I've been lucky enough to have two incredible experiences at Pasture. The first was for their wonderful steak and the second their unrivalled Sunday roast. Both times the service, food, attention to detail and atmosphere were out of this world. The staff are a real credit to the business and the food speaks for itself. Going again in May and I cannot wait - If you are wondering if this place lives up to the hype; don't, it exceeds it

A very mouthwatering and extremely enjoyable experience. The team that looked after us were friendly and happy to explain the different cuts of meat as well as advise on appropriate amounts based on the quantity of sides, and whether dessert was likely too. I was pleased to see the offer of local craft beer too. The food presentation was spot on and it tasted delicious. My first visit here and definitely not my last.

We had a very nice experience here. The T bone steak was great. Sides were good. Service was commendable and they explain steak cut options too. Perfect for celebratory dinner!

Probably the best steak place in Bristol! The service was great and they were so friendly and kind. The food was too delicious, I can’t even begin to describe it. Especially the squid starter! Had a great time.

Had the loveliest meal ever in pasture! Full of flavours and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The guy who took our order for drink was super polite and friendly and kept checking to be sure we were fine. The cocktails especially penicillin is highly recommended and the steak and desert were 100%. Pasture is truly what fine dining and great customer service is about. Would definitely recommend. Cant wait to try again as the memory of the food still lingers..Thumbs up!!!!!

Spent a very enjoyable 3hrs here with old friends. The service is absolutely first class, the waiting staff really go out of their way to make sure you know what you are ordering, the amounts are correct, and you know the best sides to compliment. We had a mix of porterman and chateau steak, both cooked to perfection and incredibly good, but the latter was certainly my favourite. Deserts are out of this world, a must have.

Amazing! The service is absolutely 10 stars. So friendly and professional, everything was spot on. Sam, our server was amazing, definitely the best restaurant service I’ve ever received and I didn’t realise that there is no added gratuity onto the bill until We had already left. I wish I had noticed. I feel terrible as there has never been service more deserving of a tip. The pork belly starter was so tender and melt in the mouth. The sourdough was the best I’ve ever had. The steak was spot on and very reasonably priced for how good it was. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting, although felt the music was a little bit too loud. 10/10 will definitely come back, soon!

Fantastic dining experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our server was Sam! The building and atmosphere are great too. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I can't recommend Pasture enough! It was a perfect dinner for my friend's 40th birthday. It is advisable to book well in advance (two and a half months) for us for a Thursday evening. We had a two hour slot for our table.

We had a lovely time here on our visit. The staff were very warm, welcoming and friendly from when we arrived until we left. We had a few starters to share before moving onto a steak each. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. We didn't end up having a dessert as we were very full from the rest of the meal. I will definitely look to return with some friends so we can share a special cut from the blackboard, they looked pretty amazing to be fair. I'd definitely recommend but do make sure you book a table well in advance as this restaurant is very popular.

Oh my goodness, where do I start. Booked this roast about 5 months ago. Had 2 courses and started with the pork belly starter which was nice and tender with a tasty sauce to go with it. The main, I went for the roast beef which had this amazing cherry oak taste, was very nice and tender. Roast potatoes were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yorkshire pudding sizeable and tasty, along with the gravy was nice and thick. The gratin and veg was again on point. Special mention goes to the red cabbage, definitely was the tastiest I've had to date! Service was amazing and friendly, they took time to explaining the menu.

Easily the best restaurant and food experience in Bristol. Food is superb, I tried their roast and it was unbelievable! The meat was incredible, the sides were fabulous and the service was just perfection!! Lovely and attentive staff, very knowledgeable and did not make the lunch feel rushed. The wine selection was amazing, I’m still dreaming about their Pinot noir. Cannot wait to visit again

My husband and I and my friends absolutely love it here. I’ve been at least 10 times and not once has it been less than exceptional. From the welcoming staff to the delicious food cooked perfectly every single time, you cannot go wrong. My favourites are the short rib croquettes, sumptuous sides and you cannot leave without having the chocolate dome! I’m back tomorrow night and can’t wait!

Fantastic dining experience, friendly staff and buzzing atmosphere, but can get very busy and loud. Food was incredible, highly enjoyed every single course and definitely will be returning again in the future to try some other menu options. The chicken wing starter and sirloin steak were my favourites. Chicken was crispy and flavourful with a tasty sauce and came in a big portion. The sirloin steak was tender with a lovely sauce on the side. Chips were dry and a little overcooked though. The pear vegan trifle was also fantastic, very delicate taste in a decent sized portion. The cream is light and not too sweet and pairs well with the tartness from the pears. Good selection of cocktails and drinks.

Vegetarian keep clear. Lol .. This place is a meat feast. Menu is varied, and the dishes stunning. Porterhouse steak was done to perfection. Highly recommend. Will try Cardiff to see if they are as good as Bristol... 5 stars..

We booked here for a birthday celebration. I heard the food was good but was delighted that the service was superb too. We had a demo at our table of the cuts of meat available and went with our lovely waiter’s recommendation including starters. Oh my goodness, we were not disappointed, the steak was melt in the mouth, never had a steak so delicious. We cannot wait to go back. An extra bonus was that they acknowledged the birthday boy with a lovely birthday plate, ice cream and candle. This will be a place to celebrate all our birthdays.

Loved it! Our waiter and all the staff we spoke with, seemed to love what they did and had a passion for the food. Understandable considering how amazing it was.

One of the best dining experiences I've had. Incredibly well made food, I highly recommend the croquettes they were the star of the show. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sauces divine. Even the cocktails were great! On top of that, the service was impeccable, can't recommend this place enough

We came here without a booking and the staff was very accommodating and seated us right away. We had tomahawk steak and two sides. The Portobello mushrooms were delicious, and so were the truffles' fries. The steak was tender and juicy with peppercorn sauce. I would come here again next time I'm in Bristol.

Firstly, where is the option for 6 stars? We booked a table for 5 to celebrate our daughter’s 22nd birthday and it was a delightful experience, start to finish. Staff - superb, the right level of friendliness, assistance and always available without intruding every 5 minutes. Food - simply wicked. We had a wide selection, Chateaubriand, Rump, Filets, belly pork, croquettes, bread, calamari - everything delicious and perfectly seasoned. We forced dessert down (surrre) with a lovely touch for the birthday girl. This is now one of our “must visit” restaurants in Bristol when we visit. Thank you for a perfect evening and not rushing us, even when we were still nattering late into the evening.

Went for a party valentine's treat with our 7 year old. Shared a 850g Chateaubriand between the 3 of us and various sides. Was very yummy and couldn't fault the service, very attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back but quite pricey so only as a treat.

One of the best dinner experiences I've had in the UK. We didn't have a booking and the restaurant was packed, but the staff tried their best to accommodate us (we ended up getting a private room!). The staff were also extremely welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. Food was overall fantastic, the steak especially did not disappoint. I would also recommend the grilled portobello mushrooms. Desserts, on the other hand, were definitely overshadowed by the mains.

Visited for the ‘radius’ tasting menu. Have visited pasture before so was already expecting good food but was honestly blown away by the experience. Food was as incredible as you would imagine. However what we were not expecting was how engaging and passionate Alec, Jake and the chefs were when describing the food and wine on offer. Alec and Jake in particular were great hosts and a lot of fun! The evening flew by and I can genuinely say this was by far the greatest tasting menu I have experienced.

Meat lovers most definitely won’t be disappointed. Well cooked cuts of meat, supported nicely by a variety of well prepared side dishes. One of the good steakhouses of Bristol.

I'm not sure if it was served correctly in my opinion. I've eaten many steaks in many places. It was cooked perfectly, just to much salt, took the taste away from the dish and the peppercorn sauce had no punch 😱😱 I did raise this with the manager for feedback purposes only, however I got the impression they're normally served this way? I dislike eating a steak meal with out a decent side sauce. (Don't judge me) lol I also don't have a picture of the steak for some reason (sorry). We had a Chateaubriand served sliced.

Excellent service! Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures of the meats we ordered but they were incredible (fillet 200g and ribeye 300g), best meat I’ve ever tried in Bristol at the moment. The croquettes were spectacular, loads of flavour and crunchy. The attention was 5 star and I would recommend everyone to try this place.

Came here for Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. You have to book months in advance but everything was delicious. The beef was not dry and pink - exactly how I like it. Everything came out hot! We had a wonderful meal.

One of the best steak restaurants I’ve been to. Probably on the same (if not better) level with Gaucho, Hawksmoor etc. we don’t have those in Bristol, so I’m very glad there is Pasture. Will definitely be coming back! Great service, top quality steak - great wine list too.

Had our 6th year anniversary here yesterday. We've been eager to have a nice meal at Pasture for a long time! We were not disappointed! To begin the staff were very welcoming and very informative. A great selection of drinks and a modern spacious area to dine in! Last but not least the food!! Our meal was delicious, we had the short rib croquettes to start and then the porterhouse steak (house cut option) as our main and a cheesecake for dessert. All were well cooked and prepared with tasty flavours! Looking around the room, we were envious of peoples roast dinners aswell, so we will be back for a Sunday roast one day!! I would definitely recommend Pasture, quality service and fantastic food. Thanks very much.

It's a really great steak experience. Beautifully cooked, great choices, and lovely sides. The kale and asparigus gratin was top tier. Well worth a visit if you are in Bristol... although plan ahead as gettkng a table.os not easy.

I can honestly say this place was the best combination of the best service and best food that I have ever experienced. The steaks are amazing, the staff went above and beyond (i used to work in a 5 star restaurant, but this is a steakhouse that puts 5 star service to shame), the place looked amazing, and we left with a huge smile on our faces and an experience we will not forget. If you visit Bristol and don't dine here, you will miss out on one of the place that makes Bristol shine.

The meat dishes, both beef and pork, were outstanding. I particularly like the pork belly starter. The pork chop was magnificent too. My family also had the fillet and sirloin mains and they absolutely loved it. The desserts, even after a full stomach, were immaculate.

This is honestly amazing. The quality of the service, food and drinks is incredible. My partner and I we already have dined here couple of times, but this time I had to post an review! Our favourite place to dine. The staff is great. Makes it everything so comfortable and enjoyable. We had oysters for starters and dessert! So flavourful. Can’t wait to be back !!

What a wonderful meal! We knew to expect great things after seeing many previous pictures of the food, but we did not expect such fantastic and personalised service. Chris, our waiter, was extremely knowledgeable and we can't wait to go back in non-Covid times to get a close up of some of the house cuts. Thank you so much Pasture for a wonderful experience!

Most of the food was very tasty and good quality, and the staff were pleasant and attentive. We did feel that some of the prices were too high. The cocktails tasted fine but were very expensive. The steak was prepared well and quite delicious but was also pricey. The mussels were good value and very nice. The rib croquettes are also very much worth trying. We were hoping for a lunch menu with reduced prices, but they offer the same menu all day. We didn't check in advance though.

The ambiance of the place is very nice. Very accommodating waiters and would give you a brief summary of where and how they get their steaks. Nice selection of wine and menu. Didn't fancy the bernaise sauce for my steak and my steak was a bit charred but tastes nice. The salted caramel for dessert was "a bit salty" per my friend's comment.

I'd heard lots of good things about Pasture before I booked a table. Due to its popularity, it's not always easy to book a table. But I managed to secure an early dining slot to celebrate my and my partner's anniversary last week. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole experience. When we walked through the door, the lady who greeted us and showed us to our table was lovely and friendly. With such a warm welcome, we were off to a good start already. Sitting down, we had a few minutes to survey our surroundings in the converted Victorian warehouse the restaurant calls home. It's a beautiful light and airy space, particularly on a sunny day with the sun streaming through the windows. It wasn't long before another lovely member of staff, Francesca, came to take our drinks and food order. Given the high level of customer service we had already received, we were expecting the food to be incredible - and we weren't disappointed. We ordered some sourdough bread to nibble on before the main course, which was delicious. Being a bread fiend, I could have eaten more! On to the main course and as this was a steakhouse, it was an easy choice. We were incredibly impressed with the quality of the food. The fillet steak I had was tender and cooked to perfection. My partner was equally impressed with hers. We both love desserts, so made sure we weren't too full to give them a try. We chose the chocolate dome and the coconut and lime parfait. The presentation was excellent and both desserts were delicious. If you've never dined at Pasture before, I highly recommend it. It's quite possibly going to be our go-to place when celebrating a special occasion. So thank you to the team at Pasture for such a wonderful evening. And a special shout out to our lovely server Francesca, for being so friendly and attentive. Great food accompanied by great customer service sums up the Pasture experience for us. We'll definitely be back!

We went here for a meal last night as we heard good things and it definitely lived up to expectations! The staff were so welcoming and were really attentive. Our table was a little late but only by 5 minutes which didn’t bother us at all and we thought nothing of it, but much to our surprise they gave us complimentary croquettes as a good will gesture and just went above and beyond so thank you! The food was incredible and reasonably priced. Will be back!

Had an amazing Sunday roast(beef). Service and quality of food was brilliant. Would highly recommend. Need to book in advance and may have to wait a month or so to get in.

Dined here with wife and child. The service. The service was impeccable from ALL staff who made us feel welcomed and were great with my 4 year old who did the ordering. Really appreciate all the staff here. The food. Ordered duck liver mousse, Chicken wings, rib eye, fillet, mushroom and cabbage. Kid had chicken lollipop. Kid loved the food (she a fussy eater) and ate quickly. The chips were nice and crispy and moist inside, cooked well. The starters were delicious with great flavours. The steaks, cooked to temperature though I think the method they used to cook the fillet gave it a slight rubbery crust which is not my preference. The sides where a little on the salty side. Often bit large pieces of rock salt. Ice cream was nice and creamy. Would definitely return and request steak to be cooked on grill and not opened and less salt in general.

Would give more stars if I could… wow! Just wow!! Absolutely incredible. It is hands down, the best meal I’ve ever had. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat steak again anywhere else. The service was fantastic. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth every single penny you spend. So worth the wait, already saving to come back. Thankyou so much to your entire team Pasture. It was lush!!! Having previously been to the Cardiff restaurant several times, we thought we would try Bristol for a change. No shocks it was amazing and nothing less than perfect.
