Ivy. (It was not our first visit). My husband had almost finished his blackened cod, which he said was very nice, before his sides arrived. I had duck curry which was delicious. We ordered, after quite a wait, which was fine - we weren’t in a hurry, our deserts. They arrived and were eaten before the ‘birthday treat’ arrived - a nice touch but this should have been brought before we had ordered! Coffee was ordered, one with soya milk and one normal milk. The waitress ‘thought’ she had them the correct way around - actually she didn’t we found out ourselves. As I said attention to detail was missing. We will visit again but perhaps not a Sunday lunchtime! 🥲

Amazing food! Seriously high quality service from staff and beautiful venue. Prices are not expensive either considering the quality and service. Fantastic sized menu for food and drinks. Lots of choice. Multiple parking spaces outside and around the area of Clifton, also wheelchair access is available. Tipped the waiter as he was really attentive and nice 😊 Great night and experience! Would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Thank you!

We went there on Sunday for lunch/dinner. The ambiance is good, the food was excellent, the wine choices were good, and the members of staff were very knowledgeable about the menu choices. At the very end, due to the restaurant being insanely busy, and I mean...BUSY, they forgot to bring the coffees at the very end, but the memeber of staff called Marek M, apologised, insisted on taking it off the bill and have it for free and reassured that this is very unusual and that they try to abide to their great standards, however sometimes, due to busyness, they forget stuff. Well, we are humans after all, we're not perfect. Well done to you mate for trying to be professional, and make sure that the customers are enjoying their time when they walk through that door even under immense stress... 10 out of 10

Always a pleasure to dine here, and Christmas was no exception. Lovely family meal with delicious food, outstanding service and plenty of cocktails and wine. Our go-to place for a special night out

What an amazing experience!! Since we walked in we felt super welcome and the vibes were immaculate. Everyone working there seemed to be enjoying it and were super attentive at all times (taking our order, clearing our table, topping up our wine…). We wish we knew the name of the guy that served us because he was amazing! We had some starters, mains and desserts and we enjoyed everything but would especially recommend the prawn curry and the white chocolate cheesecake! Definitely a 5/5, will be back :)

Lovely setting and atmosphere, perfect place to celebrate an occasion at. The minute steak caught my eye as soon as I saw it on the menu and it tastes delicious too. Only thing was the service - could’ve been a little better but overall a great experience!

Our fourth visit here, celebrating our 15th anniversary. We were not sat in the main part of the restaurant but in the side part which unfortunately had no atmosphere, it was very busy, so felt a little forgotten, the tables are so close together you can hear everyone’s conversations, which is not great. The food was fine, my starter looked better than it tasted. Nice touch with the anniversary desert but felt it has been lost with the overall experience. Not sure if I will rush back anytime soon, you pay a lot of money for that little bit extra, sadly this time it wasn’t to be.

Spent a nice lunch time here on mother's day and my birthday. Great location and premises, good quality staff - very attentive. Our meals were very good and enjoyable. The only issue I had was the cleanliness of the cutlery, if only someone could be bothered to tea towel wipe each piece as it came out of the dishwasher I'd be a happy bunny and it would have been a 5 star visit!. I was treated to a birthday profiterole on the house and wifey was very pleased with a complimentary posey of flowers when we left.

Had a fantastic night, with family, to celebrate my graduation. Service fantastic, so well looked after by Thomas, he made our evening feel all the more special...big thanks. Wonderful meal, great selection of starters, the blackened cod I had for my main was excellent, all the sides were awesome, veg perfectly cooked. The rest of the party were also really happy (med rare steak was closer to medium, but not a problem at all). We were going to pass on dessert, but glad we didn't, Christmas pud, chocolate bomb...ate way too much and drank a little more than I should, maybe 🤔, but it was all so good. Love the old bank building, great setting, high ceilings lovely decor.
